Mountainside Veterinary Hospital Reisterstown, Maryland

My dogs have been treated by the veterinarians at Mountainside for the past 20 years or so. Our dogs always receive excellent care and treatment. Also, they always take the time to answer any questions we have and present an alternatives that may be available.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Eidel at Mountainside for approximately eighteen years and have found her and the staff to be caring, knowledgeable and when needed, compassionate. It is with much appreciation and gratitude that I highly recommend Mountainside Veterinary Hospital.

We've been bring our dogs here for several years, even after moving out of the area. Unfortunately, today was our last visit. The vets here are amazing - they've always been professional and extremely accommodating with our difficult schedules and unexpected emergencies. I can't say a single bad thing about them, and am honestly sad to be switching. The staff here can be hit or miss - some of them are great, but some of them are unprofessional. We've asked them to change the primary phone number on our account multiple times prior to today. I showed up this morning for an appointment, and they had apparently left multiple voicemails (with the wrong phone number) canceling the appointment. Mistakes happen, it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Mannes was kind enough to squeeze us in anyway. While I waited for them to bring my dog back out, I heard the staff in the back hallway mocking me about not getting the voicemails. They clearly didn't realize I could hear them. I don't particularly like paying to be made fun of, so we won't be back.

The veterinarian took great care to explain all the issues related to our dog's ear infections. We fully trust Mountainside with our precious ball of fur.

The care and expertise at Mountainside is the best! Our first dog lived to the age of 18 and our second is now 16 1/2 and Mountainside has been the perfect partner in the care of our dogs. I would highly recommend!

Doctor Mannes and the entire staff are friendly, professional, and very responsive caregivers. I have been taking my Golden Retrievers to Mountainside for over 30 years and always will. It's worth the extra miles.

Dr Manus has been my vet since he graduated in the 1980’s, and has taken care of my cat and dogs with wisdom and compassion. I’ve met a number of the other vets in the practice, and they are uniformly wonderful!

Called for an emergency appointment for my pet at 8:30 am and was seen by noon on the same day. Vet and tech both were very gentle with my dog who had injured her neck. Have used Mountainside for over 30 years starting when Dr. Ron was one of the best vets around.
