I’ve been bringing my 3 month old puppy here ever since his first vet appointment. Dr. Mira instantly made him feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Mira throughly explains everything and is always willing to answer all of my questions. Ashley goes above and beyond with the new pups and we’ve enjoyed the puppy class. All of her advice has been extremely helpful. Prices are fair, the team is extremely welcoming, and you can stay with your pup as long as you wear a mask! Very glad I chose HCAH for Tate’s first exposure to the vet.

They let you go inside as long as you wear a mask. And better deal than Banfield.

This is far away from home but honestly the best animal hospital so far. I called all the vets around my area for an emergency after my dog shattered his tooth in multiple places. He was bleeding. His pulp was exposed. No one cared to see my dog and they were giving me the option to book 2 months out, until I called HCAH. They listened to my concern and within the same day, he was able to be seen and put under anesthesia for a tooth extraction. And the prices were amazing as well. They followed up with me and called. They really care.

Let me start by saying this was the only vet in a 10 mile radiusI from my house that I could appointment with.So part of this is probably my fault because I should have never went to him. Right away he started saying my cat might have cancer or heart disease although he said physical exam was normal. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics that 5 different pharmacies had never heard of. All lab results were normal except platelet count which said decreased...but there was a note saying smear was unable to be read so results could be false...Shouldn't be telling all the details so let me say this...if my cat has Upper respiratory infection Nothing for it because the doctor gave wrong prescription.I paid almost $700 for next to nothing..Correction I did at cardboard box on the way out that I was forced to take ...and they actually charged me $10 for it

This place has been wonderful everytime ive come in. They saved my girls life after she ingested poison from a bait station. The team there at Howard County Animal Hospital went above and beyond my expectations to identify the product and treat my baby as fast as possible while maintaining comfort and reassurance in me thru this. I would never even consider going anywhere else. Such wonderful and incredibly important services they provide and they do it with their whole heart. Everywhere could use this place as an example of how to run a business. Brownie and i thank and appreciate everyone at Howard County Animal Hospital!!!

HIGHLY recommend this vet, i will take my babies there as long as they live. Staff and vet genuinely care and remember me and my pets when we come in, they take the time to explain things and are extremely empathetic. I especially love that they have a sign and candle in the waiting area to signal when someone is saying goodbye to a pet so that others know to be sensitive. I recommend this vet to all my friends.

The whole staff here is amazing. My cat was terrified and angry, but the tech and doctor were so sweet that she purred thru her eye and ear exams, AND her two shots. They are people that animals trust. That says a lot. Trust your animals

They managed to care for our skittish dog!

I was just here with my 8 week old kitten. Dr. Mira was amazing to us, very kind and professional. We were in and out quickly, but it did not feel rushed. Good prices and staff is nice.

Dr Mira is, seriously, the best vet around! He doesn't just care for our pets, he genuinely *cares about* them. I will never take my pets anywhere else, and always bring him up and refer him when talking about our dogs. We constantly get great comments about our dogs, about how healthy they are (and behavior too), yes, its the owners job to ensure our pets health, but having a vet that cares as much as you do about them...makes it so very easy to keep them at their best! He and his staff are always kind, professional, and just all together awesome (his prices are very fair, too). He tells it like it is, too, which is nice being able to have clarity about things and he explains things very well. Dr Mira has been our all star vet for over 10 years. I highly recommend Dr Mira, and a star rating of 1-5, I'd give him a 5+++++++++!! Oh...and our dogs LOVE him, too!! I can honestly say, when our dogs see him...its like seeing one of their best friends! Tails wag so hard, you wouldn't need a fan on a hot day, lol!!

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Mira for 9 years and I have never felt like I was not getting the best care. He is always willing to listen to your concerns about treatments (financial & otherwise). Like all practitioners, he does things they way he feels is best. It does not mean there aren't other ways to do similar care treatments but just as if you were the patient, you are in the drivers seat and can make educated decisions for your pet with the advice of a caring staff and Veterinarian. For these reasons and more, I do recommend Howard County Animal Hospital.

Professional and so easy to work with!

Everyone was so nice and helpful! I was worried my dog would panic but the staff were very gentle with her. They were understanding and made sure to break down my bill and explain what each charge was for, which is rare when you visit any doctor. They're definitely my go-to animal hospital from now on and I highly recommend taking your pet there as well.

Great care and friendly staff. Great social distancing procedures during the pandemic.

Dr Mira and staff are lifesavers for our rescue animals. They see a huge volume of very sick cats from the rescue and are always able to make room to see us the same day or next day. My current foster cat Sally would not be alive today without them. She was found an inch from death out on the street with a severely matted coat and huge, open, bleeding tumor. They removed her mats and gave her an emergency blood transfusion before performing emergency surgery to save her life. She is happy and sassy and enjoying the rest of her days indoors due to their fast action and professional knowledge. We appreciate them so much!

Called them when I got there, they picked him up from the car in his carrier, and brought him right back. Taking great COVID-19 precautions. Very friendly!

Told my mother and I that our kitten did not have any fleas or ticks and when we took her to a different vet, we were told she was covered with fleas. The medicine given to her for her ear mites also made her ears worse. Do NOT go here.

Dr. Mira and his staff are great. They fit me in for appts within a timely manner and I’ve never had an issue. I’ve taken both friendly and feral cats to them. I recommend them. ❤️

I love this place. The people that work there are great, caring, understanding and do everything possible to help your animal. The prices are very fair, especially for people like me who brings in injured/hurt cats from the streets

I've been going to Howard County Animal hospital for the past 14 years. Dr. Mira has always treated my animals with the utmost care and respect, always greeting them with a, "Hello cutie." He's become a legend in our house for being the fourth vet to see our sick puppy and he figured out what was wrong with her within two visits. A note to how the practice is dealing with COVID-19. For a while they were having everyone wait in their cars, but now they are allowing one family member to come in as long as they wear a mask. They still have plenty of appointments available. I've taken my dog there for a checkup and be today we took our new cat to get spayed. This evening she's already up and doing well.

Excellent Animal Hospital! The vet, Dr. Mira, truly cares about animals. He is very thorough in his examinations of animals and with whatever medical treatment is needed. Also, the staff there is very nice and professional. Imo, one of the better animal hospitals in the area to take your pet to.
