Carrolltown Veterinary Hospital Sykesville, Maryland

I have been taking my cats and dogs here for over 20 years. The staff has always been fantastic, personable and kind. They care so much that they were in tears when we had to say goodbye to our pets. The vet even called me with condolences after we made that decision at an ER and not in their office. My puppy loves going there and always gets excited when we get to the parking lot. I will continue to take my babies here as long as we live here!

My dog loves coming her! Even when the assistants aren’t working with her they make a point to come say hi to her. They are a bit costly, but as long as they take care of our baby I’m willing to pay the price

Have been taking our dog here since she was a puppy. She got sick earlier in the year and the vet seemed to have no idea what was happening and prescribed us expensive medicine and food that never worked. Wasted so much time and money watching our dog deteriorate. The last thing they told us was to go spend even more money on a test that would probably come back inconclusive. Unwilling to do that, we found a new vet and got a diagnosis after our first visit that saved our dog's life. We also have had issues with the front desk staff being short and rude on the phone when we had questions.

They were extremely nice and helpful. Very caring. Dr. Kim Cross acted and treated us like we were good friends and we had just met her for the first time today. Dr. Kim Cross was very sweet and told us exactly what was best for our cat, Mia Quesenberry. The front staff and her assistants were kind, gentle and very caring. I highly recommend them to everyone. My dogs have had multiple good experiences here. When there was an emergency they were able to get my dog in the same day and take care of her.

I am only reviewing on this because there is a fake account named (Shu A) posting on multiple Vets in the area over the last few years. I have attached the screenshots where you can see he has lied about each of these vets not taking in a dog hit by a car and of course he threw in a promotion for Sykesville Vet saying they were happy to take the dog in.

Obviously they only care if they gotten your money in the past. Would not help when we found a dog hit on the side of the road. Sykesville Vet took this poor dog in immediately.

Dr. Reidy definitely saved my 14 year old cats life who was very sick! So grateful to her. ❤️

Best staff and vets in town. Always give my dogs and cat 5 star care. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The front staff can't be beat and the ladies that help the vets are top notch. Wouldn't trust my pets to any other vets.
