Dr. Lucas and the staff are the best. They genuinely care about our dogs and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommend.

I have been searching for a new vet since my vet retired. I've been to a few different vets in the last year or 2 and haven't had much success until I found Dr. Lucas. Staff is very friendly which has always been an issue at all other vets. They actually seem to care and are very nice and professional. Dr. Lucas legitimately makes me feel like my dog is his own and he really cares about him. He takes his time, I never feel rushed, he explains everything thoroughly and is empathetic to my concerns. I brought Teddy Bear in for some lumps and him being lethargic. He is knowledgeable and make sure he is acting fast and approaches everything with the urgency needed to make sure we're taking all necessary steps to get Teddy healthy again. He makes himself available after hours and the office is open 7 days a week. He's quite possibly the best vet I've ever been to. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, I will be using him for all of my other pets going forward.

Dr. Lucas has provided excellent care for my three family dogs over the last 20 years. I'm now adopting a senior dog that will be cared for by Dr. Lucas also. Best vet in Owings Mills????

Great friendly staff and caring vet. They make you feel that your pet is part of their family. This is so important since we are usually anxious and concerned about our pets when going into the vets office, to begin with.

The website shows they specialize in eye care but when I call, I am told that they don't. This is laziness on their end and needs to be fixed. Also, the referral they sent me to has horrible reviews.

Made an appointment for a young iguana that had a back injury. Dr Lucas came in and examined the situation and just spewed information of little relevance before suggesting an x-ray. He failed to mention anything associated with the cost of his suggested procedures. After about 10-15 minutes he comes back and says that the iguana was too small to properly perform an x-ray. In the end he wasted over an hour of my time, charged me over 200 dollars and did nothing to help my pet. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE

Any vet who sheds tears at the passing of an animal is unique and rare. His time and dedication to his clients needs can never be matched. Such unbelievable compassion is daily demonstrated and the staff is the best. He will even show up at a funeral for an animals deceased owner. Dr. Lucas is the best at what he does, loving and treating animals. He will never over charge and will never suggest unwarranted procedures. Extremely patient with even the most bothersome and craziest of clients. He is the best in the business

I’ve been bringing my pets to Dr Lucas and his loving staff for over 20 years now. I’ve even referred family and friends to this practice including my mother. My moms dog Gizmo (Gizzy) was 17 yrs old when he had to be laid to rest, was also a patient of TLC. Gizzy and my mom had The BEST CARE from Dr Lucas that he could’ve ever received. All the staff were sincere and heartfelt from 9 weeks old till 17 years old. You want the best care for your dog or pet just as one would with their children and TLC For Pets is that place.

I been coming here since 2013. I selected TLC for pets because they care for Guinea pigs and I had 6. Later on after they passed away due to old age, I got a dog. And Dr. Lucas is and has been wonderful. Always accommodating. Puts his heart into the animals as if they were his own. I came in yesterday just for my dog Onyx to get her nails trimmed only. I looked down noticed that she had been scratching her ear and it was red. I asked 1 of the techs if Dr. Lucas could possibly see her while we were there and he fit her in. We didn't have to even wait 5 minutes. This is just 1 of the ways he has been so helpful and caring. Last year I moved to Arizona and ran out of Fluoxetine for my dog, couldn't afford a vet at the time and Dr. Lucas helped me get the medicine. I would recommend this place to all pet parents that want the best for their fur babies.

This is the best vet hospital in the area, bar none. I have taken my cats and exotic pets to Dr. Lucas and he is always super thorough, honest, and we'll priced. I moved out of Owings Mills and I still drive 45 minutes + to use this vet. Can not recommend enough.
