My Dog had surgery here. They was Awesome with him. Even calling to check up on how's he doing. The Dr's and staff all all Wonderful. So happy I made rhe Switch.

No up front pricing, bad parking, poor front desk staff. Make sure to ask for an itemized invoice for every service rendered. I was charged for services on multiple days with no explanation why I was being charged. Shady business practices. I do not recommend

New to the area. Was in need of a vet. No complaints on the 1st visit. Wellness and vaccination spend around 350. No problem. His Rabies vaccine is due, of course I contact this vet, only to be told I would have to pay another wellness visit plus the vaccine. My pet just seen the vet less than 4 months ago. Contact someone else and they are more than willing to do the vaccine without the wellness check up since it was done this year. Ask for a detail price list before scheduling. Truly sad to nickel and dime pet owners.

I had an appointment with this vet for my dog with an urgent matter. I arrived on time and had to walk across the street to Walgreens for a mask because mine tore. I called the desk to inform and they told me they couldn't see me and I had to make another appointment. They charged me as a "NO SHOW". I think this is utterly ridiculous when other business allow vaccinated people to come in without a mask. To me it was very bad customer service when I'm alerting you that your policy made me walk across the street and there was a line at the checkout. I would not recommend this place due to poor customer service and lack of understanding for their patients. My dog had an urgent matter and now he's denied timely care.

I had some initial issues getting in when my dog was injured. I will say they ended up being great in the end though.

Friendly staff and the Doctor seemed knowledgeable. Prices seemed a little high however.

Horrible first time experience!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I called in a month in advance to schedule my appointment. During this initial call the receptionist continuously tried to receive payment for the future service. But I continued to tell them no I’ll pay upon service and that I would be using my pet insurance. The day I came in for service, I was told to stay outside. I understand COVID is still happening HOWEVER we are not in the phase we’re we can enter buildings without mask on if you’ve been fully vaccinated with the COVID shot. Yes, I’ve been vaccinated. However, I was rudely told to go sit in my car and wait to be called on the phone for my appointment. After 30 minutes of waiting in my car as I was rudely instructed to do, I called them on the phone to express how I didn’t enjoy the recent interaction. I just couldnt understand why I needEd to wait in my car for my appointment and for such a long time for this scheduled appointment. I also expressed that my puppy was nee to me and that hed never been without me (we go EVERYWHERE together). I wasn’t sure how he’d be without me being there. So I asked if I could come in with my new puppy. The receptionist was again RUDE. She says to me, “ I will not be changing my rules for ANYONE! You can feel free to go to another vet.” By this point I was too thru with them. I finally was a bit rude and simply hung up on her while she was still attempting to spit out rude nonsense into my ear. And I did exactly what she suggested, I took my business elsewhere. I’ve already spent about $800s at Banfield over 3 visit already. Banfield’s staff is SO nice. The staff (this was in laure inside the Petsmart) walked me through the aisles to help me find different items for my fur baby. Even if they thought my mini Yorky was ugly (although he’s absolutely adorable, you never know someone may be disgusted by his adorableness ????????‍♀️). The staff behaved as if he was the cutes thing they’d ever seen and wanted to hold him and they were play fighting over holding him and blah blah blah. It was a great experience with them and it has been nothing but great each time I’ve gone for his visit. They even remember us each time we show up for his appointment. They also allowed me to come to my appointment when I was 30 minutes late and there was no judgement. I’m glad ODENTON VETERINARY HOSPITAL SUCKS because I wouldn’t have been forced to look elsewhere and find Banfield. Be advised the staff at Odenton Vet are RUDE! DON’T TAKE YOUR PETS THERE!!

We’ve been bringing our pets (3 dogs and a cat) here for a few years now and we love them! The front desk staff have always been friendly and helpful. The techs are awesome. And I’d happily see any of the doctors in the practice. They’ve always been very realistic about treatment options and supportive of our choices even if that choice was to have a procedure done at a cheaper place. They helped us find specialists when we needed them and performed surgery when it was more appropriate to do in-house. They were so nice and comforting when it was time for our older dog to be put down and sent a really heartwarming hand written card afterwards. Can’t recommend them enough!

Had a good experience with today's visit.

I have been taking my boy, Jaxen, here for about 7 years and we have never had an unpleasant experience. All the doctors and techs are friendly and give my dog the best care! He recently had surgery and I was very comfortable knowing he was in their care.

Very friendly service. Everything I bring my children there they always seem to really care about about the furry children. Prices are a little high, but given the area I guess it's to be expected.

They consistently haven't shared pertinent/important information about my dog's treatment plan for heartworms and have acted really nonchalant about it. For instance, I dropped my dog off this morning for a shot as part of her treatment and was told they would not do it until she is taken to a cardiologist - something that they've had in the notes for a month and didn't bother to share with us. For something that's supposed to be very serious, I feel like they don't take the necessary steps to treat animals as they should be. This is just the latest instance - we've had to call in with questions at other times and were just emailed a note sheet instead of answered by a vet. We've shown up to drop off the dog for an appointment and they had no idea she was supposed to be there that day. The communication with this vet has been AWFUL, especially when it matters the most.

Great care and Great Prices

I’ve been a customer for over a year and the quality of my visit has been worse each time. The prices of services aren’t very clear and it seems that they always try to up charge a service without letting you know. They are not very transparent and if you try to voice concerns that you have with the manager Victoria or any other office staff, they immediately act very unprofessional in the way they handle their customers.

Very thorough and doing a great job adhering to covid guidelines

I was looking for a new vet for my two kitties, driving 40 min and sitting in traffic on the way home with them was putting a lot of stress on them. I googled best vets around me and this one came up and I absolutely love them. Great staff, great customer service, treat my little one as their own. If looking for a new vet I definitely recommend them.

Staff is very considerate and understanding of most animals. They were able to help me with both kittens that I own. When I had to put one down because of quality of life being drastically poor, they were very considerate and professional. Would recommend to anyone needing routine animal care.

Service is terrible. They’ve somehow “forgotten” to put my appointment on the calendar multiple times. Every time I do go in the front desk staff is rude and snippy. I always feel like the vet is trying to up-charge and over sell at any opportunity. I’m always told extra tests or services are needed and that a whole other veterinary appointment is required (of course with another vet appointment charge). Been taking my pets here for 10+ years because its close and the vet tech staff has always been great but due to the front desk service and the questionability of the vet I will not be bringing my pets here anymore and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Overpriced. I was able to get Rabies, Distemper and flu shots for my dogs in AZ for $20. Also, the Dr was very condescending.

Brittney is the best with Hercules. She always give him an excellent cut.

Great experience. The staff and vet obviously love animals and took great care of both dogs during the appointment. I'd like to especially thank Heather in the office, who was very kind and patient with me on the phone.

i wont leave one star as the nurses and doctor were super nice and this review isn't on them. Due to the virus a lot of animal clinics and such have been closed or limiting services. I had to get my puppy vaccinated for rabies and Odenton vet seemed to be my only option as the base vet was not taking anyone for a month or so. This brings me to the 2 star review. their prices are outrageous. I am a new animal parent and was unaware of prices so i thought it made sense. i pay $70 up front simply for being a new patient. then i paid $80 for the rabies vaccine and some booster shot. all in all i paid $150 to get two shots, get the weight of my puppy, and to get one month "free" subscription of heartworm medicine. Then, afterwards i received an estimate for getting my 4 month old neutered. they quoted me $580... get out of here! luckily the SPCA does neutering for $85 and i could have had his rabies shot for only $5.00. i highly recommend you go to the anne arundel county SPCA before spending $150 for god knows what. You will thank me later.

We had to paid $45 for an unsolicited Physical exam when we took our cat for the feline leukemia vaccine booster. Which by the way they did the same physical exam 3 weeks prior. They did not tell us that they were going to do that exam again and we found out when we got the bill, this is unethical. We won’t be taking Scooby there anymore.

Dr Corcoran is always pleasant and great with pets. It’s good to have such caring informed vets within Odenton. Highly recommend.

Wish I could give 10 stars. My current vet, like most during these times, is only booking weeks in advance, so I decided to call up Odenton Vet. Staff was extremely nice and they were able to see my new kitten the same day I called as a new customer! Price was very reasonable. A lot lower than other vets would charge you for checkups/ tests/ vaccines. Definitely bringing the rest of my pets here in the future. Thank you guys!

I have been taking by pets there for the last 20 years. Dr. Steve was the best, unfortunately a new owner has taken over since Dr. Steve's passing and their prices have skyrocketed. I will be looking for a new vet.

This is a very nice little groom salon in the Odenton Vet. They groom during the week and and I find it easy to get to and get a appt. for my dog in a reasonable amount of time.

The staff was very polite and knowledgeable.
