Very friendly staff. My dog got neutered here for a very inexpensive price. Also got a microchip and nail trimming. I would definitely recommend this place. The veterinarian clinic will charge you triple and probably not even do as good.

Had my dog spayed & microchipped here, they were really quick, answered any questions we had, were very communicative about the surgery and pick up availability. My dog's surgery went very well & has healed really well, my dog is a happy pup

When I visit this place, you can tell the animals are well taken care of. They look comfortable and well-fed. Staff is very pleasant.

Today I donated gently used towels and sheets. I was able to leave my donation on their table outside during their regular business hours. I was thanked through the door although unexpected, it was nice.

The experience with the workers was really nice but when was supposed to make the application for the dog I couldn’t because one of my family members was 1 year younger that should be and I couldn’t adopt the dog. He would have a nice family but because of that many rules the dog loses opportunity because there are many rules and policy to adopt the dog.

My husband and I were extremely excited when the puppies for adoption posted. I immediately called the shelter to ask if the dog we wanted to adopt had any applications and we were informed that he did not. I immediately submitted my application and then called back to see if I could meet the puppy since there were no other applications. The person on the phone seemed aggravated that I had called again and told me I would need to wait until my application was processed. I refreshed my email and checked my phone all day waiting to hear about our application. Finally around 3pm we called and were informed that the dog had already been adopted and that it was first come first serve. We explained that we were very confused because when we submitted our application we were told there were no others. This was a very disappointing experience for us.

The MCHS truly care about animals they are great people and care about their impact on all animals. I would recommend the MCHS to anyone.
