We took our cat here yesterday afternoon they gave her anti vomiting meds and a anema after she was puking up a lot of blood. I didn't think that was enough but I'm not an expert so we went with what they said to do. We bring her home and she starts vomiting again all blood the vet said she may vomit a bit still so after the first vomit after we bring her home we decide to wait it out a bit, but she vomits again and goes limp so we decided to rush her to a 24 hour animal hospital, where we find out she has a bleed in her intestine and needs to be admitted to the hospital she'll be there for at least three days. If we would of waited like the vet here said to do I don't think our cat would be alive right now.

Quick appointment. Quality care. Diagnosed buttercup quickly and started treatment. We take both our cat and dog to perring. Have for years.

Dr. O is simply wonderful. He’s always able to see my babies (a pit bull, and a chocolate lab) right away. You can tell how much he cares for the animals that walk into his facility by the extensive time he takes to go over your animals to make sure they are in perfect health. I recommend him to anyone that needs immediate care and/or a basic check up. I couldn’t ask for someone better to handle my loves! Thank you so much!

Took my dog here as they were only place that could see him that day , now I know why they had spots available to be seen . Everyone I speak to has either heard bad things about this vet or has experienced bad things . Was quoted for an amount of $664 for a procedure for my dog not including visit ($42), when stated I needed to figure out some funds as I only had $200 on me (not initially knowing what was needed to take care of my dog as he is a healthy almost 4 year old dog and has only been to vet for shots and getting fixed ) the vet became super cold and rude . Took my dog to another vet and had the same exact procedure done and everything including visit was $264 and they were nice for free . Do yourself and your pet a favor and go right down the street to the Amazing Carney Animal Hospital where they will take the best care of your animal, you won’t be disappointed. Also by Reading the responses from the owner of perring animal hospital I can tell they are beyond unprofessional and rude in the way they talk to the people who had unpleasant experiences . Shame on them .

We met Dr. Ed randomly after our vet of 20+ years closed at the end of 2019. In March 2020 we put down our 12 year old Pug at the Pet ER in Towson due to several issues that he had been battling since 2018. We also had a 13 year old boxer and 10 year old Multi Poo; both needed shot updates and our boxer had some pain in his back and hips and was losing weight. We began seeing Dr. Ed in late March 2020. We had both dogs updated and examined. We also had our Multi Poo treated for allergies and our boxer in the office multiple times for his back and hip issues. All visits were friendly and professional. Dr. Ed is very gentle and patient. He explains and explains again if you need it! He gave us options based on prices and the expected results of each option with our boxer who quickly went from close to 100lbs to 80 and was losing his balance more and more etc. Dr. Ed nor Sam never rush us out or apply pressure to our decision making, they return calls and emails quickly, even when closed! This morning we put our boxer, Amadeus, down, it was time to let him be pain free and get the peace and rest he deserved. I called and asked Sam to make sure the paperwork was ready when we got there and to allow us to pay ahead so that we did not have to do that afterwards with people in the lobby etc. When we arrived it was all ready. Dr. Ed took us in the room and asked if we wanted some time with Amadeus, again no rushing us. Amadeus got very angry and anxious quickly and while being given the sedation medication actually became aggressive. Dr. Ed never once flinched, he took his time and he got it done as gently and patiently as he could. As Amadeus was leaving us of course my husband and I became very emotional and Dr. Ed was great with us and Amadeus. As we left Dr. Ed shook our hands and told us we did what we could and then told us to be careful driving. The personal touch that is not mandatory but is very appreciated. We are very glad that we just so happened to go to Perring Animal Hospital, they are as caring and professional as our vet that closed. We will continue to partner with Dr. Ed and our four legged family members!!! Thank you Dr. Ed for today and everything to come! Tony and Lisa Schaffer

Extremely responsive and comprehensive. Doctor is involved from beginning to end and even calls to follow up after appointments. Provides up front pricing as part of the plan. Able to do a huge variety of tests and imaging in house and provide results and patient, thorough explanations during a single visit. Keeps good records.

NO NO NO. TAKE MY ADVICE IF YOU CARE FOR THE ANIMAL. ???? I UNFORTUNATELY READ THE BAD REVIEWS BUT BECAUSE THE SITUATION WAS AN EMERGENCY I TOOK MY CHANCES BECAUSE HE WAS THE FIRST AVAILABLE VET. DON'T. I NOW KNOW WHY HIS SCHEDULE WAS OPEN AND THERE WERE NO OTHER PATIENTS.

The vet here told me my 1 year old cat had a heart condition which would cause an extremely short lifespan. After taking him to another reputable vet, it was found out he had no such heart condition and was perfectly healthy. I would not recommend taking your animals there, and if you do be sure to get a other opinion.

I have been taking my dog here for routine exams and vaccines. No issues, up front on prices, and can decline if needed. Dr O explains things and is helpful

When my mothers' cat had fallen ill, I took her to Dr. Owoeye. Although we wound up having to put her down(she was a lot sicker than we realized), he was patient, and very compassionate throughout the ordeal. He carefully explained each procedure, and offered options throughout. He even sent my mother a sympathy card.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. This vet has saved my Cats life 3 times now due to urinary crystal blockages and a pancreatitis attack. He was also really helpful when our late bloodhound had gotten a brain tumor. He made everything easier on all of us. We will continue to go to him for as long as he's at this location and him and his sweet receptionist deserve the five stars that are posted in this review

DO NOT GO HERE... my dog had staph infection of the skin i took him here three or four times over a two in a half month period, they kept giving him the same stuff over n over n it never went away. They first said it was allergies to the grass, then they said it was my carpet in my house breaking him out, i got the damn carpet cleaned and it still didn't go away. I finally went some where else and they told me that the meds he was getting were for a dog that weighs 5 to 10 pounds, my dog weighs 30 pounds and that he was tremendously under dosed and to top it off it wasn't an allergy to grass or an allergic reaction to my carpet but STAPH infection. And to top that off they gave him an anti itch/inflammatory pill that counteracted the antibiotic they gave him. My puppy suffered for almost three months and got not relief and then when i called them to ask for compensation on all the money i spent nearly $300 just in pills not including the cost for exam visits they refused to compensate or even give a partial refund and basically said and i quote " WELL I'M GLAD HE'S FEELING BETTER", like really thats all. Im glad too that after three months he is feeling better when finally after one visit to this other doctor he was cleared up in 7 days. Not to mention that staff infection is contagious and spreads fast. I informed the vet Dr. James, that I would be writing a review about her, she seemed not to care to much so here you go. Don't go here there are much nicer and more thorough places to go to. But most importantly your commitment to client happiness and the way you handle unpleasant situations which do occur says a lot about your business.
