I was recommended to try here after our vet closed for the holidays early due to a COVID-19 issue with their staff and couldn't be happier. Our husky pup is not the easiest customer by any stretch of the imagination and they gave her the cleanest nail trim she's had in three years.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and my dog looked great after his grooming session. Pricing is also a bonus here, you get bang for your buck. Officially our new groomer!!!

I couldn't be more appreciative of finding the Dirty Dog! We just recently moved back from Florida, and I needed to find another groomer for my very anxious pup. On the day of my appointment, I had a major ordeal in getting my dog’s shot records faxed over before her appointment. Being eight months pregnant, I had to drive across the city to get printed records, and long story short, I felt so embarrassed I almost canceled my appointment because I was going to be very late. They were SO understanding and still took her and did an AMAZING job. My dog regularly gets cut every 4-5 weeks, and the first groomer I found here in Delaware did not cut her as low as I asked. Even when I sent her back in to get cut shorter, they still didn't cut her correctly. The Dirty Dog did a FABULOUS job! I am SO glad they are closer, clean facility and everyone was very friendly. Before I left, I scheduled my dog’s next three appointments.

The groomer always provides a great wash, trim, whatever... The service is always professional, and my furry babe is so dapper upon departure.

Love this groomer! They not only do a wonderful job on my two dogs, they're very caring and compassionate. Noting if my dog is acting differently (she was lethargic) and pointing out a small lump that they didn't notice before. Extremely professional groomers!! HIGHLY recomend!

The staff is super friendly and they gave my dogs the best haircut they’ve ever had! My Morkie also had a little irritation around his eye and they had it cleaned up and looking good by the time I picked them up!! 5 stars all the way around! Highly recommend The Dirty Dog!!????

I took my rescue mix in there today. I've only had for 6 months but have tried clipping her nails twice, once myself and once at her vet. Neither went well. But today when I took her to Dirty Dog, she was in and out in 5 minutes, costing me a mere $10. I don't know the woman's name who took care of her, but she was very sweet to my little dog and very friendly. This will be my groomer from now on. Thanks Dirty Dog! Nova's nails look great :)

Been going here for years, now our children take their pets there too. Always pleasant, professional and they do a wonderful job.

Update.. I've tried several groomers that are more convenient and keep coming back to Dirty Dog. They do the BEST job de-shedding my very hairy dog. We recently added a 6yr old 38 lb. terrier mix with severe foot issues. They manage to trim all his nails, which is not an easy task! I'm happy to drive the extra distance knowing I will happy the results. First time there & am very happy with everything. My dog looks & smells great. The people were so nice. She is extremely hairy & they did a fantastic job brushing her out. Definitely will be back !

Took both my dogs for a general grooming - wash with nails and coat trim. Staff were friendly, professional and the cost was very reasonable. The most important thing though was that the dogs seemed to have enjoyed their experience.

NO PROPER SYSTEM on anything just aWHATEVER MOOD OWNER FEELS NECESSARY for any customer (Does Not Do background research for new hires) also hired Alcoholic he was really nice so she kept him there for months! so essentially anyone can have your address and phone number because no research) WITHHOLDs NAILTRIMMING TIPS UNLESS IT IS DIRECTLY GIVEN CASH

Our dog always comes back well-trimmed. They couldn't trim his nails, but he's pretty bad about that. He seems less happy here than elsewhere, but dogs are weird about that sort of thing sometimes. I don't think of it as a problem.

Very friendly staff, attentive groomers.

We took our sweet 6 month old Golden puppy here for a bath/deshedding and nail trim. When I picked her up, they said she was loud and barked alot. They said they had to muzzle her because she didn't like the dryer and barked alot. Puppies should never be muzzled! The total for the bath and nail trim for our puppy was $87.00. I thought that was high and asked them to break it down which they did not do. She said they have a fee for difficult pets but wouldn't tell me the price. I normally go to a home business...but unfortunately she was booked. Also have been to Camp Bow Wow for baths, nail trim and they love Bailey and all say she is the sweetest puppy. I definately will not be going back to The Dirty Dog.

This place abused my childhood dog in the mid 90's. I don't know what the current ownership is like, all I know is that my Australian Shepard Pidge could not walk for three days. I was extremley saddened to see the place is still In business and I hope that no other dogs were harmed or are being harmed

I take my dogs their to get their nails done. They do a great job and are very fast. They even can handle my one dog that no other place will do because he doesn't like his feet touched and will snap at you. They get 5 stars from me!

What a great place! The people are so nice and really love the animals.You can tell they enjoy the work, my dog looked awesome and had zero issues. HIghly recommend this place.

I have been taking my dog there faithfully every 4 weeks for 3 years. I have a small dog who tends to be a little temperamental and high maintenance. They are always so wonderful and loving towards him! His haircuts come out beautifully, he smells wonderful and is so soft every time he leaves . I am very happy would highly recommend this Groomer! Britney is our girl she is excellent !! But the whole staff is very accommodating !
