We previously visited Companion for shots and checkups. I called these people on a weekday morning when my pet was injured and and asked to be seen that day. I was told they had no appointments available for 3 or 4 days. My neighbor had a similar experience. Her elderly dog was in great pain so she called Companion and asked for a same day appointment. Same response. Nothing available for 3 or 4 days. Yes, these people are very pleasant to work with but they are not there when you really need them.

This is our vet they were very calm and very professional they took their time my cousin and I both love this but we will refer many people thank you

I cannot say enough good things about staff and doctors at this practice !! I drive 30min to see them and it’s always worth it !!!!

This is the absolute best vet in delaware! Everyone in this practice is professional and personable. I was so blessed to find them as a second opionion to my cat's issues. They think outside of the box to try to resolve problems. I highly recommend this vet. There are no words to describe how wonderful they are. Just fantastic!!!

The staff was very kind and very knowledgeable. It really shows that they care about the animals that they work with, and staff members go out of their way to ensure that animals have happy and healthy lives. I would recommend them highly even if they weren't one of the only options in the area.

Excellent experience with Dr. Russell and all of the staff. Had an "emergency" visit for our giant puppy and they took such great care of her. AND they were so sweet with our human child who was upset about her puppy. After such a wonderful experience we have decided to stay with them permanently. Could not be happier with all aspects of care. It is especially great that they are Fear Free certified!

They treat our dogs with care and affection. The only vet that our dogs have gone into willingly.

Best vet around. We trust Dr. Russell implicitly with our fur babies.

I absolutely love doctor Crozier she is the best and always does her best for the fur babies. I am glad I found her. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a vet go to her.

I am so glad I found this place! What a pleasant, helpful, and caring office! Dr. Russell is so informative and takes her time to address any issues/concerns I have. And her staff is equally as friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

Excellent care given by Dr. Russell and the amazing staff which includes Brianne and Jenna during a dental cleaning appointment. Received a call from Dr. Russell thoroughly explaining how the surgery went and equally thorough discharge instructions from Jenna. They were even so kind as to give me a card signed by everyone with a cute picture of Molly and Jenna gave a follow up call the next day to check in. I am thankful to have found such a compassionate veterinary practice and I look forward to being able to bring my other dog Lucy in for her first visit when it's time for her regular check up.

Great customer service and great service overall! My guinea pig suffers trauma from his last owner but never seems distressed after leaving their care! 10/10 Wouldn't recommend anywhere else if you have a pocket pet.

Our ferrets have been patients of Dr. Crosier for many years, she is an amazing down-to-earth vet that strives for the best outcome of your pet and family. She will not push unnecessary care, a problem we have run into with other practices. Any interaction/care we’ve had with Dr. Russell has been warm and very knowledgeable. All the staff at CAVA have been compassionate and amazing, you and your pet will really feel like a close family friend rather than just a client. If you are in the area of Middletown(or not! We used to drive from north Wilmington just to see Dr. Crosier and crew), I HIGHLY recommend this practice.

This veterinarians office is great they are able to deal with my dog Kota who is very anxious at the vet.

As a new resident in Middletown, I first tried a different vet, whom I found to be impersonal and almost condescending. After reading reviews about Companion Animal Clinic, I decided to try them. I'm glad I did. Everyone is so kind, and our vet is wonderful. I always receive a follow up call a few days after a visit to make sure my cat is doing well, and that I have no concerns. I highly recommend this vet.

So very friendly. Check in was easy on a cold rainy night. The ladies on the phones take the time to hear everything you are concerned about, and the Dr. doesn't rush you off the phone after she sees your pet. So happy I switched from middletown vet!!!! A+++ service for sure.

Dr. Russell and Dr. Crozier have both been outstanding with my "boys". My interactions with them are always pleasant and informative. They are always more than happy to thoroughly explain everything. They are very knowledgeable, very attentive, and their follow-up with pet owners is second to none. I highly recommend them.

When I adopted my dog, CAVA Vet was recommended to me by friends. It was my dog's first appointment after being is the shelter and it was important to me that it was a good one. My dog got so many treats on her first visit. The doctors and staff were amazing. We've taken her in since and I'm happy to say my dog is not afraid to go to the vet!

THE BEST♡ Fear Free Certified Veterinary practice. Pets are always cared for in the most "stress free" way! Happy visits with your doggies is a great way to help alleviate stress at future vet appointments and is highly recommended by the doctors and technicians (once you are a client there)!???? ???? I was visiting Delaware from Florida and helped a family member with an abandoned cat colony from a hoarding situation. One of the cats needed immediate medical care and Companion Vet made the time to fit me into their schedule. Dr. Russell was exceptional in advising us based on the situation. She helped relieve the cat's pain and gave us a good followup plan and I was not charged outrageous fees or pressured into having unnecessary medical procedures/vaccines/shots. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I've had with a vet and animal emergency. I would highly recommend this vet.
