I've been taking both of my dogs here for many years. We've seen several vets and they all have been wonderful. They truly do seem to care about the animals they treat. Would definitely recommend for your pet's care.

Dr Kelly took good care of my cats and dog when I was retiring and on a fixed income. The whole staff is caring and compassionate and gentle with my pets. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I would highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital. The whole team is awesome. When we first moved here, we went to another vet but we were not very satisfied. Upon doing reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I will definitely be using Dr. Kelly from now on!

I can’t say enough about the caring vets and staff there. My older labrador got very sick over the holiday weekend and I had to take him to the vet emergency center. I made an appointment with Dr. Kelly following Tuesday and she was waiting for us when we arrived and had reviewed all of his records over the weekend. She’s so deeply cares about our dog that she scheduled surgery the next morning and my labrador is healing and doing better. Everyone there truly loves animals and they’re there to give you the best care possible for your beloved pet. They also have reasonable fees and don’t feel gouged after an appointment. Highly recommend this place.

I want to give them more stars because their service is generally good quality and the staff is nice, but they are way over priced for the care they provide. In my 3 most recent visits, they have taken both my pets inside without me due to COVID (understandable), but they spend no more than 10 minutes inside the building before they call me with my pet ready to go after either a “comprehensive exam” or diagnosing them with a problem. And then charge me $80 for an office visit!! $80 for less than 10 minutes! This last visit they spent 6 minutes with my dog and in that time took him in, diagnosed him with a sinus infection, and called me and told me to give them 5 minutes and they’d have his meds and him ready to go. I can’t continue to justify spending $80 for a less than 10 minute office visit. I’ll be looking elsewhere for that reason unfortunately. **I’d like to amend my review based on Ms. Matthews’ response. The quality of care was generally very good. And the speed at which they treat my pets is fine considering her comments. The problem is charging an $80 office visit for that amount of time. Here’s hoping another vet is more reasonable with their prices for the very brief visits ????????**

Dr. Kelly is an amazing person and vet. I say that because she understands that when she's caring for our dogs she is also caring for our pack. When we bring in our pups in distress we tend to be in distress Dr. Kelly knows that. I love how she goes into this us against the what ever is hurting the pup mode, which is very reassuring. Above all she listens she understands that we know our pups better than anyone. Once she has listened she formulates a game plan of what steps she'd like to take and asks for my input. We'll either proceed or make an adjustment to the plan and move forward. Thank you Dr. Kelly !!

The office staff and doctors took such amazing care of my fur baby! I'm new to the area and so glad that I found this vet! They have a patient for life!!

I think Dr. Kelly honest-to-god cares about her clients and patients. Never in my life have I interacted with a more invested, caring, and loving veterinary professional. Veterinarians and Veterinary practices like hers are one in a million. I am so grateful we found her.

Dr. Kelly is in the best vets I have ever had she has cared for 6 dogs in our family and has always been there in our time of need no matter what. Dr Dove Is working with Breeder I got a severely ill Great Dane pup from. They have communicated with my Vet with out my approval. It’s been a month since I gave a Vet report to Breeder showing the dog is sick .I requested medical records and the hip certification the Breeder said Dr Dove did from both parties.I have not received anything. I was told by several sources that this is a big scam with Great Dane Breeders. They say it’s normal they will grow out of it.No this female is struggling it’s hard to watch. If she was the quality I thought I was buying. I would sell her if I choose not return to Breeder for a refund. I seem to be the only one concerned about dogs health. From the information I received from the Breeder about dr Dove I would give a 0 a F there is not a score low enough for this type of behavior. This is not the reviews I read that made me decide to get the Great Danes. “Fool me once once fooled can’t be fooled again”.

Staff that cares and goes the extra mile for you and your pets

I had to take my dog in yesterday for GI upset. I had never been to this vet before, but a neighbor recommended them. Everyone who works there was so patient and kind. Victor, tech, handled our dog with compassion and patience. Dr. Kelly was great as well. Best part, I’m not sick from being overcharged! The previous vet we went to would have charged double and the staff is not welcoming or comforting!

They take excellent care of our girls. The staff is always very caring and they are reasonably priced with policies that make sense. My last vet made is pay for an office visit for everything. Here once you're an established client they will answer questions over the phone if applicable for the condition.

We've been going here for 3 years. They take great care of their clients and patients. They've helped us find a way to manage my dogs thunder anxiety that is working. They keep their prices reasonable

We have had three of our pets as patients here and we have ZERO complaints! When we need a pet to be seen, they make sure they get us in. If one of us (myself or my husband) can't be at the appointment, they have no problem having us on Skype to answer any questions we might have. They run tests promptly, get results back to us as quickly as possible, and love on our pets as if they were their own. They don't believe in muzzling or restraining, unless it's an absolute last resort, and our pets have never been nervous around any of the vets or vet techs, because they know the staff is there to take care of them. If you are in the Springfield area and are in need of a.vet, you cannot go wrong with Companion Animal Hospital.....tell them Hayden the Corgi and Luna the Cat sent you! They give Companion 8 paws up!!????????????????

They really care. Always provide multiple options for care. They have never made me feel rushed. Always spend time to help you understand the best way to help your animal. Dr Kelly is awesome.

I found Companion to have the most reasonable pricing in NOVA, and the most adamant adherence to a patient schedule. Most vets overbook and I got sick of sitting in waiting rooms with a pet for 30 mins past my appointment time. I never have to wait at Companion. If they do have to overlap a bit, at least I am put in a patient room, not fighting my dog going after other patients. This goes a very long way for me to be a repeat customer. They have always seen me ASAP when we have had an emergency. They have a country vet feel in a big city. A+.

These are the most compassionate veterinarians in the northern Virginia area. All my pets feel comfortable and welcome at Companion. My Service Dog loves to just stop in to visit whenever I am running errands in their shopping center. The staff enjoys seeing her both when we visit as well as when we're in for an appointment. Thanks for taking all the stress away from my fur-babies.

Dr. Kelly is an amazing vet who is caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. She and her team are friendly, responsive and professional. Dr. Kelly diagnosed my border collie mix dog with cancer. Her goal was to get him the best treatment possible for his situation, even if that meant going elsewhere. She cares so very deeply, and in no way have I ever felt it the hospital was in it for the money. We love Dr. Kelly and her crew!!

Dr. Kelley is patient, informative, comprehensive, caring, and tuned in with the furry patient's needs and their human companion. I love that she keeps cats in her office too lounging on cushions in the sun. If every business cared for indoor pets, many more people would want to visit their offices. I always recommend Dr. Kelley to anyone who is looking for a very good vet.

I take my 3 year old golden doodle to this place. He gets his annual exams and whenever he's sick, this is the only place where we'll go. Dr. Kelly is amazing. My dog loves her and I do too. The entire staff is great too ... super friendly. They're all very attentive and responsive.

I want to thank Companion Animal Hospital for being so caring, they have a group of wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure our dog's needs are met. My husband and I have been taking our dogs there for 20 years and all our experiences are great. They took care of our first baby Julie for many years; after Julie, we had Nina who had also excellent care there for over 12 years, and now we have Kelsy, all German Shepherds. Kelsy is still a young girl, only 3 years old but we wanted to make sure that she would have the same loving care that her big sisters had, so Kelsi goes to Companion Animal Hospital too. Dr. Kelly and the other doctors are very nice and friendly, they treat all their patients and their pet parents with respect and dignity and answer any question that we might have. On December 2, 2017, our dog of 11 years, Cloud, died. Dr. Jennifer Kelly of Companion Animal hospital was her vet, and she and the staff were great. But what is beyond words is how she came to the house to put Cloud into a sleep and then stop her heart. She was professional, but compassionate and sensitive -- everything I could have possibly wanted. Cloud was in good hands all through her life, and because of Dr. Kelly, until her last breath. I will always, always be grateful to her. This is a great practice. Love it. We have two cats who still go there and I'm positive we will get another dog which will be welcomed into the practice. Dr Lemke left the clinic, but she and Dr Kelly treated my dogs for years. Dr Kelly is very compassionate and goes the extra mile to make you feel great about bringing your pet there.
