I’ve only been to Dr. Rider twice since adopting my kitten. During the first visit he saw I had my hands full and brought my cat in his carrier into the exam room and the wonderful ladies at the front desk offered to bring my kitten out to my car for me. The follow up visit for my kitten’s abscess was free of charge, which was much appreciated particularly surrounding a holiday season. Dr. Rider is more warm and inviting then any other vet I’ve taken my pets to in Salem county. Highly recommend!!

*Update ..just had our follow up and still very happy here. Thank you!!! we'll bring our new kitten Gator when he is old enough** Very happy with this vet. The receptionist was friendly and helpful (my dog is nervous around strangers but warmed right up with cookies) I believe the fact that they were calm and assertive helped her relax. Very happy with the vet also...very attentive and friendly with my dog and funny ...he diagnosed her as spoiled rotten lol. Will definitely be back in a year when she is due for her next check up and vaccines. Thank you from Aub and Kestrel (not the bird) :)

Very attentive and nice doctor and staff.

Dr. Rider and the ladies are very pleasant and helpful. We have 4 dogs that we've been bringing to the clinic and always had a great experience.

The staff were awesome but Dr Ryder was very cold no emotion especially i was putting my dog down.

our dog had hematoma in his left ear from damage by a bite and now he is already getting better after the surgery. They drain his ear and place two tubes to make sure that the rest of the liquid goes out. The sergury was quick and well scheduled and also the people was so kind and gave so much love to him. And they make sure they give you the information you need to know before and after the surgery:).

My dog died just 10 days after seeing Dr. Rider after Dr. Rider gave me the impression that my dog would be okay. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Get a second opinion...

Dr.Rider has been my 5 English bulldogs vet for years and he has never disappointed. Very caring and gives great advice for my dogs care. One just recently had surgery and is doing great. I have no complaints about him or his staff.

Years ago Rider misdiagnosed my rat terrier. I told him she was peeing a lot '--as usual he does not listen - kept giving her antibotics which destroyed her digestion. He finally said she was diabetic a had me. Bring her in weekly for blood draws at $23.00 per draw. Not counting what he charged 4 regular visits. My little dog died a horrible death. Thanks to Rider. Never once did he pet her. I DID NOT POST THE 4 STARS.

Great care at an affordable price!

This would of been a five stare for me because the dr was concerned and wanted me to bring my puppy in right away without an appointment but the woman who answers the phone is very rude I got a little attitude the first time talking to her then after getting off the phone I get a call from her 15 minutes later with attitude because I wasn’t there yet I have kids I can’t just drop everything and just walk out the door!!!

The Doc has always been great and reasonable.

Always a nice experience for Motor. The staff and Dr. Rider are great professionals and great people as well.

Doctor was great....straight forward, knocked out our shots, answered our questions....quick and easy

Reasonable prices, kind, compassionate and clean.

Affordable and clean vet office, but the veterinarian is very short with you. And will just leave the room without letting you know if he's coming back or if your appointment is over.

The people at the desk are fine, it looked nice and friendly. The way the vet manhandled my poor sick cat, it tore me apart inside and how he was annoyed that we asked questions as he avoided them and just told us where to leave as if he wanted us out as soon as possible.

I Love Dr Ryder and His Staff Pam. He is a straight forward Doctor but I admire that. He has Helped me a Great Deal with our Loved Ones and I am so Thankful for Him. Pam is so Kind and a Joy to talk with xo

Put my puppy on the scale and said she's fine....2 days later she was almost dead from pneumonia..I guess great place if you want a dingbat for a vet

Spoke to the receptionist for a few minutes to set up an appointment. Receptionist was rude and felt like she was shaming me for not bringing my puppy in sooner when the pet store records say that he had been there just a month ago. Terrible handling with new pet owners.

Dr. Rider is awesome first time bringing our pups in he was very nice and is staff is awesome

Dr. Rider has to be one of the best Vets that I have come across. He cares about your babies just as if they were his own. When our Bichon Frise passed away, the office sent a card and letter. He continues to take care of the remaining dog and our addition, a rescue cat.

I've been going for years to doctor rider a kind compassionate person his staff kind as well pets like him too

Dr Rider is an amazing veteranarian. He really cares about my furbabies.
