We took our two pups in for their initial visit to become established as new patients. Dr. Don was personable and very interested in our dogs' welfare. He addressed several concerns with our older dog. Very impressed and glad we decided to bring our precious dogs to him.

I’m new to the area and hadn’t yet found a veterinarian for my 17 year old cat. She got very ill and it was apparent that she needed to be euthanized. Georgetown Animal Hospital allowed me to bring her in. I was obviously distressed; Dr. John was understanding and supportive. He took his time, explaining everything and giving me all the reasons that this was necessary. I am very grateful for all he did to make this sad experience as tolerable as possible, even though my cat had never been a patient of his.

I know people have said it's got or miss and at first I would've agreed but after 2 visits I couldn't be happier. Once they had more than one visit with me any my baby it's been great. Highly recommend Dr. Don and his staff. Very pleasant experience and the staff are very friendly

Poor Customer Service, Disrespectfull Attendant, Veterinarian took the word of his wife over the person from the Chamber of Commerce checking out the business! Person Checking out the Business was A Veteran pleading for decent service and they received Yelling, Smart Talk, and to go with the fact he just averted a calamity right in front of their place of business ;0( you just get absolutely NO RESPECT AS A VET!!!!! THANK ME FORY SERVICE, YEAH RIGHT!!

Would not help with the animal I had was to busy and wouldn't take it cuz was not a costmer of theirs

Dr John and Nicole will forever be remembered for the compassion and empathy expressed when our dear Holly was called home. If another dog finds their way into our life we would gladly use Georgetown Veterinary Hospital again.

It was an extremely sad and difficult time, but the entire staff treated me and my beloved dog with kindness and sincere empathy. My heart hurts, but their respectful treatment was appreciated.❣️

No heart check, lung check no ear check had left ear infection. Happy people nice service. Gums not checked he was anemic? Great otherwise.. busy clinic.!! Great for you all. Thank you so very much. I'll check the other exams not done. Thank you all.

Dr. John is excellent vet! Loves dogs, very friendly! He takes his time to understand your pet and make sure you understand also!

Great store! Fast & efficient!

Not sure what happened, maybe a misunderstanding but I heard so many good things. I called and paid $50 to reserve my appointment for a month away. Got there and expected a complete exam as my dog was a new patient. Also wanted to talk about switching his insulin. The tech wrapped my 24 lb dog in a towel and held him down while the vet listened to his heart. He attempted to,look into his eyes because of a green discharge and said it was allergies but he really didn't look in his eyes very long. That was about it, no glucose test, no feeling around his belly, actually he didn't really touch him, then he said he had to go. It was weird. The staff was super nice and rooms were very clean. Sorry for the 2 star, maybe I expected too much.

A few weeks ago, at the height of the virus lockdown, my 6-year old dog, Harley Grace, contracted kennel cough from a fox near our home. We had just moved to DE and needed a steady, dependable vet. After four or five fruitless calls to veterinarians closer to our home -- and four or five responses that the veterinarian's office was overworked/understaffed -- I called Georgetown Animal Hospital. They, too, were incredibly busy -- but agreed to treat Harley Grace. Dr. John and his protege were kind, polite, professional, and competent. Harley received excellent treatment -- results were prompt and thorough. Suffice it to say, Dr. John and his staff are simply wonderful.

Took my older dog here, DrJohn had some different ideas on treatment for my aging dog. Highly recommend Dr John, nice staff, kind caring practice!

I've been going there for years. Both Don and John are great vets. Helpful and great to deal with. Never had a bad experience

The staff here are so friendly AND knowledgeable. My dog can get very nervous around other dogs but we never have to sit around and worry about potential interactions with others in the waiting room.

Love this place everyone is pleasant and efficient. Love the Vets very knowledgeable. Bed side manner is top notch. Highly recommend. Take both my babies.

called in to find out how much a small dog spay would cost no extra issues $480 was the quote. Talk about ripping people off SPCA had same for 150 and Dover Spay has it for $110 Highly suggest shopping around..

The receptionist was so nice & patient to find an appointment that worked for me. Can't wait to meet the staff at our first appointment!

Called them my 16 year old bull terrier, couldn't walk, I decided he would have to be euthanized. I called to get an appointment to have that done I was asked if he could wait 2 days.

Very friendly knowlegable & kind staff and Drs. Would recommends over and over again!

My dog is very sick i called on Friday and asked if they would see him and pay on Tues bc I was worried he would not make it till tues when I get paid and they said they would not. So pretty much paper is more important to them then a dogs life.

They are kind and caring they genuinely care about my dog as much as I do
