Very thankful for the team at this location. My eldest dog that is 15.4 has been dealing with heart issues. Recently collapsed & passed out after a short walk twice. On Tuesday last week, took Liberty to …

We were impressed by the emergency care our dog received. The staff answered our call quickly and everyone was friendly. Our lab swallowed an avocado pit and they were able to remedy the issue. The vet came out to explain everything and was very compassionate.

I took my former cat that passed two years ago to specialty vets on a regular basis. Internalists, dermatologist, and cardiologist. He was seen at this office every 2-3 months for his IBD, prior to their loss of their internalists. The most I spent on a specialist consult was around $600, for blood work, consult, and ultrasound. Today’s appointment was nearly $1700, including a $300 procedure that would have been $70 at my normal vet. I’d rather drive an extra 20 mins and be charged half as much as this vet does.

Just shy of 8 months ago in May of 2021, we brought my cat, Checkers in late at night because she had a seizure. After waiting well over 2 hours, we were told to go home because they were busy and they would call me. To give a point of reference we arrived at roughly 10 pm and this was after midnight. We waited until 5 am and finally got a call from the vet and less than a minute in the call she hung up on me because another animal needed her attention. She finally called me hours later and told me my cats blood messed up her machine and told me she was in kidney failure. She told us she had days to weeks MAX to live. She wanted to hospitalize her and wanted me to pay her $2000 for the first night and $1000 for every following night she stayed in the hospital. She explained that if I didn't do this I may as well just euthanize her and basically called me a bad parent. We went and checked my cat out and called our primary vet because at this point it was 9 am the next day. We were absolutely mortified and distraught. We drove our baby 8 hours back home to Tennessee to her primary vet. She told us she strongly recommended we DON'T hospitalize her because terminal cats do really badly with that and gave us everything we needed to help her at home for roughly $100. Of course my cat is still terminal with kidney disease, but many cats with kidney disease live for quite a while after diagnosis with correct management. Bluepearl bullied us and made us believe she had days left to live and that if we didn't pay a huge amount of money we might as well put her down. With $100/ month we have managed her disease for nearly 8 months now. I STRONGLY recommend you do not take your animals to this vet. Please. I have no idea where the positive feedback is from, because this was an absolutely horrible experience. Other veterinarians have strongly suggested I report them to get their license pulled. Please don't give them business.

This review is in regards to the surgical specialty division and Dr. Gale specifically. From start to finish this was a great experience. From Front desk staff, techs, nurses, and Dr. Gale, everyone was professional, kind, and thorough. We were well informed going into our dogs surgery and well informed the day of with updates. They made it clear we could call anytime but we didn’t need to as they were already on top of it. Big thanks to everyone there who helped us during a stressful time!

Had to take my dog here when he hurt his paw after hrs. They were very professional and kind. Took very good care of him. It is nice to have somewhere close by for Veterinary care and treatment and for emergency care. Just remember that it is $203 just to get into the door. Ouch. Price is understandable but it still stings. If in need of emergency care, this is the place that will take care of your pet. ( watch where you step outside though, stepped in a not so nice pile in the in the median on my way in) shameful that some pet owners don't clean up after their pets anywhere. If they had the time to let their pet relieve themselves then they had the time to clean up after them! (Bags provided in the lobby)

They were there when we needed them, off hours, and competently helped our dogs on 2 different occasions with emergencies. *Pricey* but I suppose that's to be expected. We paid $1100+ for x-rays, 2 stiches, 5 days of Rimadayl, and 10 days of antibiotics after a pit bull attacked our 13lb YorkiePoo. Fortunately there were only minor injuries. The price seems steep but our dog was well cared for and is now doing fine.

Drove all the way just to find out they only treat dogs and cats—wish they were called “dog and cat hospital” so I didn’t have to waste my time during an emergency

WHAT KIND OF A HOSPITAL TURNS A PATIENT AWAY BC THEY HAVE LIMITED STAFF!!!!! My dog needed stitches and we were told to NOT bring her in they didn’t have room for her and I got hung up on!!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL !!!!! LAZY PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT TO DO THEIR JOBS!!!! DO NOT SAY YOU ARE A 24hr EMERGENCY AND THEN TURN PEOPLE AWAY ITS CALLED A WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worth the wait! The staff really cares about your pet and they are professionals. I can not say enough great things about how they went the extra mile to help my dog. The specialists go above and beyond. They are very compassionate!

Some of the techs were very nice! However that could not make up the 10 hour wait I in a little before 10PM last night and did not leave until 8-9am this morning. Not to mention people who were there after me got seen and left? No IV was given she didn’t even use the bathroom! After they knew she has too, I got told “well did you think to go somewhere else for care” excuse me? If you guys would have communicated that the wait was more than 5 hours long then I would have worked out a ride. My cat suffered because they made her wait for so long, she threw up 4 times! My cats life was put in danger because the other animals “were in critical condition” and so was my cat, she was throwing up and barely moving! so pretty much I was told because of staffing issues my cats life was put on hold, and I should have been responsible to take her somewhere else. With what ride? I miss my opportunity to get another ride because you were giving me false wait times!! Not to mention they couldn’t hospitalize my cat because of staffing and said we can transfer her to another hospital. So I agreed and the hospital gave us a window of 20 mins to get there in case she needed emergency surgery. And they took 1 hour to get me discharged and we missed out window so if my cat does need surgery then I will have to pay for another 24 stay which is $2,000+ and then $4,000 plus on surgery….. I really wanted to go off but I kept my peace and I was trying to be understanding and patient. But this peace has worn out. I will never ever go back to this place again. I will stick to the ASPCA

Brought my dog because he had a 1 inch gash in his shoulder that needed stitches. Nurse said they were at capacity, I said I would wait, then he said they weren't taking new clients. Had to drive to blue pearl in Philadelphia at 10pm. They were way better. Told them about my experience here and they didn't seem surprised. Go elsewhere

Updating my review after 6 mos of frequent visits and my dogs ultimate death. Really mixed experiences here. What they did, I believe they did well but care recommendations were not nearly as complete as they should have been. And pretty cold. When I finally put my boy down, they got the file from my local vet and instead of reaching out with condolences, they just canceled his next follow up and that was it. I will be trying somewhere next time I need specialty sevices Delivered tragic news but did so so compassionately, really taking the time to explain everything and lay out my options. Not cheap but high quality of care for items that require more than the local vet can provide

amazing amazing AMAZING place. I don't normally leave reviews but BluePearl needed to be recognized for their wonderful staff/treatment of pets. I had called as we were on the way to them and by the time we arrived they had a staff member waiting outside ready to grab our cat who desperately needed their help. Their amazing staff saved our cats life and made sure his stay at their facility was comfortable. Any time I called to get an update, I was directly talking with a doctor who knew the situation. I never felt rushed on the phone and the staff answered any and every question I had. I have no doubt that my cat was given the absolute best care possible. He stayed at BluePearl for three days, and each day I received an update. After bringing him home, I was nervous about his recovery and the veterinarian reassured me and calmed my nerves. The staff at BluePearl truly cares about pets and their parents. If you're in an emergency situation, this is the place to go.

Was quoted 2 hours for an emergency visit on the phone, showed up 20 minutes later. Quote turned to 3 hours. 4 hours later I've watched at least two people get discharged before my dog for lesser issues than what my dog is suffering from including an ear infection. Only difference is they are white and Asian owners with non pit bull breeds. Simply awful! Won't ever return and if you have a bully breed don't even bother. They don't seem to give two squats about you.

The only good thing about the experience was the wonderful staff at the front desk. After waiting for roughly three hours and not being informed about the status of our dog during that time she was unnecessarily and recklessly sedated and scoped and after finding nothing more than inflammation in the trachea they prescribed a GI drug for what even they said was exclusively an upper respiratory issue. We weren’t satisfied with the answers we got so we took her to her primary vet the following day when they opened back up only to learn she was having a simple and easily diagnosed reverse sneezing incident due to the inflammation. The cause of which was likely either her known seasonal allergies or accidental damage to the soft pallet while chewing. Primary vet instructed us to stop the medication that was incorrectly prescribed to our dog by bluepearl and give a low dose of children's Benadryl to help with the inflammation and she quickly recovered.

Called before going in, said I may have to wait 1-2 hours. Arrived at 9:15am. No other patients here, then I’m told a seizing dog is coming in, they may have to leave. Tech took vitals, left quickly and I waited over two hours in room before I went to front to ask what’s up. She said, we’ve had emergencies come in, etc. I said, so how do you know mines not…my dog has never been sick in 10 years…this is not normal, it could be an emergency and we do t know because no one is coming in. Then I said I left the house quickly and forgot my meds (for my cancer) I need to take at noon. She replied, your welcome to leave at anytime. I gave one star because it is a rather clean and nice facility which is hard to come by. Having dogs all my life and going to various ER rooms, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Later, I found out a friend brought their dog here and they didn’t help them. Their dog died that night. Considering they had no cares that I needed to be home for an emergency to take my meds. I’m pretty sure they could care less about my dog. Writing this as I sit here, it’s now 1150. I’m out.

is the absolute worst experience i have had . My dog cut her paw while walking, she managed to slice the side of her pad. It was bleeding off & on since 9:00am. Called her VET & they said it was pretty deep & suggested we take her to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital. Got there at 4:30, they took her straight into a room. I figured since we went straight to a room the wait wouldn’t be long. After an hour & my dog bleeding all over the floor, i walked out the room to let them know she was bleeding more since we got there. The receptionist said i will let them know and check how much longer it will be. I walked back into the room & waited another 15 minutes to watch the girl walk out the hospital for the night. So i proceeded to leave the room again to get an update and the next receptionist told me she would go check to see how much longer. She told me that my dog was next in line. As another hour goes by as my dog continues to bleed all over the floor we go out again to ask for an update and no update was given. After waiting 3 hours and not a single person came to even see my dog or even give the common curtsy of any sort of update we left. Moral of this story do not waste your time going to this place unless you want to wait hours without even being seen.

We had to say goodbye to our precious Diesel yesterday. He was suffering from seizures and was quickly deteriorating. The staff was kind, compassionate and understanding as we made the difficult decision to let him go. Dr Laura explained all of our options and gave us the time that we needed to come to the decision that was best for Diesel. He lived his best life over the past 12 years and is now running free.

Wouldn’t recommend anyone go here especially if you can take your animal somewhere else ! This place is way to expensive and they’ll convince you to basically kill your pet !

The good: clean facility, experienced and knowledgeable doctors, friendly staff, all the medical resources your pet needs. Dignified, affordable, well run, and compassionate euthanasia for your pet. The bad: their emergency medical services are not affordable. If you pet is seriously Ill and you come here; either be ready to say goodbye to your pet or be ready to clean out your savings and max out your credit cards. They wanted $4000 just for hospitalization and a few tests. Not even treatment. Keep in mind I’d already put in $3000 for her care. Maybe I’m in denial. But my poor kitty still had life left in her and I was forced to make a choice between unaffordable care and her life. Her sitting in my lap purring while I’m signing papers to have her put to sleep was unbearably difficult and will haunt me forever. THAT SHOULDNT BE!!!!! Meanwhile all the resources she needed where just in the next room. What exactly is the point of all those resources if they can’t be used? It’s a sad testimony to our medical system where money and business is the primary goal. In summary this is a great place for end of life and I truly mean it when I say that the staff are nothing but great. Sadly none of their services could be used.

They were quick to get Dakotah in and get her seen. (It was early Sunday so it wasn't super packed.) They were direct to the point on what was wrong with her and were very sweet and gentle. I absolutely love this place. They were so understanding and patient with us. My husband and I are probably a little overly protective of our girl and they were just great. Thank you Dr. Murphy and staff for helping our girl :) UPDATE: After some time I had visited another vet in Idaho. I actually WATCHED them check her for the arthritis BluePearl said she "probably " had. The diagnoses was corrected as a spine issue. However, not having her correctly checked and diagnosed originally made surgery or correction of her spine useless. Do to the years of her being incorrectly diagnosed and NO other vet even bothering to do the full inspection Soda Springs did, she jumped out of our vehicle and paralyzed herself. The staff was VERY nice but they are NOT through and with this update I'm inclined to feel as though, because we were not part of the regular patients she was rushed through without much consideration to her individually. She truly was an amazing and otherwise healthy girl that should have lived long past what she did, but was cut short due to improper diagnosis which in turn caused improper treatment leaving the true issues left to compound.

Would not recommend if you’re not a high priority case. I just waited 7 hours and left to go somewhere else bc They couldn’t even give me an estimate wait time. Staff was definitely friendly though. Might have caught them on a very busy night but hourly updates would have been helpful.
