Awesome is all I can say

The most amazing vet office ever. There isn’t a single vet, tech, or receptionist at this office that I don’t trust completely with my furry family members. I have had bad experiences at other vets, especially during COVID when I wasn’t able to go in with my pets, but I feel completely at ease with Severna Park vet staff. One of my dogs gets nervous with new people, and took a lot of coaxing to go into my previous vet office. When I first brought him here, they were very understanding and patient with him and now he goes inside very happily! We’ve had a few small emergencies over the years and they were so accommodating and helpful during those times. So thankful for them!!

I have been going here for 30+ years. The atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly and caring. The doctors and assistants have great "bedside manner" and they care for both the pets and their owners. They always take time to explain what is going on. I recently took my Big Guy in for a couple of specific problems. They listened carefully, then methodically checked for all possible causes. The whole experience was very professional.

SP Vet Hospital has been absolutely wonderful when we’ve been in a pinch with our dog Bean. We’ve taken him there twice now and both times they have been incredibly compassionate and helpful in getting him in very quickly (same day). They are so good with our fur baby and very detailed in explaining all procedures and services, they answer any questions or concerns you may have. Pricing is very fair as well. I highly recommend them.

Kind staff but quite pricey for even the slightest of questions/concerns. We are military and move a lot so this isn't our 1 or 2nd vet, it is like 5 so I know an average cost in many states and they are far above it.. Won't be relying on them for more than annual required vaccines. Also Parking really is an issue, wish it had an exit option vs the 11 point turn you currently have to make

I love this veterinary practice! I just took Harley and Blade in for their annual exam and vaccines. Dr. Jessica Heard spent a lot of time talking with me about them. During the Pandemic, their curbside procedures were great! I can’t say enough positive things. You will be happy to take your pet here. Kathi Foley

Love that I'm able to take my fur baby here

Had a good experience 3 years ago, but lately this place leaves a lot to be desired. Front staff lied to the doctor about what we said over the phone. Will not be going back.

Everyone in this practice I have worked with from Dr.Heard, front desk staff to office mgr are the best. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and responsive. Highly recommend SPVH.

They were absolute life savers!! They were able to see my cat last minute and were truly helpful and professional. The front desk staff, technician and vet were all very nice and helpful. Will be bringing both my cats here in the future. Thank you all so much for relieving the stressful night I was having.

We have been clients for years and wouldn't trust anyone else with our furry babies! The staff and vets at SPVH are fantastic! Dr. Heard is a wonderful veterinarian, and treats my pets as if they were her own. The front desk staff are always kind and responsive!

The staff are warm, welcoming, and professional. I love that they have online services and reminders. It's very convenient. The best part is they always take good care of my fur babies!

Having worked there for 6 months, during COVID, I can attest to the knowledge, compassion, efficiency, and care of the entire staff. I have worked with, and for, veterinarians for the last 15 years and I have never worked with a better practice! I’ve also been an animal owner for over 40 years and I would never take my pets anywhere else! Everyone there cares deeply about what they’re doing. You can trust this practice 100% to do what is best for your animal. The Veterinarians, Dr. Heard, Dr. Storm, and Dr. Reichenbach are top notch and consult with each other and other experts in the field. We recently lost our old dog, Zoe. The care she received during her decline was excellent and compassionate. And the sympathy card we received was so moving we will keep it forever. We are now the proud owners of a new rescue puppy and he had a wonderful first visit! I cannot recommend Severna Park Veterinary Hospital and their staff highly enough!

This was our first visit to Severna Park Veterinary Hospital unfortunately for an X-ray for our dog, Danni who was having some trouble. Dr. Storm and staff were very compassionate and kind even though they had to deliver the sad news that are sweet Danni had cancer, confirmed with X-ray and ultrasound. The COVID-19 protocol they followed was efficient and hard to send your sick dog in with only a tech but, she came back out happy. Our sweet Danni passed away a few days later. We thank Dr. Storm and will refer other pet owners.

The staff is incredibly friendly, respectful, and well informed. They were able to squeeze me and my dog in, get lab results, and book her for surgery in just a few days; much faster than other vets I have been to. Their aftercare calls are a very welcome addition.

Drs. Heard and Storm are awesome. Everyone who works here truly cares for the animals.

Expensive!!! But they did a great job with our fur baby after she got into food she shouldn't have eaten that needed to be removed.

This office was extremely helpful while I was here from out of town. My dog had an emergency and they quickly got him in, treated him, and followed up with me. The staff and vet were both very friendly and professional. Thank you!!

I grew up in severna park and have a 16 year old cat and a 9 year old cat, both of whom we took to SP vet when I lived in Maryland (even when I lived in Howard county!) I moved out of state for 6 years and when I moved back to the area, I started right back up taking all my pets, including the dog I now have, to SP vet. The staff is super friendly and helpful. All the veterinarians we have seen there are great but my favorite is Dr. Reichenbach! I don’t usually request vets but after my last few experiences with him, I will be requesting him specifically! My pets don’t absolutely despise going to the vet so I guess that’s a good sign! I don’t have a ton of experience to compare the prices to, but I am never sticker shocked by the bill. It always seems reasonable to me and about what I expect. They’re also very upfront about the costs and give recommendations on how to save in other ways (ie: nexgaurd purchasing), or what is an immediate need and what can wait.

Great Vet! Dr. Heard went out of her way to help us take care of our dog during a very difficult time and on a weekend. She was patient and caring. We very much appreciated her personal touch and we highly recommend Severna Park Veterinary Hospital.

My Chihuahua got very sick one night and had lost a lot of weight, couldn't keep any food down, etc. I had never used SPVH before but they are the closest vet to the home I just moved into and they saw my pup within 2 hours of me calling in the morning. Amazing! Everyone was so kind and wonderful. The price was extremely affordable, especially for the area. I even got a hand-written card in the mail AND a phone call following up on my dog within the week afterward, in which they gave well wishes and thanked me for my visit with them. Such friendly staff, clean environment, professional advice, expert care. Love everything about this place! Even recommended them to my mom and she has already brought her Cirneco dell'Etna in for an appointment - she was just as pleased! So happy to have SPVH as my new vet. :)
