I wrote a review of this place a few months ago about how rude some staff are. I think they made an adjustment and now they’re great. Quality is amazing. I recommend this place 200%

The boss there is rude, clearly after one thing and it’s your money! For one they overcharge big time and if you’re looking for a veterinary that genuinely cares about your pets and not so much your money, look somewhere else.

Do you guys check on reptile?

Dr Weiher is great, it’s that new line of front desk staff that is unacceptable. I’ve been taking my pets to Atlantic vet for 15 yrs, but the past year or more I can see the quality of the front desk staffing is not the same. Today’s phone call about my puppy’s missed vaccine was the last straw. Sorry dr you are great but staff isn’t anymore. Joy King

Never been so insulted by a doctor in my life. My ferret has been sick for 6 months and I paid him to treat her with 5 different medications during that time. About 4 months in he explained if the last option didn’t work, it was probably terminal without expensive surgery. (She’s already in the later years of a ferrets life.) so he basically prescribed a medication to make her more comfortable. Now a week ago I ask for a refill, and he refused to refill it, and I asked what the next step was. No return to my calls all week, and then Today the manager tells me he no longer wants to treat her, even though whatever she has may be contagious because my other ferret is showing the same symptom now. I’m hurt that I ever trusted my pets care to someone so incredibly insensitive, especially since they know her brother passed only a month ago.

Despite a full schedule the Friday before his vacation, when my Airedale had an emergency, Dr. Weiher fit him in, spent four hours treating him, keeping us apprised of what was done and had to be done, and sent him home with antibiotics and pain pills which had him on the mend immediately and healed by the 7th of a 10-day regimen. Dr. Weiher and his staff were so helpful and kind, in fact, Dr. Weiher texted us his cell number in case we needed to reach him, and his office called Monday to make sure all was well. If you’re looking for professional, competent, and truly empathetic care for your beloved pet, I highly recommend Dr. Weiher and his staff.

We drive from Rehoboth to go to Atlantic Veterinary Center. BEST VET IN DELAWARE. Saved REDFORD'S BUTT many times. Thank You for being there for us!

DR WEIHER CALLED TO CHECK ON OUR STORM EVEN THOUGH THE CLINIC WAS CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. DR WEIHER AND STAFF ARE VERY CARING AND ANSWER ALL OUR QUESTIONS FOR OUR BABIES. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Atlantic Veterinary is fantastic. Great staff who are both knowledgeable and caring.

Dr. Alisha Beaudry is a fantastic veterinarian. We have taken our 20 year old cat, Shadow, to this vet for the past several years and Dr. Beaudry has been extremely friendly, helpful, and encouraging as we try to work through Shadow's HT, kidney failure, and FIC. Anytime we visit the vet office or send her an email, she is responsive and never makes us feel like we are pestering her with our many questions! As parents of an elderly fur baby, we get nervous with any change of behavior, health, etc. but thankfully we have a wonderful vet office/staff to support us along the way.

I have been bringing my animals here for over 20 years now and this will ALWAYS be my veterinarian office. Dr Weiher is absolutely top notch and he always takes the time to ensure I know exactly what is going on. And when the news isnt good, he really helps keep you calm and formulates a comprehensive care plan. Dr. Beaudry is the newest addition and I am tremendously impressed with her knowledge and personality! The techs are very good and I always know my pets are safe in their care. Lastly, the ladies up front are so helpful and friendly. I always feel like I'm family when I'm here!

One of the few vets near me that treat rabbits. Although my bunny, Bean, hates going on car rides and is scared to be at the vet, they did what they could to make our visits as good as possible. Nice and knowledgable staff here. I would recommend.

I switched to Atlantic Vet from another vet office and I'm extremely happy that I did. They're kind and sweet on every phone call and office visit. They treat my bunny like she's their own fur child. I can't imagine going to a new office.

Horrible place. They deserve less that 1 star! We were having an emergency with our schnauzer. She was having complications delivering and had a puppy stuck halfway and breach... the lady at the desk gave us a look like we subhuman, didn't want to hear us and told us they don't take emergencies. We would be better to go to an emergency vet. We jumped back in the car and rushed to Main Street Veterinarian where they were compassionate and helped our girl deliver the breach pup, were friendly and even helped console us with the passing of the puppy that at that point had been stuck too long and didn't survive. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra half mile to a vet that actually cares... not this poor excuse for a vet!

Professional care that feels like being part of a family

Dr. Shapiro and the staff at Atlantic Veterinary Clinic took fantastic care of our bunny Butterball. I am so happy that we made the decision to go here! We were scared to get our bunny neutered, but the staff eased our fears. Butterball is healing just fine and is back to normal 2 days later.
