I made an 11 AM appointment for my cat so she could get her shots and have her pre-visit appointment before spaying. We arrived 10 minutes early and I called to check in dozens of times. The line was always busy. I figured they would check in with me eventually since they knew I had an 11 AM appointment and were just running behind. After I saw a car pull up a couple minutes after 11:30 AM and a girl got out to talk to someone at the door, I figured I could try to talk to the woman as well. When I got to the door, I saw a girl looking at me. I stood there for at least five minutes being ignored before someone checked me in in person. She said I was supposed to call and I explained the line was busy each time. She said I had to keep trying until I got through… Then I saw a vet tech come out and take care of the girl that had just pulled up who had an 11:30 AM appointment; meanwhile I have been sitting in my car for almost an hour waiting. And the girl inside knew that I had an 11 AM appointment when I checked in with her in person since I could not get through on the phone. So I called Vinsons animal Hospital in Towson (who picked up the phone on the first try) and they said that you could go in the exam with your pet & gave me other info. I contemplated canceling my appointment with Dundalk animal hospital and even tried calling the office line (that of course was busy) while waiting in my car. Finally someone came out to get my cat and I decided to go through with the appointment in Dundalk. Now I’m sitting here in my car waiting for my cat to come back wondering if I made a mistake… I decided I did make a mistake and will lose the exam fee amount for the Dundalk vet. I called Vinson‘s back and scheduled another pre-exam appointment and spay. I feel a lot more comfortable knowing my cat will be in more professional hands.

Inconsistency in medical staff assigned to your pet makes it difficult to build relationships and trust. Some doctors seem more competent and willing to educate. We've been patients for 5 years now and the appt system is definitely a better system and great option. I would like to see as a result a wait time decrease.

We had to put our dog of over 20 years to sleep. They were so compassionate and caring in this hard time, I would recommend them to anyone.

If you read "Bella Zellers'" review, please note she was a COMPLETE NUT CASE. I had made an appointment to bring in this Cat I'm trying to get healthy and I made a same day appointment. It was PACKED when I got there. Mrs. Zellers husband came in saying they had an appointment, the ladies at the front desk very nicely said "Sorry there's no record of you having an appointment today" He then sent her in and she proclaimed "SO YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE MY DOG." The ladies again told her she didn't have an appointment. She said "You don't need an appointment" the ladies at the front desk said "Since COVID our policy has changed." I know this is the case because I MADE AN APPOINTMENT. Mrs. Zelller continued to berate the ladies at the front and told them her dog was dying. The ladies told her she really should take her dog to the ER vet and she can give her the number and address. She refused to accept it and said she wasn't taking her dog anyway else... The ladies at the front never got mean or nasty or stooped to Mrs. Zellers' level. So while they were trying their best to see the dog went to get proper care (because if you're dog is dying you take it to the ER) Mrs. Zellers' was more concerned with trying to be "big and bad." Believe me all the other people with appointments were happy to see you go, and laughed at you the entire time. Also, the Vet I was very nice, and friendly, and didn't try to get me to buy a bunch of useless stuff. I appreciated her professionalism and care for my new furry friend.

Horrible place would not see my sick dog when I have been going there for years for all my animals I would never recommend them they almost killed my one dog 5 years ago and I had to bring him back by getting him on raw food diet terrible place

Doctors here are very good. Front office staff leave a lot to be desired. These girls dont know their own names on a good day, so if you call there with a complicated question don't expect any of the front office staff to give you the proper answer. Would have given them 5 stars if it weren't for the office staff being so ill informed.

You now have to schedule all appts.. took my girl in for shots , they didn't weigh her, take her temp , or even listen to her heart .. the poked her and said schedule an appointment to have the weight checked.. really? How did they know how much of the ???? she needed for her weight? I use to like this place.. but they want to hop on the bandwagon of just getting money and not caring about the animals you bring in .sad really..

I had always taken my pets here until one day my favorite veterinarian doctor maskol moved to a different practice. He is back and running the show. Although no place is ever perfect and everyone has a bad day overall the service is above average and the people are as friendly and professional as you treat them. They genuinely seem to care about my pets well being and for that I am grateful.

I went with my mother to take her Bulldogs in to get their nails clipped and to get their rabies shot. After they gave the shot and clipped the nails, The staff carried the 2nd bulldog Lucy over to me from out of the office and I noticed she was hot and I noticed a little blood on her nose. I thought maybe she scratched her nose but by the time I got to the car, Lucy’s nose started to bleed more. I didn’t understand why they would carry over Lucy when she went in walking but thought they were just being nice. The staff didn’t say anything to me about heat stroke or anything. Lucy then started to vomit. I immediately pulled over to the gas station and bought ice and poured it over Lucy give her more water. After getting her home, and being tentative to cooling her down, Lucy started to act herself again. But then I noticed not all of Lucy’s nails were finished being clipped. I believe Lucy became overheated at the hospital when clipping her nails and rather than try to cool her down, the staff didn’t mention anything to me about it almost as if they were trying to give her back as soon as possible so nothing bad would happen in their care. They should have been up front and honest with EVERYTHING. And they should have clipped all the nails but I’m glad to know that Lucy did pull through. I understand dogs can be overheated in the summer and can happen anywhere or anytime but the issue is the staff was not giving us all the details and try to cover it up.

They truly care about your fur babies when Dr Foster was there, however i recently had to take on of my fur babies there to make the hardest choice ever and i have to honestly say i hope they can turn themselves around and become caring and compassionate once again ! They were once great ! And i used to recommend them but i can no longer do that currently .

I know a lot of people had a bad experience in the past, but when my vet wouldn’t see Oscar because of COVID and it was an emergency, Dundalk told me to bring him right in. I’m glad I gave them another chance and I will continue to bring my boys here. Angie at the front desk is so nice. I can’t speak for everyone else but my last year of coming back here has been wonderful.

Our cat had a ruptured gland, so we took her to Dundalk Animal Hospital. The veterinarians and staff were knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. They answered all of our questions, and our cat is on her way to a full recovery.
