Dr. Paynter and the team were extremely compassionate and professional as we had to make some very hard decisions about Bennie. I am not sure what we would have done without them. I highly recommend OM Veterinary Center.

We have been bringing our dogs here since they were puppies! We started with our 2 boxers about 9 years ago when it was still Old Court Animal Hospital. We decided to stay with the practice even with their Doctor changes and location change. We now have a Cane Corso and we love bringing him here. Everyone is so afraid of him but not here for they treat him so well. We always refer family and friends! As long as we’re in the area we will being our fur babies! : ) oh yes and they are very affordable, as long as we’re in the area we will continue coming here! Dr. Franklin is amazing and the techs are great! We always meet with one tech in particular but I forget her name but she’s amazing she remembers moon each time and she asks about the family! If you are deciding where to take your pets here is a great start!

I was so pleasantly pleased with how amazing the staff and the primary vet were. My dog is usually very stressed about going to the vet and for her first visit to the new vet, she was (mostly) cool as cucumber for once. I felt like her new vet actually cared and listened to my concerns and I was more than pleased to see Chewy be actually willing to walk with a staff member to another area without me, which she usually won't do. I had a flood in my condo and had to be displaced to an apartment. They required records of my cats vaccinations. I had a hard time finding a place who could take them ASAP. Owings Mills Veterinary Center took me the next day. The Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful The Doctor was excellent and took his time explaining everything regarding my two Himalayans. The shots were given and medication for one of them; which I would not have known he needed for his eye. Very satisfied with this place.

Staff was really nice I was just surprised with a $170.02 bill for an examine and two vaccine shots for my cat. To expensive for a vaccinations so I will not be returning.

I liked both the vet and his assistant staff, our puppy was happy and not scared getting his nails trimmed and tested etc in the back showed no signs of any kind of anxiety or stress. Vet took time to answer all of my questions and gave his recommendations and advice on many things and I appreciated that they never made me feel rushed when it was our first visit and we needed to cover a lot of things.

Irresponsible.have no idea what to do. Will make you wait for their call back.And never call back.Will happily charge you. If you are planning to travel with your pet,you better find somebody else.

We are so thankful we found this place!!! We have been patients for a little over a year now and the staff is just so accommodating and kind. We were nervous about a procedure for our puppy as there are risks with any surgery. Our minds were put at ease from the kind staff and Dr. Paynter. They answered all of our many questions and made the experience go from scary to calm. Our animals and our whole family HIGHLY recommend this veterinary center!!

Thank GOD for the care giving my FurBaby. Although the diagnosis was heartbreaking Dr. Painter and his tech Victoria were incredible and caring. The doctor ran the appropriate tests and took the time to uncover what was wrong with my baby boy. Despite expensive lab work and several visits, to his now previous Vet and relaying the exact symptoms his serious, life altering illness were not diagnosed. We have a difficult road ahead of us but thanks to the staff at Owings Mills Veterinary Center we have a chance to enjoy more time together.???? Thank you all, D. Pride and Barkley

I had a great experience with Dr. Paynter at this clinic. They were able to fit my cat in within the day when he was limping. My usual vet and several other facilities I called could not see him for up to two weeks due to backlogs from the pandemic. This saved me a trip to the Pet ER which I was hoping to avoid. Their service was quick, professional, cost conscious, and effective. Dr. Paynter was easy to talk to and relatable. Thank you!

All of the staff were so friendly to me and my pup. Dr. Paynter was very thorough and answered all of my questions about being a new puppy parent. Definitely coming back.

Dr.Paynter took good care of my 11 year old Yorkie. My Yorkie Mia had several pressing conditions and he was able to address them all while performing surgery. He adds that personal touch by walking you through what’s going on Pre and post surgery. I just knew Mia was in good hands. She’s healing so well too! The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. Owings Mills Vet will be my go to vet for my sweet Mia.

WARNING: DO NOT LET DR. RICHARD T. PAYNTER EVER TOUCH YOUR PET. Dr. Paynter's gross incompetence and negligence led to the tragic death of my beloved dog. Dr. Paynter performed surgery on my dog and had no idea what he was doing. Dr. Paynter should be ordered to surrender his veterinary license. Dr. Paynter recently joined Owings Mills Veterinary Center after he went out of business at Old Court Animal Hospital. Dr. Paynter practiced at Old Court Animal Hospital at a time when they didn't even have the proper state licensing to be in operation. Dr. Paynter is a complete fraud. Dr. Paynter's move to Owings Mills Veterinary Center was apparently an effort to dissociate himself from his unethical past. KEEP YOUR PET AWAY FROM DR. PAYNTER.

Amazing customer service and so compassionate toward me and my pets!

Formerly had great experiences at Old Court and Dr. Paynter. However, this practice has become too big. It is too hard to schedule an appointment or even speak to anyone without having to leave a message and wait for a call back.

I needed a place to neuter my dog and this place had good reviews so I choose this place. The receptionists that handle the calls are unprofessional and giggle on the phone instead of talking to customers. The big(fat & tall) nurse got mad that my dog was nervous and trying to get away while she was trying to get me to sign papers and caught an attitude. They told me to be there at 8 am sharp with emphasis on sharp, but my dog was not let into the building until 8:15. The doctors are good but if you want to avoid headaches and miscommunications follow my lead and find another vet. I am not bringing my dog back here. EDIT: Also $50 off of a $800 bill was not enough. Get better staff.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. D for over 10 years. She is amazing all around. She truly cares for each and every animal she treats. There is a new Dr., but I have not met him yet, but I'm sure she wouldn't align herself with anyone who doesnt share her beliefs. Prices are reasonable and couldn't imagine taking my dogs or cat anywhere else.

The staff including the veterinarians are compassionate and friendly and treat clients like beloved family. Quality care.

Dr Dee is a outstanding doctor, her staff is amazing...Dr Dee will do whatever she can to help u & ur pet...2 thumbs up for Dr Dee & her staff????????

I've been a client for over 20 years. Old Court has been the perfect place to keep my dogs healthy. I love Dr. D. and the "boutique" personal attention and appreciate that medications and services are more economical than the more prominent vet businesses that I know about through other pet owners. When my elderly dog was in failing health from spinal issues, I was grateful for the support to extend her quality of life and compassionately navigate end of life steps. Also, Dr. D. personally tended to pre-care, forms, and arrangements for our special travel needs. I love all animals and have frequently noticed cats and other pets at Old Court during my visits, so know that this is a good place for all of your pets.

Dr. DeLeon has been my cat's vet for years. I love her.

This is a very good veterinary hospital!! The staff is helpful and courteous. Dr. Deleon is an amazing doctor. I strongly recommend this vet, and they take care of both my dogs.

Best Vet ever! Never feel rushed and Dr. D takes plenty of time to answer questions and teach the “parents” about their pets. She has always treated our dogs like her own!

(CALLIE HATES LOUD VOICES/NOISE) THE TECHS, THE FRONT-DESK GIRLS ARE ALL WONDERFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND OLD COURT ANIMAL HOSPITAL TO ANYONE WHOSE FUR-BABY NEEDS A DOCTOR.

My precious dog was very sick, barely walking. Her vet took excellent care of my Dymond and she is doing well.........thanks to all the staff.

I love this place for my cat lydia, the owner really cares about her patients and she works with you if your in a bind.
