We took our dog Riley here in 2020. We were met with incredibly responsive, caring and knowledgeable staff that took wonderful care of our boy. 1 year later and you would never know that he had surgery! Absolutely love this place!

I ❤️ Skylos soooo much! My pup had major hip dysplasia in both hips and we opted to do a total hip replacement on one side for the time being. Dr. Peter Lotsikas is amazing! He walked me through the total hip surgery, and answered all of my questions. Now that we’re 6 weeks after the surgery, he has given my playful pup a new outlook on life. However, he did warn me that although he can fix the bad hip, what he can’t fix are the bad behaviors my pup would develop after she started to feel better ????. But that’s ok… I’ll take the counter surfing over my pups painful hips, any time ???? Skylos, thanks for helping my pup with her painful hips!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can't say enough about SKYLOS Sports Medicine. My yellow lab, Henry and I received outstanding service. In the past two years, Henry has had to have not one but two TPO surgeries for his ACL in two different legs. Both surgeries went well and I felt as though he received the best possible care, attention and results he could have. I received outstanding professional, compassionate, and responsive communication throughout the entire process. Specifically Dr Kennedy and Rebecca patiently answered ALL my questions and concerns as I had many. Some may find the surgery costs expensive, but I felt it was a good value with ALL that it involved. They used quality (human grade) product in the repair and that was important to me.The costs were ALL inclusive and I liked the fact I had NO additional financial surprises. I had faith in Dr Kennedys ability as I asked him about his credentials and experience and was satisfied with his answers. My dog is one of our family and I wanted him cared for as such and I felt he received that level of care and concern. Dr Kennedy followed up with me late one evening when I had a concern, Rebecca quickly answered all my e-mails which is how we handled much of our communication. She was so thorough in providing details of the surgery to ease my mind- actually better than the hospital that my husband had surgery at. This was all done unfortunately during the pandemic so I had no other contact than email and telephone, but they made it work successfully. Dr Kennedy also diagnosed a life threatening problem for Henry after the second surgery which required care at another well known surgery center. I expected the same level of service that Skylos offered, but was sadly disappointed. I would highly recommend Skylos to anyone that has a pet needing orthopedic surgery- THEY are the BEST!

We had to take our lifelong dog to get put down unexpectedly and the staff treated us with the most respect, understanding and compassion we could’ve asked for. They were so patient, considerate, and accommodating to make our goodbyes meaningful and special and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for such an awful time. Dr. Ana Schreiner made the process seamless and humane, and vet tech Sarah was with us every step of the way; she even brought out the collar we accidentally forgot to our car before we left! We are so thankful and were so blessed by the staff here, we can’t thank you guys enough.

Holly. Holly is the one to answer questions (*any* question, no matter how many), to get back to you quickly, to explain thoroughly in "happy meal terms" and she really cares (no cursory "how's your pet doing?" and walking away). My boxer mix had FHO surgery. During COVID. I had little to no idea what we were in for. Holly absolutely made the difference I needed to get myself, my family, and, most importantly, my dog to, and through, surgery and post op. I'm glad that Skylos has a Holly!!

Generally if you're visiting here, your furry friend has an issue, which is unsettling to say the least. Staff and vet we see here for orthopedic issues are professional and knowledgeable.

My experience at Skylos, with Dr Hummel, and with the staff was fabulous. Dr Hummel spent so much time with me and my dog. He was in no rush at all and there was no sense of urgency that he needed to move along and get to his next patient. The doctor also gave me all of my treatment options and there was no pressure to do anything costly. I truly left there feeling so happy with the consult and couldn't have asked for anything more. Dr Hummel was excellent!!!!!

Had to take our Chocolate Lab here for surgery and we were back for one of his followup visits. They did a great job with his surgery and are taking great care of him.

took way too long. Wont meet time limits that they give. I was only supposed to stay for 1 hour but i has to wait four 4 hours and 30 minutes. You can’t see your pet so they won’t be calm. I won’t go to this place ever again. Disgraceful!

I was referred here by our Vet and they were prompt with treatment, did not push unnecessary surgery, and if I had an issue after treatment, they were quick to respond, no matter the time.

First class business, from the doctors down threw out the staff. With the pandemic thats going on the staff works very well with the customers. I feel like my big guy is getting the best treatment possible. I would recommend!!!

My chocolate lab, Sammi, has been orthopedically vulnerable from four months old when abuse led to a broken leg. That and unfortunate genetics has meant three surgeries in the last five years (both knee ACLs and a hip replacement). Dr Leasure and Dr Lotsikas (along with Columbus Zoo's Dr Dyce for the hip) are fantastic people and brilliant clinicians. Their skill and professionalism have improved Sammi's life and directly contributed to her happiness and comfort. My trust and respect for their practice is absolute. Sammi's 10 now and doing great!

Dr Kennedy and the entire staff are excellent with your pet. The care and concern that they show is overwhelming. They give reminder calls and then follow up with another call the day after a procedure. I would highly recommend this facility for everyday issues as well as complex issues. I give Skylos 5 stars!!

My dog had surgery at this place which went well. I paid all expenses upfront as it is thier policy. Mind you it was close to $4000, when I arrived to pick up my dog after phone conversation about post surgery care they told me that unless I pay $33.00 outstanding bill which I did not know anything about it they would not release my pop I told them I don't have my wallet and would they mind billing me they refused. I leave this place with the very bad taste of care and professionalism. They had all my info and my wife's too phone#email address credit card. So be aware.

Our dog had 2 tplo surgeries at another facility. During the second surgery the drill bit broke and they had to redo the surgery. She then acquired MRSA from this and had to have a 3rd surgery for debriding and then 1 month of Chlorophenicol (I cannot tell you how many issues we had with the other vet). A few months later our dog's MRSA resufaced and we decided to find another orthopedic surgeon for her. We were referred to Skylos. I want to say that I wish we had know about this practice in the 1st place. The staff is amazing and Dr Hummel was fantastic. Our dog had to have a 4th surgery for debriding of the infection, debriding dead tissue of the bone and he also was able to repair a meniscal tear that he found. Our dog had some medication issues post surgery and with the antibiotics (she has bad allergies) and Dr Hummel was always available and always kept us super informed about everything. While they may be a little more expensive they are absolutely worth every penny. With TPLO surgery it is a 12 week recovery (per limb) if things go well. Because of all the issues we had with the other vet, it has taken us a year and 3 months to get her to recover and 2 extra surgeries and very heavy medications. I can't stress how important it is to find the right surgeon for this. I feel guilty we didn't take our dog to Skylos in the 1st place. They made a HUGE difference in my dog's quality of life. Thank you Dr Hummel and everyone in the office! You guys are awesome!

Staff and vets are knowledgeable, caring, gentle and friendly. Very efficient practice. Dr. Hummel has compassion and skill. I trust my dogs ortho care to them.

I personally feel five stars is not enough to rate Dr Peter, Dr Faith and their Team. They are hands down the only resource for my dogs if ever in need of Orthopedic care. From the time you call to set up an appointment to post op care, every single person is not only helpful, they are HAPPY to help you, answer any and all questions and make you feel extremely comfortable leaving your beloved pet in their care. My second experience with Dr Lotsikas was during COVID, when it is a very difficult and probably busier than ever time. Every single detail did not go unnoticed, as the team still proved to be the well oiled machine I've known them to be, never missing a beat. Not enough credit can be given for their every day effort, unmatched professionalism and superior expertise.

Phenomenal care of our dog and all dogs I have ever seen come through. The doctors are all very professional and the rehabilitation staff is great as well. My dog has now gone through two surgeries and they are kind, courteous, informative and helpful. I can't recommend Skylos enough.
