I can honestly say that Dr Jones and Dr Bevens are Awesome Vets and they really cares about your animals. I had a dog and cat that passed away in 2016/2017. My cat passed away first of cancer in Dec of 2016, he was 23 yrs old and my dog passed away 5 months later at age 15. She had health issues with Cushions Disease that turned into cancer. However, I believe that she died more of a broken heart. Both my cat and dog were very close. I took both my animals to them since I moved in the area in 2002. Anyway, I finally adopted 2 last chance cats in March 2018. I was going to take them to Dr Jones but people were telling me how great another vet was. Long story, and I will say that South Gate is by far one of the best Vets around. Not only are the vets amazing and true animal lovers, the office staff really care, they are pleasant to talk to, & always willing to help. They are also very decent with their prices and are willing to work with you. I can honestly say that if you take your pets here that they are in good hands of a wonderful group of very loving & caring vets and staff. Thank you for all that you do♥️

UPDATE: After being treated by Dr. Alexander like she didn't have time or an interest in helping our dog, we found another vet. Dr. Alexander told us that she'd have to sedate our dog to do xrays. Turns out, that wasn't necessary. The new vet got perfect pictures without sedation. Turns out, our dog had an aggressive bone tumor. I know that nothing could have been done to save her, but precious time was wasted due Dr. Alexanders lack of compassion and attitude. I will NEVER spend another cent at that practice as long as she's still there. First off, Dr. Jones has always been a wonderful vet. We've followed her across the county for years, and have never had a problem with her. The last couple visits for our dog was with another Dr at the practice because Dr. Jones wasn't available, and we felt it couldn't wait. We were completely disappointed with the care/service we received. So much so that we took our dog elsewhere. I've made our disappointment known to the practice, but never received a reply. So, from past experience, I can recommend Dr. Jones. Her partner, however, not so much.

This experience was awful. I was already very emotional with the whole situation and they made me feel like I was trying to get rid of an old stuffed toy. I felt judge in a moment when I needed empathy and support.

I love love love going to this vet, always fair prices, always sees my pets right away basically like going to the ER vet without ER vet price! They are super nice and professional and are more affordable than any other vet in the area, highly recommend :)

My first time to this hospital. I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Burns to treat my sickly cat. She was kind, attentive and sympathetic. My cat was sent home and I was asked to call if she had gotten worse. I had a follow up appointment at Noon. I called the office to advise that my cat was worse than yesterday and I asked if I could bring her in. I was told that Dr. Burns would needed to be contacted to see if she would be able to come in earlier and I would be contacted back. I called within a half hour later asking if they heard anything or if I could come in. I was placed on hold. My cat died in my arms as I was on hold. When they came back on the line, I was in hysterics and then I was asked to bring her NOW. People always remember how you made them feel. Definitely an unfortunate situation. All the best to Southgate.

They took great care of my senior dog. The vets here are compassionate and helpful.

I love taking my 2 dogs and 1 cat here. We've been going for 3 years. All of the vets have been amazing. Kind and loving to our animals. I've taken my dogs here for yearly vaccines and treatment. We've saved a lot of money going to this facility vs the other vets in the area. You can always get an appointment right away. And they contact you to schedule your yearly visit, which I really appreciate.

Me and my dog love this place. The staff are just wonderful.
