Belquest Kennels Mount Airy, Maryland

Belquest Kennels has been there for me and my rottweiler from day 1. The staff is friendly knowledgeable attentive and are dog lovers! I know they genuinely love my baby girl. When we arrive, my pup barely looks back and is super happy to see them. She gets taken on trail walks and most recently came back w a fresh bath- smelled great! I trust them 110% and even though sometimes it’s out of the way for me, I will drive extra just so she can stay with them.

I boarded my two dogs - a good old hound and my Bouvier des Flanders puppy for one week this summer. I could not have been more pleased with the whole process from scheduling the week, transport to and from the kennel and the most amazing groom for my Bouvier. Thank you for making this experience so positive for us! We won't go anywhere else - thank you for taking such good care of my fur babies.

I took my Labrador here for grooming and when I picked him up I was in shock. He looked like he had lost a couple of pounds because they were able to get the dead hair off of him. I'm not sure that my dog has ever smelled this amazing and his nails are simply perfect! The salon was immaculate, smelled clean (not air freshener clean, you know the difference), and the team was very communicative. Everyone was incredibly welcoming to a Mom that has not ever done this before and may be a bit of a worrier. I can honestly say that my boy will not ever go anywhere else! The peace of mind and reasonable prices were invaluable. Thank you so much Belquest Grooming, you are very appreciated!

Wonderful facility with caring people

"Muffin Man" loves his haircut. He turns to marshmellow as soon as they start trimming. He needs a mussel, but quickly gets over it.

This place is one of the best to bring your dog for either grooming or boarding. My dogs can be a bit nervous and anxious in places outside the house,, but the staff know what they're doing and are always good with them.

This is a puppy farm. They provide terrible customer service, do not return phone calls, and provided an unhealthy puppy.

We are on our third Belquest puppy over the last 20 years. Bella is teaching Blueberry the ropes. We met our new pup at the kennel dirnuring the pandemic and the staff and protocols made us very comfortable.

I have known people who have gotten their dogs groomed at Belquest for years and started working in the grooming department last year. it’s such a nice environment and wonderful place to work. we always make sure to give the dogs the most calming, positive experience.

This is a wonderful place to take your dogs and cats for boarding. The staff is very friendly and I feel comfortable leaving my pets in their care. They have experience with exotics as well.

He smelled like Christmas after getting groomed :)

This place is Aweful! DO NOT EVER GIVE VICKY YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. She will put charges on you that you can NEVER RECOVER. VICKY IS A LIER. She is a thief and SHE GETS AWAY WITH IT. Any e-mail correspondence PRINT your copy she will falsify her end. My best advice to anyone looking for a Labrador they range from 300 to 1000. Not $3500. As Vicky charged my card. Then she would not deliver my puppy to me. NO PUPPY, SHE STOLE MY 3500.00. Why would you treat someone like this Ms. Creamer? WHY?

Hello this is Gail, We picked our beautiful English Lab from Vickie 15 years ago and loved him so much. They did all his grooming and he got to see his family there. Logan passed a year ago and our life has been so empty without him. If I could afford another puppy we would differently go back to Belquest and get another puppy. They did a great job not only boarding our pup but also giving her a wonderful bath and hair cut. She was incredibly soft and smelled great!

Prices have gone up dramatically!

Mt. Airy has some superb breeders. Belquest breeds puppies, grooms, and is involved with lab rescues. I think they may board too. I went there with a friend to have her dogs picture taken with Santa. I got my wonderful labrador puppy from a nearby breeder.

My two boxers love going to Belquest! Our stays have varied from weekend visits to some lasting a little over a week. Every time Rosie and Kegger go they get so excited they run up to the front office. It's always nice to see that the staff remember them by name and greet us with big smiles and hugs. One of my dogs is a super picky eater, but they work their magic and get him to eat! Both also have a lot of energy and the staff makes sure they get enough exercise and playtime. I always have peace of mind that they are taken care of and spoiled (like they should be!) while we are gone.

Vicky Creamer , her husband and staff have been wonderful to work with. Their kennel is top notch, well maintained and my dogs have always come and gone very happy from there. I highly recommend them for boarding, grooming and breeding. A great experience all around.

I've worked with Vicki Creamer for almost 20 years now. She has been nothing but professional and a wonderful colleague in the labrador show world and nothing but welcoming and helpful to me at any time I have had interaction with her. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Grooming is fantastic, I have a dog who hates nail trims, and they are so easy and gentle, and get them done beautifully! I've also purchased two dogs from Belquest, and they are amazing and healthy. Top notch!

I am very unsatisfied with Belquest Kennels. I bought my English Lab just over two years ago from them and she was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. I will be putting her to sleep this Monday. I called and left a message to them and they never called me back. I called again and they finally answered. They were no help. Vicki would not give me the time of day.

Went in for the Thur. mail trim special. The guy who trimed my dogs nails was patient, efficient and did a fantastic job. Always a pleasant experience.

We had been taking our dogs to be groomed here for almost 40 years and before we always a good experience with them but ever since they hired a male groomer named Charles we have not been very happy with their service. He does not treat our dog well and we were not satisfied with his grooming. Because of the way Charles treated our dog we felt we had discontinue our grooming services with Belquest Kennels. It really is a shame that one groomer had to end 40 years of care with this groomer.

I love taking our pups to be groomed at Belquest kennels. Owner Vicky did a beautiful job on my maltese mix and our beautiful English bulldog. They both came out looking and most importantly smelling great!

Our dog has been here for awhile now while we are finding a new home that is dog friendly.. they have been so great with our little guy and so accommodating
