A PITY THEIR CARING AND CONCERN IS ONLY WHEN YOU ARE SEEKING CARE WITHOUT ENCROACHING UPON THEIR LIVES…I REGRET THE THREE YEARS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS I WASTED WITH THEM. If your pet is willing to give notice to you prior to injury or illness and need care ONLY during their regular hours; and only if they don’t have any personal plans; they are good vets. As long as you do not inconvenience their lives, they will have show you a happy face. Heaven help you if you want your regular Vet to examine your pet when they are presenting discomfort and it’s not with an appointment or if they are not running out for an errand. What happens when you need urgent care and it’s during their regular office hours? I called there on a Saturday afternoon at 1:15pm. One of our Savannah Cats was ill. Remember their hours on Saturday are until 2pm. The receptionist stated the Vet (either Shani or Amanda) had just left for the day. I requested her to give the Vet a call and ask if she could come back and please examine our cat. I could be in their office in 10 minutes or less. She refused; stating to me she talked to the Vet and Vet said for us to go to Falls Road Emergency. And they allude to the public they are a hospital. I restated; if you have office hours till 2pm, and our pets welfare is not their concern then why am entrusting them with SIX family members of the 4 legged type? We did find help at our previous Vet whom is farther away. They graciously stayed late to take care of our cat. I was foolish to have left their actual caring at Main Street Vet Clinic. To add insult to injury the Receptionist lied to Shani, purportedly stating I was rude. Never happened and was always, absolutely always professional, courteous and always paid in full. I believe the receptionist was covering her tracks; as I received a unprofessional note from Shani stating they would not tolerate anyone being rude to their staff. After three years as a client with impeccable manners a professional would call the client and hear their side before sending such a letter. I regret making my convenience superseding the true caring practice of Veterinary Medicine; not just making a living. Being raised in a cattle ranching family in Montana as well as owing a breeding Thoroughbred facility in Florida, I have dealt with Vets who truly love their patients and are in the practice because of the love of animals. As a sole practitioner as well as having his own medical issues; Dr David Burba in Altoona, Florida could school these two Vets on commitment and dedication to their patients and “families. The career is more than 35-40 hours a week.

Staff is always friendly . They treat my pet as if he were their very own .

Wow! Such a great experience. They hit it out of the park with friendly service, answer all of my silly questions, my slightly nervous cavapoo puppy absolutely LOVES coming to the vet. They've done a fantastic job with the whole social distancing thing, NOT ONCE have I gotten anything other than a live human when I've called to say "I'm here" (or any other time I've called during business hours). One of the most impressive things was iirc our second visit -- while waiting outside (oh yeah -- plenty of parking and some is shaded) I watched as one of the employees (or maybe one of the vets -- she was in scrubs) came out and spent several minutes with what appeared to be an overwhelmed owner of a rambunctious medium-large breed dog. I couldn't hear them, but she was giving very clear instruction on different body language cues (dog and human) and reward/correction techniques. It was a mesmerizing, fun, and concise yet informative refresher course for me (from when I grew up with a lab mix), even though I was 3 parking spots and listening to classic rock! We could not be happier with our vet choice. Thanks folks!!

I have been coming here for two years now and I highly recommend them! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr. Morgan is my favorite! She's great with my babies and top of the line.

Staff was wonderful and very attentive to the needs of Gizmo, my 16 week old kitten. They took time to make sure I had a clear understanding and following up appointment. If I had any questions feel free to call at anytime.

I never knew business reviews could be deleted but nonetheless I wanted to update all of you on my previous review about this place. No valley dog and cat hospital did not do my French bulldogs C section nor did they ever return my call or respond to my review about how unhappy I was with this place. On February 11th at 7:13 PM my frenchies pups were successfully delivered via Cesarean section. I found an animal hospital who did not take my rights away from me as a dog owner and try to make me spay or neuter either of my dogs in order to deliver their pups smh! They left every decision up to me and in the end I could not be happier! Momma and pups are doing extremely well and I am a proud grandma of 3 little boys and 1 girl!

They are so caring and love my dogs like they are their own. The customer service is wonderful. They take the time on their own to get to know you and your pets. They always answer all my questions. Both doctors are great! Very down to earth and personable.

My neighbor referred me to this office and I can't thank him enough. When my dog became ill the kindness and compassion that was shown for my dog and my family by Dr Scherr and the staff was phenomenal.

This pet hospital was amazing to my dog and our family. We had to put down our ailing dog and this hospital made his transition so nice and easy. The staff was very comforting to us during this emotion time. They even checked on us the next day. Terrific Place.

I couldn't recommend more highly. Everyone there is so wonderful, amazing doctors and staff. Truly care about your animal. I can't imagine taking our puppy anywhere else.

They was so helpful at the time i needed someone..very kind, nice and thoughtful....

They were able to get my dog in for a last minute new patient appointment within 1 day. My husband took our dog to the appointment, and had nothing but good things to say. He stated the vet seemed to genuinely care, shared her own experiences, provided great feedback and recommendations, and had incredible bedside manner. The next day, someone from the staff called to check in. We have a vet we've used for years (not satisfied after learning from a peer the practice was sold and has a new owner and no one ever even called to inform us), but won't be returning after our experience here. This is our new vet home ????

It is always a pleasure coming here. Drs. Scherr & Morgan are super knowledgeable, friendly, and consummate professionals. The docs and staff truly care about each patient and family. I couldn't recommend them more ☺️

The blonde girl at the desk was rather rude and judgmental. All of the other staff were great. Only other thing, I was not advised about the fee for cutting the nails. I could have easily done that at home.

Been here twice. The first time was hard for me because we lost an old friend. I can not say enough about how awesome they were about it and I was able to get a paw print of our guy. Second tine, a cat found our house one night and after spending the night with us... we took her over and had her scanned. Owner found and he picked her up that night after work LOL. Good solid place.

Amanda and Tracy were absolutely amazing with our cat, Tank. They were very attentive and answered all of our questions. They took their time and were incredibly nice and informative. This will definitely be our regular vet for our pets and we recommend this vet to anyone looking.

I was looking for a new caring hospital for my dog and really did the work by looking at reviews and doing in person “surprise” visits with my dog prior to making a decision. Everyone at this office was super caring, genuine and fantastic which helped me make my decision immediately. About 45 days later I made a follow-up appointment for my dog and I experienced no difference. Dr. Morgan and the entire staff was very caring and gave me lots of information to help our dog Diesel. To top it off the next day Kelly called from the office to make sure Diesel was feeling ok after his shots the prior day.... WOW! Definitely take your animals here as they will be cared for and in the BEST HANDS! Thank you again to the entire staff at Valley Animal Hospital!!

Just had an excellent visit there this morning! I’m a new pet owner and brought my dog here for his first exam. They were excellent with him and very patient and helpful with my barrage of questions. I’m glad that I found them. Won’t be going anywhere else!

Nice people; bad experience. Had issues with our pet and when trying to heal him, we've been given the run-around. We've paid more than what was reasonable. They were not upfront about certain fees and suggestions.

I'm new to the area and needed a vet ASAP for my cat. The got me in same day. The staff was beyond friendly and the vet talked to my cat the same way I do. She was beyond thorough with his testing and researched the most cost effective option in terms of blood work. I will never go anywhere else with my furbabies. Simply the best vet I've ever been to!

I know there are many great veterinary practices but this one is hard to beat for professionalism with a personal touch.

Dr. Morgan and Valley Vet employees took the very best care of our beloved seal point siamese, Savannah. Valley Vet was her only veterinarian and she lived a happy 19 years. Her Kidney disease was managed incredibly well for many years and we are so thankful for the compassion and attention we all recieved throughout her final year. Thank you!
