Boarded my dog here after consistently taking him to Furbaby in Milford. You get what you pay for. this is a boarding kennel, not a dog daycare so keep that in mind. I was more upset upon pickup when I was charged for a full day for Monday, even though I picked him up at 8am. Why are you charging me for that day when I’m not allowed to pickup Sunday? I would’ve picked him up the day before to avoid the additional fee if I could. This is just a hobby for these people. I don’t care how long they’ve been in business, you can tell. I saw other reviews about dogs being afraid of the man who works there, and I’m gonna have to agree with them. My dog is never afraid of people and has never looked scared of someone before. The man brought my dog to the car and stood there and made small talk. My dog jumped out of my car and I redirected him because he has strong recall. He got right back in the car and I was shocked to see the man SLAM my car door and tell my dog to stay in there?!?! Just unprofessional. I would never take my dog back here. I need piece of mind when I’m away that my dog is OK. I didn’t get that here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Don’t try to cheap out on dog care, it’s not worth it.

These folks are great to our dogs!

We have a 1 and a half year old german shepherd who stayed here for 3 nights. Before staying here he had no behavioral issues and no aggression. When we came back he was fearful of his kennel and showed agression towards our neighbor that he's familiar with and has been perfectly fine with in the past when she touched the kennel, he had no voice left, and we instantly started having small aggression issues. When we picked him up from his stay and asked how he was, an employee mentioned that the young employees were fearful of him and reluctant to interact with him. We were very surprised by this since he has never had problems with anyone he does not know and is normally a very friendly/playful dog. It took us 15 minutes to get him to come to us out of the kennel so we could take him home. We also received his bag of things back upon picking him up and noticed that the food we portioned out still had about 1/3 of the bag of food left when it should have been almost completely empty. We have since taken him to professional, licensed and insured dog trainers to be boarded for 2 weeks they immediately evaluated our dog with kennel fear and confidently said that something terrible happened to him when he was staying at best boarding kennels and that they are having to really work with him to show the dog not to be fearful of kennels. I would not recommend using this company.

Pleasant and helpful from start to finish. Clean private kennels with indoor and outdoor sections, screened from adjoining kennels. Reasonable rates. Grooming available.

I was very disappointed. I used this kennel 10 years ago regularly before moving out of state. I never had to have dogs bathed or anything. This time I was asked if I wanted the bathed and declined. When I picked my dogs up they were filthy. One has white paws and they were yellow and tan. They smelled, were sticky and just nasty. My shepherd who loves everyone. I mean everyone, was scared of the kennel attendant and actually growled at him when we approached the kennel at pick up. My old hound lost about 6 lbs and had a raging urinary track infection after pick up. I picked up at 10 am and was told they had not even had breakfast yet. When I arrived home (20 minutes) after picking up, all 3 dogs drank so much water, one even puked. Very disappointed.

My wife and I had recently purchased a Rottweiler puppy. This was back in October he was about 9 or 11 weeks at that time. Our 26th wedding anniversary was coming up in January. By then our puppy was getting huge and to much for our kids to handle on their own. So we started looking for family and friends we thought could watch our puppy while we were on our anniversary. We were getting scared. I went to Petsmart for something and asked them about some places. That was a dud. So my wife started looking on Google and found Best Boarding Kennels (BBK). She had talked to Jim who gave her all types of information and made us both feel like we want to visit this place. We came by and met Jennifer. She was just as nice and knowledgeable as Jim. They made us feel very very comfortable on leaving our puppy their. Long story short we have been back there twice and will continue to use them in the future. Hands down best pet boarding place around.

Best Boarding has always been very accommodating and flexible for our Boarding needs. They are so friendly and helpful even for our not so dog friendly pup. They always have had room for us.

We are newer to the area and were recommended best boarding for our dog. We had great service and our dog was well taking care of. Prices are good and the facility was nice.

Our two German Shepard Dogs were well taken care of during grooming. I’m very happy with the results.

Good setup. They have very competitive pricing. The team went out of their way to take care of my dogs. Limited pick up and drop off hours is the only thing I don't absolutely love about this boarding kennel.

You can tell they really care about the animals. So loving and welcoming when we bring our dog in. Always friendly and take care of the individual needs of each animal. Highly recommend them!!

I recently moved to Delaware and needed a place to board my dog. I am so glad I found this kennel, they are great with dogs and take good care of them. My dog was with them 2 months and he came home clean, healthy and happy. I would highly recommend the place and the staff, all are wonderful.

We've taken our dogs there for years for boarding & grooming & are very pleased. We will continue to use them.

Do not recommend. I showed up about 30 minutes before the schedule time for pickup as I was in a hurry that day. I arrived and there was urine and feces all over the dogs cages. I walked up to the cages and saw them spraying them out. I didn’t get the bath that they offered as I just bathed my dog. I went to get him and he had feces all over his legs. The kennel told me that’s why the recommended the bath because they will get messy. I will never take my dog back there and I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did.

The staff is nice and very caring for the animals. We have taken May, our old dog, there twice and have been very pleased with her stay at these kennels. Would recommend them to anyone.

Awesome care for your pet

This is the place to go if you are looking to keep your fur babies as comfortable as possible while away on vacation. They even washed our kids blankets for us before sending them home! Always friendly service and very accommodating for those with medical needs too.

Very nice people who make you feel comfortable when you leave your animals. They worked hard to make our boys comfy and help them acclimate to the kennel while we were gone.

We boarded our 2 year old Tennessee Treeing Coonhound here for five days. We payed extra for walking and taking her on a hike. Our dog was in good spirits when we came back. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!
