I really like Family Veterinary Clinic because the staff are always very friendly, The doctors and assistant are very professional and are kind. They obviously love all animals and treat them like their own fur babies!

Family Vet is the best place to take your animals. One of mine was abused and has trust issues. They take the utmost care of her! They will give me over the phone info to try if it is suitable and good medicine practices before a vet visit as she needs to be put on a calming med just to come in. Even during COVID when we parents/owners weren’t allowed in, they made sure she was safe and comfy and trusting of them before doing anything- and if she didn’t let them do something, they let me know and we waited until I could be with her. They also take excellent care of my other pup who is high energy lol

My dog is very nervous in new situations. Every one at Family Vet has been so kind and patient with her!

We’ve been using Dr. Varner since 2007; been wonderful! The staff is great as well! You can absolutely trust them to care for your fur friend :-).

My dogs love going to see Dr. Yates! She is very compassionate. She listens and gives great advice.

We value Family Veterinary Clinic so much we do not mind the travel from Catonsville in Baltimore County to have our Bichon examine.

We have been bringing our three fur babies to Family Veterinary Clinic for years and they have always taken excellent care of them. They are professional and caring, and with a busy practice they do whatever they can to help accommodate you.

As a new patient, there were a couple of glitches in the beginning that prompted concerns and questions. Both were addressed in a timely and professional manner. The techs were wonderful and the front desk, even while extremely busy, was attentive and concerned. Dr. Edwards, while not the vet I initially saw, returned my call the same day.

Have used family vetfor at least 30 years until our last dog passed away . They were always there for our dogs with excellent care and concern.

Bibi and Watash were FVC clients for their entire 17 years. They approached their appointments with enthusiasm --- despite a touch of apprehension. They always received compassionate thorough care with unfailing follow-up. They and I wholeheartedly recommend the staff, doctors and the up-to-date facility.

I absolutely love this place. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful.

Since moving to Maryland 7 years ago we have been welcomed by Dr. Kristin Varner-Maslar and her team. They have always been professional shown compassion towards Beacon our Maltipoo. Coming from a smaller community in the Midwest it took time for us to acclimate working with veterinary technicians to administer shots and such but none the less we have adjusted and been quite happy. Anytime we have left messages for the veterinarians they have responded in a timely manner. The one thing we are still adjusting to is seeing a variety of veterinarians in the practice instead of just one. Even with that being said we would absolutely recommend Family Veterinary Clinic.

We've had our pets at Family Veterinary Clinic for 5 years. We've been pleased with the care until the past year. Several times, our dog has been sick and needed care. Appointments were unavailable for at least a week, and we were told that if they couldn't wait, to bring them to the Vetrinary Emergency Service in another town. If the vet is not available to treat common ailments within a short period of time, then they are not taking care of your pet, just doing the easy stuff like annual visits and shots. There should be time set aside for urgent visits.

I would highly recommend this veterinarian clinic! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! I am a new dog owner and they helped go through everything with me and thoroughly explained the difference vaccines and gave me great recommendations for caring for my pup! They truly care about the animals that come in to their clinic!

New to the area and had to take my dog in for her Rabies shot. Several people recommended Family Veterinary and they weren't wrong. Their COVID protocol almost made my life easier. I waited in the car and a tech came and got her. While she was inside I was able to run a nearby errand and get back before she was done. The Vet called me on my phone and discussed her exam and her recommendations for shots she might need being here in Maryland. She wasn't pushy just informative. They then called and I paid over the phone. Easy peasy!

The friendly staff at Family Veterinary Clinic has been nothing short of amazing! Cyrus is my first puppy and the staff has been taking excellent care of him since September 2020. Any time I had a question or concern, the staff responded in a timely manner and helped me with Cyrus. I am extremely grateful for the staff and thank them for their excellent care of my puppy. If you are looking for a premier Vet, I highly recommend the Family Veterinary Clinic for all your animal needs!

They have been part of our family for 20 yrs. through 3 dogs & 5 cats - all serviced with compassion. Update- They continue to be a valuable asset to the family! I appreciate that they do follow-up calls after one of our pets has been in , just to make sure all is going better for our fur-babies.

We moved to the area during covid and chose this vet based on reviews. I was so pleased after our initial wellness visit - I highly recommended them to friends in the area. I feel so mislead and stupid now. After seeing them for over a year for an issue with our dogs snout, we have been drug along with no solution or access to the vet. When her old surgery scar opened back up, they could not see us for two weeks! I had contacted them two days prior to the wound reopening after noticing swelling with no return call. After I said we were leaving their practice and to send her records to me, an appointment magically appeared for the next day! I’m leaving this review to let others know to BEWARE and to make sure that you chose a vet that cares about your animal, and is AVAILABLE. I am currently at an overpriced ER vet having her seen. When our dog had an issue stemming from a prior biopsy scar from this practice, the vet wasn’t there. Beware!

Family Veterinary Clinic is awesome! The staff has always been very friendly amd helpful. I have never had an issue scheduling and appointment or refilling prescriptions and my pup is always happy when he comes out. They address concerns and questions quickly and you can definitely tell there is passion to what they do. I am very happy this is the vet we chose for our pups.

Took our new miniature poodle puppy for her first checkup, and everything was great, from timeliness, complete physical, couple of vaccinations, and a detailed overview of the results with suggestions. Very professional and look forward to the next appointment.

Family Veterinary Clinic is the best place to take your animals. They are very caring vets and the staff is outstanding. They have helped us to much with our animals. They truly love animals and it shows.

I recently brought my 8-year-old cat to Family Veterinary Clinic after a bout of stomach issues. Dr. Edwards, Jamilla, and Alyssa took care of him and did a FANTASTIC job. Based on past experience, he does not like going to the vet, so he can be tough to deal with. I appreciate everything that they did to get him feeling better again! Would definitely recommend this vet.
