Dr. Disha Pant is the worst veterinarian I have ever met. But she must be the best salesperson in the location. Every time I bring my cat there, she tricks me into doing a bunch of useless checks.

Thor is well taken care of and loved by all!

Do you really trust anyone with your pet?

My dog had few bumps. They never mentioned about it nor checked the type. Also the staff was very unfriendly.

This is the worst vet hospital to take your animal to. They're very unprofessional and very rude. They do not care about the animals at all or their customer service. I would give them less than one star if I was able to.

I love the Calvert location and most importantly my puppy does too. He hates the Bandfield in Olney MD and so do I

I took my pup in to be seen very rude and unprofessional staff. Do not believe the new reviews search further back to the ones they cover up. I am not the first. Vets have no knowledge of pets they google and send you home with a bill. Some lady called today to apologize for how poor they treated my pup and then hung up when I asked her name. Save your money and time trust me. There are more qualified vets in the area.

I’ve been there so many times to check up on my pup, everyone there is very friendly and patient. It’s unfortunate that there’s a lot of slander in the reviews but I’ve never had an issue, it might be the fact that I’m not crazy and I don’t lack common sense but all of the staff are always very professional.

After putting off getting our dogs teeth we finally caved based on the push from Banfield. We picked up our dog after being with the vet all day. She cried for two days and on the third day we cam home to poop all over our basement. When we called to follow up, the vet tech said “yes, this is possible as a side effect”. What?! No one told us. We weren’t watching the dog close enough for almost three days. Our dog is now dehydrated and has the worst upset stomach. I understand this is in the discharge paperwork but I feel the vet was negligent not to warn us or make us aware we should watch for signs.

They are very clean and polite. we had a situation with my dog's plan but they helped to get it fixed. Now we good.

Staff here is like any other retail place. They help when they want but won't go out of their way for you , but then again can you really blame them.

I like Banfield because of how friendly all the staff members are and how informative they are and also because my puppy loves it. I feel like they make everything easy and smooth, never had any issues.

Took my dog in for a skin irritation, they didn't even take a skin sample. Just medicated my dog with two differing medications. When I asked what's wrong with my dog they literally said they didn't know. Then proceeded to request payment...Banfield is a money grab, they wont even try to heal your pet or do their job, but will quickly bill you for the nothing that they do.

They take great care of my dog. The last time my dog was there they were able to treat the situation and gave us information on the issue. This place is clean, they have great hours and Their option to drop off my dogs make it easier for me.

Banfield staff and doctors has provided excellent care for my pet. Yesterday I had to say good bye to Schweppes. Dr. Anthony and her staff went above and beyond during our last couple visit and comforting on the last day. Thank you Banfield Calverton. I will definitely choose your care for my next pet.

Great customer service and kind staff

I wish I could not give any stars. This is the worse vet office I ever been to I been having the same issue for 2 years now and it never gets fix I'm just asked to keep paying money for thing that the vet think will work when I know my pet and I know what work. She breaks out with this same skin rash twice a year and its only one med that clears it up but every time I take her they always make me buy a lot of other meds that don't help then I force at the end to buy the one that works. Its like they are out to get money the see we have the wellness plan but the keeps charging us for other thing. I have over $400 of stuff they made me buy over the last 2 years that just doesn't work. I been calling this office for two weeks now and still haven't got a return call about the med she needs they just keep saying well that doctor doesn't work at this location which is not on me because this is the only location I bring her to. When I called today they told me its a new doctor and that he will have to see her first I told them that I don't want her in a cage all day just to have her looked at for 5 min I explained that I can bring her in after 4 and wait for her they told me no then told me they don't have any Saturday appointment until the last week in August I then ask to speak to a manager the girl stephine told me she is out on leave which is crazy because there should always be someone there to help with any problems. I have called to try to track down both doctor at their other location and the last person that gave her these meds is on PT and won't be back for a couple of weeks and all my dogs hair will be gone by then. Stephine should not be answering the phone there she is the worse and her communication skills needs work and she needs more training
