I'm new to Frederick and looking for a new vet so I tagged along with my friend and her dog who had an appointment. For the most part it went pretty well, but my friend had a few questions and the tech totally blew her off, talked VERY loud and sent her on her way with unanswered questions. The techs name was Shannon and she was very unpleasant so I don't think I'll be looking into this place as far as a new vet. No compassion at all, very arrogant. Nope don't want my animals around that!

We love Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic and have relied on them for the care of all of the 4-legged family members who have been part of our lives. Many of our dearly beloved pets have been patients at Yellow Springs and have received top notch care throughout their lives. They were treated with love, dignity and kindness throughout their lives. We have relied on Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic sinc8e it's opening many years ago. The entire staff is highly qualified, professional, compassionate and friendly. We are treated like family by all at Yellow Springs and we trust the Doctors and Staff to provide the very best health care for our beloved 4-legged family members. I have since moved from the area and still drive back to Yellow Springs Vet. They treat me and my dog very well. I have always felt like options have been explained to me in a simple, but thorough manner. I have never felt pressured into purchasing anything. I've only ever felt the care and compassion of the team working on my dog. Their staff (front desk, techs, and vets) has always been phenomenal. I cannot recommend them enough!!

I trust that the entire staff is committed to taking the best care of their patients and patrons. Every issue with my 17 year old dog has been handled with the best diagnosis, treatment and compassion. The front desk staff, the vet technicians and the veterinarians are all very knowledgeable and professional. We see Dr. Geof Rupert primarily and I can’t say enough great things about his veterinary skills and compassion.

This was my first time at Yellow Springs Vet Clinic with my cat and they were excellent. We were seen on time, the staff was kind and proficient and asked excellent questions. I have used other vets in the area, but Yellow Springs stands out as a great place for pets and owners.

Our Airedale began limping (! The breed is renounced for being stoic) and at the recommendation of our vet we took Dicey to Yellowsprings. The vet that saw her was very compassionate and reviewed xrays and other findings with us. Sadly, there was no remedies available for our 12+ year old pet.

Friendly and professional staff, very loving and caring towards my dog whom I have been taking to YSVC since puppy-hood (6.5 years). YSVC is very good about suggesting the right vaccinations/ medications your pet does or does not need and never tries to force unnecessary services on me or my dog. I would recommend Yellow Springs Vet Clinic to everyone!

They know my animals by name, very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Caring and compassionate. I have been going there for 20+ years and love them. They are like family.

Yellow springs veterinarians and staff are very kind and professional. I never feel rushed when we are there.

I've been using this vet for almost 2 years. They've always been great at explaining what is going on with my pets. This week, I called in the morning because my dog was having breathing issues due to allergies. They squeezed her in between appointments within an hour of my call, did a thorough exam, and took xrays. All of this was last minute, but they tended her as if we had an appointment. I can't say enough great things about everyone at this office. Their prices have always been extremely reasonable. I can't recommend them enough!

I have been taken Jasper to them, since he was a kitten. They all nice, caring, professional, excellent customer service. We had to put our other cat Taz - Black and White picture below to sleep a month ago was sick and slowly dying. They were so caring, let us know it ok what we were doing and Taz would not be suffering anymore. Plus they did not rush us. They put us in a beautiful room and told us to take our time. I would recommend them to anyone that has animals! ❤️

They were able to fit in Rose (Chocolate Lab Female) and Dr. Bernard was very professional and knowledgeable when she explained what they were going to do for Rose and why. Ask for Dr. Bernard!

Yellow Springs has been such a breath of fresh air, compared to my last vet. I can sit in the exam room with my animals. All the vets an techs that I've worked with so far have been unbelievably kind, thorough, and professional. The price for the service is not bad at all. I would recommend Yellow Springs Vet Clinic to anyone in the Frederick area.

Dr K went the extra mile for my dog recently and we so appreciate the care and kindness of all the vet techs and dr's here, so great!

I had a very sick pug- even though they were booked, they still made time to see my dog. She needed overnight care and the vet personally called the emergency hospital to arrange care, and continued to monitor my dog’s status even though she had moved facilities. Sophie ended up needing exploratory surgery which I chose to have done at Yellow Springs- by then she was critically ill- Fortunately, Dr. Ruppert and his incredible staff were able to “save” her. It was a long, anxiety filled week, but the entire staff at Yellow Springs were empathetic, professional, and just plain cared!!! They kept me informed, they had up front fair pricing, and I truly felt that my dog and I mattered to them. The entire team had been so dedicated to helping Sophie, I have other pets, both dogs and cats, and Yellow Springs will be everyone’s Veterinarian!

Just had a wonder visit with Dr. K and the team at the Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic. They were fabulous with both our furry family member and his pet parents. I highly recommend Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic.

We have been going to Yellow Springs since 1994 when they were at the old place in Yellow Springs with Dr. Barbour, who we love dearly. We had our first little girl Georgie who we loved very very much. Georgie lasted 16 years Dr. Barbour took excellent care of her since she was 3 months old. Now we have the three musketeers and they are receiving the some excellent care that our Georgie received. We will not go any where else.

The absolute best veterinarian practice ever! Randy Barbour, Geoff Ruppert and Jo Grisby along with all the staff at YSVC are amazing. We have been clients of this practice since 1995 and every visit exceeds our expectations. We are so grateful to have YSVC in the Frederick community to care for our beloved animal family. The whole staff is SO wonderful and caring!! I literally walked in for the first appointment (first time there) and was taken care of right away. Little to no wait time in the lobby, and was escorted to the exam room. The technician was very knowledgeable, and was super nice and professional. The Veterinarian, Dr. Barbour was fantastic!! He was super thorough and gentle with our pup. Took great care of us and our pup! Definitely a loyal client from here on!!!

This was our first visit to Yellow Springs, and I can’t say enough great things about the experience! Each time I called I was greeting and helped by the friendliest staff. When at the clinic, my sweet but scared cat was given a fresh white blanket sprayed with Feliway to help calm him along with two types of treats. He was treated with such love and care. Dr. Rupport was excellent; kind and professional. I was pleased he didn’t push unnecessary testing and went with the easiest and least expensive treatment. Best vet experience ever!

The entire staff at Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic clearly loves animals! Every time I take one of mine in, no matter the reason, I leave feeling like my pets are their favorites. And other clients I have spoken to feel the same way. They make my animals feel special, which makes me feel special. I have gone through end-of-life experiences with them for several pets now, and I have always been truly awed by the degree of caring I have felt at those times. The entire staff shares a love of animals-- and their owners-- that I have never quite felt anyplace else. Yellow Springs will always be my veterinary clinic.
