They took great care of out 14 1/2 year old golden retriever. They even sent us photos at night before bed.

DO NOT GO TO OLDE TOWNE PET RESORT!! We took our Ellie Mae for a grooming which includes a bath, eat cleaning and nail clipping. Every time we make a appointment we ensure the staff is aware of her high anxiety. When we arrived to pick her up she was limping with a bloody paw with a cut. Further her nails were trimmed to far down. She is clearly in pain crying, licking, and panting. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AS A SAFE PLACE FOR YOUR ANIMALS. We called to discuss the incident and we received a lack of sympathetic response. Needless to say we will be finding another pet resort.

Friendly workers but services are not worth what you pay. Way over priced for limited outdoor time for the pups. Sad to see.

The best, by far, that I have seen. Head and shoulders above all others. Of course the price is higher. I reserved.

This review reflects my experience with Kristen Jones Trainer & CGC Evaluator at OTPR (Springfield) for the Stay & Train. Kristen was very responsive to call for the evaluation on 11 July 21 however, everything went downhill after that. I emailed her the same day after the evaluation and got no response until I made a complaint about her a few days later. I boarded my babies Angel & Aaron on 11 July 21 and Kristen was to begin training on 13 July 21. I emailed her with a question after the consultation and got no response. She called me on 13 July 21 to tell me that she had trained my babies and would send pictures and a video the same day however, I got nothing. I emailed her after that call and again, no response. As a result of the aforementioned, I felt it necessary to watch my babies on the video camera in their room the next day, 14 July 21 and NOT to my surprise given the initial inconsistencies, I found that Kristen had MERELY taking my babies out for a 15 min "training session" however, the cost of training was $200 per pet, per day for 1.5-hour sessions each. Upon my calling to complain about the lack of training they were receiving, I promptly received a text from Kristen stating among other things "I have also been keep in the sessions relatively short to ensure they are having fun because they tend to get overwhelmed with the longer sessions". This was ONLY the 2nd session and she had already decided to "keep them relatively short".... when would she inform me? If she had to "keep the sessions relatively short" when would the sessions be made up to total 1.5 hours per day?... Just as I shared with her during the consultation, my babies had already completed both beginner and advance training thru other services, so they were not a stranger to training, I was merely looking to enhance their knowledge and possibly include some new skills. My babies had already received a total of 16 training sessions in which they all were over 1 hour long per session so her decision to train my babies for only 15 mins a day was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for a total of $400 a day. The services, inconsistencies, and lack of candor of Kristen Jones Trainer & CGC Evaluator at OTPR (Springfield) did not work for me and as a result, I found it necessary to promptly pick up my babies and to share this information with others. This review is NOT a reflection of Maria, Fernando, Albert, and the other staff at OTPR (Springfield) who had provided us with 5-star service given a situation that occurred with Aaron during Day Camp and even afterwards given the unprofessionalism of Kristen. Unfortunately, as a result of Kristen's overall actions, I cannot in good faith or conscience return to OTPR. Respectfully I am. Natalie.

Love this place! I trust them with my fur baby for grooming, day camp, training and boarding.

VIP treatment for our furbabies.

This place was recommended by a friend who has been coming here for years and has had a wonderful experience. The first time I also had a great experience. The last two times no so much. My dog resists the groomer when it's time to take him back. He has never done this before at other places. The from desk clerk was very curt and not friendly at all. Both times I picked him up the groomer didn't say a word to me. Just handed me my pup and sent me on my way. I'm owed to getting a little report, like he did great out he didn't like the dryer. Something... but no. So this will be my last time bringing him here.

Friendly, experienced staff and a nice facility.

I've always liked this place, but on my most recent visit I noticed the smell of urine at the Springfield location is OVERWHELMING.

My family trusts this place with our guy and he loves it. He gets excited every time he sees the building, and that tells me everything I need to know about his experience there. We discovered it during the pandemic and we plan to use it for a long time. We use the play camp 1-3 times per week The facility is nice and the staff are actual, living, breathing pet lovers. Not once have I ever felt like someone was indifferent about being there. I can't say enough great things about this place. They allow me to have a wildly happy well socialized dog that's ready to sleep at the end of the day.

Poor management, much better places out there to take your pups.

While checking my dog in for boarding, the lobby was very loud. I could barely hear the girl (who was very soft spoken) over two employees that were very loudly speaking to other customers. It didn't help that one customer was very loud too and I know the masks don't help. They should have understood when I kept looking at them and then getting closer to the poor girl I couldn't hear. My dog is a bit anxious getting dropped off anyway and I'm afraid this didn't help her either. Other than this incident I've never had a bad experience at OTPR.

The NYC - Long Island area have some great pet facilities. However, Olde Towne Pet Resort is the best!

Great staff, doggy day care, and boarding. If you board with them they give your dog a bath on the last day.

It was a nice place and nice and clean and the worker was friendly and helpful

Staff is courteous and professional. The premises are clean and the pets well cared for. Individual webcams enable owners to view their pets 24/7.

Our cats are better animals for having stayed here. If you need a reasonably priced, swanky hotel for your pets, please visit this establishment.

Fantastic grooming and pet care.

It was awesome! The staff was so nice & professional. The rooms were large & clean. They had amenities(pool, gym, breakfast)The price was very inexpensive. My family & truly enjoyed it.

They are very professional and friendly, they took the time to send me photos thru messages of my beautiful boy Rocco. They made me feel secure of leaving him with them, when I picked him up he was happy. By the look of his eyes I could tell he had an awesome time, if I could give them 100 stars I would. Also the prices are very affordable.

I never write reviews but here we are.I booked a stay for my dog Penny for this past weekend in their five star suite after seeing all the good reviews and was dumbfounded by what I observed through the webcam. My dog is a german shepherd and I had done the 5 star suite so she could get 40 minutes of playtime, she is used to getting an hour so I wanted her stay to be comfortable. I paid the early check in fee to check in on 11 Friday morning. I was going to be on the road most of the day so decided I'd keep the webcam up because I was nervous. For her entire stay Friday, she was not given any playtime. She was given 3 walks that totaled around 4-5 mins which is not enough time for a dog to use the bathroom. I emailed them that night and let them know about this and the second day was a little better but not much better. The playtimes still weren't carried to the promise time of 20 mins, I timed them myself and they were around 12-15 mins. They also did not follow my feeding instructions, they had it right in the system but had not copied them properly over to the contract. I was worried about leaving my dog at a resort and they proved my worries exactly. She came back and pooped three times in three hours after not getting enough time to use the bathroom all weekend. I will be taking my business else where, I did not get my moneys worth and my dog did not get the attention I had paid for. Thank god it was 50% off because this service is not worth $110.

I think my dog enjoyed it. I asked "how was it", but only got nose art on my glasses. Great prices (discount for pandemic) but price after this is still worth it. The "royal we" are impressed and will stay again. Next time with a suite/camera. Great staff and lots of love for the doggos!!!
