Four County Animal Hospital Damascus, Maryland

I’ve been bringing my dogs to Four County Animal Hospital for over 20 years. I currently live an hour away from Damascus but travel out there just to see Dr. Allison. There aren’t enough positive things I can say about everyone who works here, from the front desk to the vet techs to the vets.

Always a pleasure bringing my pets for their check ups. The staff is so caring and nice. They explain everything so clearly and easy to understand. Thank you simply the best.

Dedicated and friendly staff and the Doctors are very knowledgable and caring! Recommend longer Sat office hrs and at least one weeknight to compete with other local vets. Damascus is a bedroom community with many folks working and commuting to DC and need more flexibility to be able to bring in their beloved pets on non working/commuting hrs.

Friendly staff. Alot of great advice for a new puppy. Very affordable compared to other area vets.

Vet is very experienced and kind. She explained everything simply. Worked within my budget. Small place but adequate. I have an elderly cat with precarious health issues.

Dr. Allison is amazing with our cats! We have been going to this vet for four years and she has been patient and wonderful. The staff is so thoughtful and they remember who you and your furry ones are! They are also very considerate with difficult situations, such as when we had have our one year old kitten put down. Sent a sweet card signed by everyone and just so very caring. Love this vet office!

Dr. Dee Dee took excellent care of my cat! And everyone from the front desk to the resident kitty was super sweet to my baby. They made excellent recommendations for his treatment and the prices were reasonable. I think I’ve found a new home for Cairo ????

We have been using Four County Animal for 25 years and have always felt like our pets are part of the Four County Family. Our pets throughout the years have always receive the best and informed care. I trust and respect the knowledge and care from Four County.

I am flabbergasted at the 4+ star rating this practice has. Dr. Goodman performed an oral exam and diagnosed my cat with an infected molar. He prescribed an antibiotic, which I administered daily. The day I dropped her off to have the tooth extracted he called to tell me that when he attempted to reposition her tongue to get to the tooth, the "healthy part" of her tongue came off in his hand. She had cancer so advanced it had eaten through the connective tissue at the base of her tongue. How could that much damage have gone unnoticed during his exam several days before?

Very Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr's are on time and take the time to discuss any questions or issues. Hospital is clean and well kept . Love Dr A and all the staff at Four County Animal Hospital

Just started coming to Four County with my beagle, Bailey and I love the staff! They are so caring and knowledgeable.

Wasn't prepared to be wowed by an animal hospital, but Four County accomplished it with their caring and friendly demeanor. My rabbit turned up with a red, irritated-looking eye, so I called and they got her in with Dr. Allison the same day. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming and friendly, then I was doubly impressed that the intake sheet was just 1 page--not pages to fill out in duplicate as I've had at other offices. Dr. Allison is lovely: she explained everything she was doing as she checked my bunny, as well as her choice of medications. Then three days later, I was called, as promised to check on the bunny patient. Her eye was back to normal. I am so happy to have found a veterinarian close to home for my bunnies!

This practice is amazing! The are very nice and don't overcharge with with unnecessary fees. They're so gentle Dr. Allison and the staff are very gentle with the animals and treat them as if they are family I'm so glad I found them, they saved my rats life. My family and I will definitely be coming here in the future with our other pets. Thank you guys for everything!

The doctor is always ready on time, though never rushed. They will provide samples when available and write out suggestions if no samples available. Also, have been known to call & follow up on animals.
