Love you all. I work at UMMS/shock trauma and understand how hard work has been for the past couple of years. Thanks for all you do! And thank you for not further freaking Ferrari out by holding her down anymore. I used to train dogs and I thought she was ' bomb proof' but just one visit changed her and now I can only do damage control. Thank you for being kind and accommodating. Y'all rock! Not holding her down against her will.

We thank you for the excellent care provided to both of our fur babies. Our dog, Bruno, died in my arms while in transit to CVCA. Upon arrival to the Towson facility, Dr. Miller and her top-notch staff worked amazingly hard to revive our boy. While unsuccessful, we watched while they all did everything in their power to bring him back. You would have thought they were working to revive a president. They worked at lightning speed in perfect unison like a well oiled operation. Each and every staff member was professional, experienced, and compassionate. CVCA made our nightmare a little less painful. And a special thanks to Karina. These people know what they're doing, and they're doing what they do because they truly care and believe in saving our furry family members. Great job guys. Thank you.

The team at CVCA cardiology were profesional, kind and compassionate! Dr. Shih is so patient and had time to answer all my questions. Anytime I have called with additional questions or concerns they have gotten back to me quickly with responses. I appreciate all they do to keep my dog happy and healthy!

Great visit with no complaints. I really appreciate that Dr. Rosenthal came out and updated me on the visit/ findings. He could have done it over the phone so it was really nice that he instead did it in person. The staff is always very friendly and I feel like they take great care of my pet!

Effective, easy experience, and responsive, friendly staff. It was stressful to be referred here as cardiac situations for pets are often pretty scary but I was put at ease by the receptionist after they made a prompt follow up to my internet submission for an appointment. I was very lucky to get an appointment the next day, which is unheard of but was grateful to be offered it. Insanely smooth customer service.The nurse who collected my pet upon arrival was very sweet. Dr. Shih was fantastic, following their Covid-19 procedure of coming outside to talk with me about my pet's results and what suggested treatment would be, including using a clipboard and diagram. Great conversational and caring experience - I felt very secure with my pet in her care after talking with her. I had the benefit of having a less severe case but I would imagine even with more serious results and situation, she would be amazing. Results and other information even invoice for online payment was all sent to email and they forward all information including future care recommendations to my primary vet. Couldn't ask for a more efficient and positive experience.

The staff there is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Shih is excellent; she adjusts the treatment plan as necessary and takes the pet's individual circumstance into consideration. She is also very compassionate, and conveys information clearly. I would give 10 stars if I could! Dr. Shih is extremely knowledgeable and has helped my dog immensely!

I was referred to CVCA by my primary care vet, as my kitty needed to be evaluated for possible hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The visit at the CVCA went very well, from start to finish. First, the front desk was super easy to work with and their Covid-19 protocols were very straightforward. The appointment itself was quick and the vet, Dr. Everett, took a conservative approach to testing/diagnostics to make sure we weren't spending more than we needed to on this visit. When my kitty's appointment was over, Dr. Everett came to my car with a dry-erase board with a diagram of a cat's heart to explain to me what was going on with mine; she was very thorough and answered all my questions. She also brought some cat-related humor to the discussion, which was appreciated because it made me less anxious/worried about my little guy. Later that same day, I was sent a very clear summary of the visit and given follow-up instructions as well. Overall, I am really grateful to have gone to the CVCA and would recommend it to others.

Despite warnings that it may take months to get an appointment we were able to find a time to visit just after speaking with our primary care vet and receiving word that NOLA had a heart murmur. The appointment was explained, the required exam preformed and the results discussed quickly. CVCA is all about good communication and customer service for pet owners and I assume they are equally attentive and caring with the patients. NOLA didn't offer any complaints!

It's a great visit. I was not able to find any cardiologist appointment available near where we live, but wanted to have our cat checked asap due to an elevated index. I came across CVCA on google search and when I called, they were the first clinic who actually asked about my cats condition, explained what exams we needed and walked me through the cost ( and I called at least 20 clinics!). It was a trusting relationship right from the beginning. And when we visited today, everyone was so warm, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. It comes to details and they actually care about the pets. Thanks to Dr Everett and all the staffs, we got our baby kitten checked out and fortunately he is all good. I could not recommend CVCA more!

Wonderful. Dr Everettexplained everything clearly and answered all my questions. My baby is definitely in good hands. The vet was knowledgeable and caring as was the vet tech. I felt comfortable with not being with my kitty

Very happy with my experience and I appreciate the exceptional level of care that my dog is receiving. I was very appreciative of the office calling me back to schedule an appointment sooner due to concerns about my dog's health. I received a detailed description of the tests done, the diagnosis and the course of action with medication. Dr. Shih answered all of my questions and was very friendly. All of the staff was helpful and caring at all times and the appointment was on time and completed within the expected timeframe.

Had to take my kitty for an echocardiogram due to an elevated BNP value. First appointment I could get was 4 weeks out. I was very concerned snd they promised to put me on waitlist. Called me two weeks earlier than appointment. The tech who came out to get her was awesome. So sweet and caring. The cardiologist came out afterwards to explain everything. They are so thorough and thoughtful. Highly recommend if you need a specialist.

I so appreciated the compassion and warmth of everyone. They truly treated my dog in such a warm and caring manner. They explained everything so thoroughly and never seemed rushed to go to their next patient. They are all so truly caring. We are returning patients to Dr. Shih as she took wonderful care of another of our dogs. Dr. Shih and the staff at CVCA are knowledgeable, kind and patients with pets and their human parents. I highly recommend Dr. Shih and CVCA for pets’ cardiac care.

I would highly recommend CVCA. Everyone was friendly. I did not feel rushed (and I know they were busy!). All of my questions were answered and the doctor explained the results thoroughly. Thank you!! Great communication from start to finish.

I was very happy with Daisy's visit and plan on bringing her back for follow up appointments. Dr Rosenthal explaining the results of her echocardiogram and what to look for that would indicate any changes in her condition. He was also very willing to answer any questions.

I was feeling very stressed about this appointment because my dog does not handle new places, people, and experiences well. I was very impressed by the staff (Dr. Shih and Kelcey) and how gentle they were with my dog. They made the experience much less stressful. Dr. Shih then explained in detail her findings and really helped to ease my mind.

I was able to make an appt for the following week following my cats er visit. Other cardiologist were booked for months. Everytime I called with questions front desk was compassionate and eager to reassure or try as best to answer my questions. The doctor was kind but thorough. And explained everything in depth. My cat Spock is very important to me and I feel his best interest is with cvca.
