I have been taking my pets to Abbey for over 23 years and have always been impressed with the professional and caring service. If they are unable to give your pet the care needed they are happy to put you in touch with the necessary specialist.Very impressed with Dr.Kroll she was clear in letting us know that she was the pets advocate first and would let us know what was best for the pet. Extremely professional and compassionate.

I have two little fur babies that Abbey Animal Hospital take’s very good & thorough care of.

My dog was having issues that pointed to a trip to the ER, but the staff (even severely understaffed) was able to accommodate my pup and I. When I called initially, they said it didn't look like they could get me in but would call back to verify. Even if they called back and said they couldn't I'd still have written a 5 star review for the prompt and helpful communication. The support staff and doctor are a great group! Highly recommend the team here, just make sure to do them a favor and schedule everything you can to help them better assist you.

Super friendly staff, dog loves visiting, vets and techs are great with explaining and making sure you understand. Excellent follow up!

Took my kitty in for his yearly exam. This was my first time here. Dr. Jay and his wonderful staff was very professional and attentive. Dr. Jay took the time to explain to me what he was doing and he listened to what I had to say about Neville. After the bloodwork came in Dr. Jay called me and explained the results and answered all of my questions. I would absolutely, hands down recommend Dr. Jay to anyone who is looking for an awesome Vet :)

I brought my new puppy, Koda, here for the first time yesterday. The staff were all so sweet and our Vet was very informative. I was referred here by a friend and I’m glad I decided to come. I won’t go anywhere else now. You guys are PAW-some ????

The vets are competent and compassionate. The techs and staff are professional and so kind to our dogs…you can tell they love animals. Even with Covid craziness, we have been able to get appointments in a reasonable timeframe. We appreciate the great service and great care!

Dr. J was wonderful with my dogs. Patient, gentle and thorough for their yearly check up. Entire staff outstanding.

Dr Jay and his staff are skilled, kind, compassionate and patient. My rescue dog is very nervous about going to the vets, yet Dr Jay and his staff go out of their way to help him feel safe and comfortable. Dr Jay has always been very thorough, investigating my concerns and offering suggestions that I can implement at home. I recently lost my beloved cat, who had FeLV but was able to live an additional 10 years after we took her into our home. Dr Jay was very attentive, caring and supportive throughout her years with us and especially her medical challenges near the end. He will always have a special place in my heart for the care and kindness he consistently demonstrates.

Changing to Abbey Animal Hospital was the best thing I've ever done for my dogs. Dr.jay is amazing. He never hesitates to take as much time as he needs to explain something completely. They closed at noon on Saturday, but dr.jay was still working at 6:30 p.m. When he returned my call.

Not only do I take my 14 year old Corgi mix dog to Dr. J and team for any medical reasons.....I take Mo to have nails trimmed and anal gland expressed. The Vet Tech are awesome. Remember your Vet Tech.????????????

There needs to be another like comment because from Dr. Jay down to the staff there was COMPASSION. Our precious Maggie Mae was 13 years old and diagnosed with vestibular disease and other complications. We knew what was to come next, Dr Jay explained all that could be done. So we brought her back home for the night and made our decision as a family. She was put to sleep the next evening. After a few days after Maggie's passing,we received a beautiful sympathy card and a print of her paw in a piece of clay with scattered pearls. When we do get another dog, we will have Abbey Animal hospital be our place of care. Thanks for all that you do, Love The Matouseks

I really like Abbey vets under the ownership of Dr Kluttz. He has assembled a great staff: all are friendly and helpful and care about the animals they treat. Dr Kluttz doesn't just "hit and run" in his treatment. He spends quite a bit of time explaining what is wrong and how to fix the problem. He or one of his staff alway call after a visit: to see how my dog is doing and to explain anything necessary. I'm really pleasd with Abbey. Of course, the current virus problem has added difficulty, but they make it work.

Even during the Covid pandemic Abby Animal Hospital was very accommodating in getting my beloved cat Saddie in to be seen for what I assumed was an upper respiratory infection. But after a couple of rounds of antibiotics and no relief Dr. J was determined to find out what was ailing her. Unfortunately, the diagnosis was a cancerous tumor and her outlook was not good even with surgery. I opted for making her as comfortable as possible for how ever much time she had left. Everyone was so compassionate and caring in her final days I took comfort in knowing that we did everything we could to make her passing easier and I am so grateful for that. Abby Animal Hospital cares for your pets like they would if they were their own.

We have been going to Abbey Animal Hospital for 30+ years, they are wonderful and so caring. Our first puppy lived to be 18 and our second puppy lived to be 13 both with the help from Abbey doctors and staff. We have a new puppy, Murphy who has already been to see Dr. Jay and his staff and became a real hit with lots of kisses. Thanks for all your help with our new little fur baby.

Took my adopted first cat to them. Saw Dr. Rittler. She explained so much about Smokey and his health. The staff was extremely kind too. Definitely will recommend.

Abbey Animal hospital has been amazing for the past 9 years! Not only are they great for routine care (nail trims, physicals, checkups), but also in emergency situations. Our chocolate lab has needed 8 abdominal surgeries - and Abbey has been there for all of them! They worked closely with the Animal ER in Bel Air and the Pet ER in Towson when we needed after hours care. They have gone above and beyond for our dog and our family. We thank the whole team for all that they do and the knowledge and compassion they share.

Great vet, the staff and doctors are all so nice and very knowledgeable. They accommodate needs quickly and always make time when you are with them. Would highly recommend.

Our visits to Abbey Animal Hospital have always been the best. Dr Jay is so wonderful to work with and very patient with Noelle. She tends to have some anxiety issues outside the home. His staff are so friendly and you actually feel like you are talking to family. After a long relationship with another veterinarian, we choose to come to Abbey and don’t regret it at all.

Abbey animal hospital is a great place to take your pets. they are kind,gentle,and very concerned with their overall health. they are not trying to sell you on anything.they only give you options that you can take or leave. not your usual vet, they are good people.
