Dr. Chen and our LVT, Brittany, were absolutely incredible. So knowledgeable and patient with us as we talked through all aspects of our pet's diagnosis. We left feeling informed and like we had a plan in place for the present and future. Aftercare instructions were given and easy to understand.

Very nice staff. Pleasant and thorough. They have a good process for curbside and are great with communication so that if you are waiting you know what the next step will be. Great to see a focus on process! This makes it easier to trust our pet is in great hands.

Dr who gave us prognosis could not communicate well and seemed very unprofessional. They overcharge for procedures, and I have insurance, so didn't have to pay the entire bill. Then, a week later, they "forgot" to charge me for lab tests, after I signed the estimate and paid the original amount, they made up some exorbitant price for the "forgotten" line item, which I had no choice but to pay, watch out for these jerks!

This group used to be wonderful.... We had been trying to reach Dr Barker since our dog had 4 seizures on Monday night. He has been a patient their for 9 years.... We called repeatedly and have not been contacted.

Dr. Rivera and the team at Bush Neurology are the best! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and really loving and caring for our dog with epilepsy.

Staff was very friendly. That translated over the phone, being I couldn't accompany Lewie inside for his appointment. The doctor communicated very clearly with me and addressed all of my concerns. Staff helped when I had trouble filling his prescription

The whole team put what was a very stressful situation, into something that is manageable. Dr Chen was knowledgeable and listened to my pups history and explained what was happening and what to expect. She reassured me that my dog is their patient now and they are in lock step with me and her treatment. They gave me a clear plan of action with someone to call if I had concerns or questions regarding her epilepsy. Having them assist with her treatment plan takes a lot of pressure off of me.

This was the first time we visited BVNS. We actually had an appointment for several weeks from the date of our visit, but my dog ended up having a seizure that morning so BVNS and the emergency room staff at the Regional Vet Referral Center worked together to get my dog cared for by both departments. BVNS did not have to make time for us that day, but I am very grateful that they did and that they took great care of My dog and were patient with my many questions. Communication was very good. It's stressful that humans can't accompany pets due to covid, so I appreciate the multiple phone calls and updates.

Everyone from the tech to the doctor and the front desk people were great, very caring and compassionate. honestly it was everything from the compassionate care to explaining the situation to helping formulate a plan and followup timeline going forward.

Dr. Barker and the rest of the staff were great, and I appreciated being able to get my dog taken care of so promptly. So far I have no complaints. I was able to get an appointment the morning I called, followed by an MRI and surgery the same day. Dr. Barker was great and seemed genuinely concerned with my pet. Additionally, Marie (receptionist) at the Leesburg location was absolutely wonderful, and instrumental in getting me an appointment at Springfield.

Brought my dog 3 hours away for them to charge me $275 for a consultation fee that took them 15 minutes to tell me they dont do the procedure I asked for. Would never bring my animal here again! The worst.

I took my dog to the Leesburg practice and the consult was good but the follow up care has been horrendous. The doctor gave a short prescription pending bloodwork. Once bloodwork was complete they refused to call me back to discuss. The problem is that the doctors rotate between practices and so the receptionists and techs had no idea which practice the doctor was at or how to contact. I’ve had to call this location and the Leesburg location over 8 times in the last week in attempts to reach the doctor for a refill of my dogs seizure meds. It is very important he continues his meds and these doctors are preventing him from getting proper treatment on, makes me wonder what I spent my money on. If you want someone that cares about your pet the way you do, this is not the place for you.

Brittney takes good care of my dog and Ashley Bensfield has helped manage her seizures. I highly recommend Bush.

doc bensfield is the worst not only i discovered she never seen my dog in person but also learned that she prescribed medication for my dog without actually seeing any blood results, then they also trying to charge you $200 more for the same work saying that they missed some charges out of nowhere for the past 5 months.. done with Bush and Bensfield, and my dog cant even walk anymore so far

My cat had been having some episodes, and I am so glad I was referred here. Everyone including the woman answering my phone calls, the vet tech, and the doctor was incredibly kind and helpful. I was stressed out about everything going on with my cat, but the doctor took her time explaining everything and answering all my questions in great detail. She was very personable, and I never felt like I was just a box to be checked off her schedule. I got real answers and a treatment plan for the first time in months.

This was our first visit to BVNS and everyone was very friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. Our doctor and staff were so on top of communicating with us and spoke to us so that we could understand- not just "vet jargon". I would definitely refer to BVNS and would return to BVNS if needed. Thank you to everyone who helped Archie! He certainly made some new friends!

The staff was incredibly friendly, and very knowledgeable. A bonus was they didn't think we were crazy for bringing our dog to a neurologist!

We have had the best experience with Dr. Barker and her entire staff at Bush. Everybody is incredibly caring and Dr. Barker goes out of her way to email us anytime we have questions--- and we have lots! Nothing is scarier than your pet getting ill with neurological issues. Dr. Barker has helped put our mind at ease with open and constant communication, as well as a plan for our dog. It is totally worth the drive for us to go there.

We have had nothing but the best service at BVNS Springfield. Every single staff person we have come in contact with has been professional and helpful. They have been available to answer our questions day or night and when they are out of the office, someone has followed up immediately.

While unfortunate circumstances brought us to BVNS, I cannot speak more highly of the staff's professionalism and more importantly, compassion during what can be a difficult time with difficult decisions ahead. They are top notch.
