I was unhappy with dr mcgregor in both of my encounters. I was in on nye to have my cat put to sleep and was not offered any compassion or condolences whatsoever but instead what he supposed was wrong with him. I do not feel that dr mcgregor had any compassion that day whatsoever. I asked him a couple of direct questions on my 1st visit with my cat that were not answered. He proceeded instead to try to refer me to other vets to determine issues on a 15 year old cat. I thanked the receptionist for being in on nye and was given the response that they were in for a little while despite not closing for 6 hours. I see others who had better results and wrote raving reviews but I am certainly not one of them. If anyone is searching for a practice I suggest they keep looking.

Dr MacGregor and all of the staff at Vca truly cared about my cat “kitty”. She wasn’t feeling well in July. I took her to vca in Glasgow. After some tests she was diagnosed with ibd/scl and treated for it. During the last 2 months Dr MacGregor stayed in contact and always answered questions or concerns I was having at any moment even though everything is so busy right now with vets. My Kitty fought hard but a couple days ago she took a turn for the worst, ended up in the emergency room and had to be put down. It was her time. I am devastated. But getting the call from Dr MacGregor offering his condolences was so nice and made my sadness just a bit better. Thank you for everything you did!

The staff was very friendly, they made me and pet feel comfortable. They spent time getting to know me and my pet, they had real interest in my pets health. The veterinary was very professional and knew exactly how to handle my rambunctious pet. They keep in touch with me about my pets progress with the new medication. I am very grateful and happy with VCA Glasgow Animal Hospital

VCA Glasgow Animal Hospital is where I choose to take my pets for their medical care. They are very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and reasonably priced considering that pretty much all veterinary care is expensive (in my experience anyway). Everyone I've encountered there is polite and patient with both myself and my pets.

Today I happened to see the office manager outside the animal hospital, I was trying to go to the grooming salon right next door. I asked the office manager (unfortunately I didn't get her name) if they were able to cut my dog's nails, she said yes. When my girl was brought out her nails were done perfect, she was given a cute squeaky cat and you could see that she was extremely happy. I just want to send my sincere thanks and gratitude to the office manager and VCA Glasgow for going above and beyond.

My cat has been seeing them for 18 years but they turned us around and refused to see her when she was sick on a Saturday morning! I gave them 2 stars for leaving me some antibiotics at the desk!

Extremely helpful and nice staff! My first time there and I highly recommend! I have never had to give my cat medication before so I was a bit nervous and they showed me how to do it properly and went over everything very detailed. You can tell they are very passionate about their job as well as to making sure our pets are well taken care of! Great job VCA!

I called regarding my sick senior dog. Left 2 messages for the vet with staff. First call was mid morning, the second around lunch time. No one ever called me back so I called back and was told the vet was busy all day and would not be calling me back. Staff said at that point that vets don't always respond to messages. If they had told me that there was a chance that I would not get the courtesy of a call, I would have contacted another vet. They were no help to me or my girl. In this case, you can't show me evidence that this facility cares about animals at all. Horrible customer service.

I have 100% confidence in VCA and the care they provide for my precious geriatric Maine coone, Walter. Dr. Mcgregor has been his doctor from the start and Walter loves him so much, that after he exams he is so calm he almost falls asleep while we are talking!I am never encouraged to do tests or spend money unless he believes it’s necessary. The staff is extremely friendly. And this comes from a cat lady that has lived in several diff states and have had lots of vet experiences. This place has consistently impressed me, and I have no idea where Walter and I would be without the excellent relationship with Dr. Mcgregor, who has gone above and beyond any Vet’s level of patience to answer my questions and let me know when tests aren’t necessary. The option is always there and up to me but I like knowing I am being told the complete truth. I am very happy with my choice of VCA GLASGOW. Can you tell? Walter is forever thankful as well????

We went to VCA when we lived in NY they were always super nice and extremely reasonably priced, where we moved to Maryland we were so happy to know that we could continue our fur babys care with a name we trusted and loved . The staff at VCA Glasgow is just as friendly and pr9as the office in NY and my little girl likes going there.

We will never be going here again. Customer for 8 years and the day my dog actually has an issue and needs to be seen immediately they can't fit him in. It's a joke to call yourself a animal hospital.

I absolutely can rely and depend on the wonderful staff at Vca for everything they do for me and my furry babies! From the doctors to the technicians and the wonderful receptionist at checkout. Also can’t forget to thank Michelle for everything she does going above and beyond! Wouldn’t go anywhere else with my pets because the trust and faith I have into this great hospital and the staff I wouldn’t received the same services anywhere else!!

My dog was having some issues with his paws and ears the first time we came to this VCA since it merged with the one from Elkton. The vet comes in and without trying to get my dog comfortable with him, he immediately starts reaching and touching the areas that were bothering my dog. Therefore my dog got defensive and afraid and started to show teeth to deter the vet from touching him. The vet threw his hands in the air, says "I'm not getting bit," and walks out. I was appalled, ashamed, and embarrassed that someone who is supposed to help animals would be so clueless how to interact with them when they have sensitive areas! My plan was to never return and find a new vet immediately! But I still needed to make sure my two year old boy was getting better, so I kept with my appointment 2 weeks later. This time we received a warm, loving welcome from a female vet who's name currently escapes my memory. She instantly started petting my dog and making him comfortable, gaining his trust and he took to her... Well... Like a puppy to a new best friend. I wish I hadn't forgotten her name, she is the only saving grace of this animal hospital! But I will not go back in the fear that we may get the male vet again. We will be looking elsewhere for my dog's needs.

This is literally the best vet I've ever used! They always take care of my babies! The staff is always friendly and the doctor is always helpful and explains things in a way I can understand. Three years ago my cat broke his ribs and that's when VCA became my permanent vet. I cannot thank them enough for taking great of all of my babies!
