Sarah's Studio Landenberg, Maryland

Took my miniature poodle to this place to be groomed. Tried to tell the owner how I wanted her cut. She cut me off and said she new what I wanted and would take care of it. She did not. I stressed that I wanted her cut short because she got hot when long. I was told dogs don’t sweat so cutting her short wouldn’t help her stay cooler.This lady “seems to be “ an expert on everything dog. Going as far as to tell me I needed to have a skin tag removed from my dog’s eye lid or she would go blind. Mind you, my veterinarian told me the tag was fine and with my dog being older they didn’t really recommend it being removed. First and last time there. I guess if you don’t have an opinion on anything this place is fine because she has enough opinions for everyone.

Sarah does a great job. She groomed our previous dog many times. Now, she trims our two puppies. They look great after their first grooming!

I have taken my wire fox terrier there twice now and I have been very happy with results. Chauncy looks like a show dog and I am very proud. Great grooming studio!

Always a great job when I get my dog groomed there. Been going there for a few years now. Never had a bad cut. ????????????????

Sarah's Studio is not a good place to take your dog, especially if your dog has never been groomed before, has anxiety, or is a rescue. They do not cater to dogs with special needs, and your concerns will not be taken very seriously here. During my time at Sarah's Studio, I was condescended and made to feel less knowledgeable than staff. I will never be taking my dog back there. Took my rescue for her first visit to Sarah's Studio. I knew I could feel totally relaxed leaving her with them, they love the dogs and treat each one as individuals. I am taking my 11 year old pug there tomorrow, completely comfortable knowing that he'll be treated carefully and kindly when I know I wouldn't feel comfortable taking him any place else right now.

I became concerned immediately upon my arrival. My initial interaction with them was not friendly or professional . The first person I spoke with (assumed it was the owner but can't say for sure) was ..well frankly...unfriendly and arrogant. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my two dogs with them and literally left and did not leave my dogs with them for grooming. To be fair I can't comment about the quality of work but my dogs are family members and if I don't have some level of comfort about their care while I'm not there, I'm not leaving them.

Sarah did a wonderful job on my Labradoodle, Ginger! I'd highly recommend her and will be taking Ginger to her for every hair cut now!
