Bennett Creek Animal Hospital Clarksburg, Maryland

I brought my 14 year old dog in for emergency today. Dr. Duncan and staff were efficient, thorough and very helpful. I appreciated that she explained things to me, listened to me (my anxiety makes me babble), and didn’t alarm me. The cost was surprisingly affordable compared to some other emergency veterinary practices in the area.

Best experience ever. Highly recommend to go here and avoid other emergency room wait times. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.

I rescued my German Shepherd in May and Bennett Creek Animal Hospital was on a short list of suggested vets. I saw why very quickly. They truly care. The animals and their owners come before making money. Fritz had an appointment Saturday with Dr.Deans. As soon as we left, I called my mom and told her she should start bringing her two dogs to Bennet Creek Animal Hospital too.

Sadly on December 18 my little constant companion, Pepi, passed away suddenly in my arms. To say I was beyond grief stricken and devastated would be an understatement. Bennett Creek Urgent Care took care of Pepi when I had to bring him in to them. They were so compassionate and kind, especially the male vet tech. That can make all the difference in the world in a profession where they sadly see loss probably almost every day. I won't hesitate to come back if they need arises for urgent care when it's not during my vet's hours.

Dr. Weiss and the entire Bennett Creek Animal Hospital staff could not have been more caring, friendly, and professional when I took my dog there on a Sunday morning. The whole team gave me a genuine feeling of concern that put my nerves to rest at what started out as very stressful. I’ve been to many urgent pet care facilities over the years, and Bennett Creek is by far the cleanest and welcoming place. I highly recommend Bennett Creek Animal Hospital.

Thank you so much Bennet Creek Animal Hospital. I arrived 15 minutes before closing and half expected to be turned away but figured I’d give it a try before going to another emergency room. I was so surprised when the young lady at the desk told me to come and check in. Given the late hour, not one staff member made me feel bad for coming in late. Just love, kindness, grace and hospitality. Everyone I encountered was just wonderful. From initial check in, to the other young lady that collected my clipboard and confirmed apt details would be sent to banfield, to the angel who brought Simbatu out to be weighed and handled her so well even as she was misbehaving. Dr. Walcott explained things well and was patient when I was explaining. I didn’t feel rushed at all and he even sprinkled in humor. I had some sticker shock with the cost but that quickly dissipated. Thank you Bennet Creek, you lot are just amazing. Different, in the best way possible.

I have 7 pets and I've been looking for a reliable, responsive veterinary office since I moved here 2 years ago. I finally found them. They are reasonably priced, offer a plethora of services, and are extremely professional and caring. The fact that they are also an urgent care and have a wide range of availability was the cherry on top.

The staff are phenomenal! They express such concern and care for your furbabies! I brought my pug in here after I received him from a family who no longer wanted him. He’d been neglected and has so many skin issues. The vet Dr. Hinkle was so confident and Bernie felt so comfortable with her.. he cried when she left the room. They took care of him and now he’s so much happier!!!! I would recommend this office to all my friends!!! We are coming back in 2 weeks and I can tell you … Bernie is already excited ????????????????????

In a pet crisis it is unbelievably comforting to have such a professional, upbeat team available after hours. The building was very nicely decorated, well lit, fully staffed, clean with spacious seating. All followed covid rules and disinfection. All procedures were fully discussed with accurate written estimate provided. will go again if needed

Everytime we have been there the staff has been very attentive and helpful. They are able to help get appointments asap and everyone we have seen has been so sweet and very helpful.

Emergency visit on a Sunday for injured cat - they were faster than expected in examining, evaluating and prescribing meds for my cat. One day later, the cat is much better. Clean, up to date facilities, pleasant staff, doctor took time to explain and vet techs were good with my cat and professional.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. They took great care of my dog. I felt that Shadow was truly cared for by them.

I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary practice!! I did not think my dog was going to make it, but he received wonderful, compassionate treatment and is slowly returning to normal. Highly recommend!

Really appreciate the whole team for taking the time to see my cat when she cut her lip and needed stitches. The team was professional and friendly, and the doctor explained exactly what happened, what treatment was needed, and what post-care steps to take. They made what could have been a very traumatic experience much more comfortable, both for me and my pet.

Absolutely amazing staff. From the initial phone call, I felt good about taking my pup here after he had eaten an entire Tbone Steak bone. I had read reviews to other recommended places and was nervous. Bennett Creek staff was professional and managed expectations from the first call. They communicated with my husband and I every step of the way. Dr. Duncan called me and let me to let me know step by step what the process would be. I would absolutely recommend this animal hospital should anyone ever have to take their animal in. The staff was friendly and I felt I could trust them with our puppy.

After having a very bad experience at the Emergency Hospital in Fredrick MD, I called Bennett and they said they could look at my dog, Cinnamon. They had told me that they had 1 dog ahead if I were to get there soon. After a 30 min wait, at 11:30pm, Dr Duncan saw my dog and I was so thankful for her and the team. They explained the options for treatment and the costs associated and I when home with the comfort that she was well diagnosed. - Thanks team BCAH!

Brought my dog in the 1st time last month they didn't fix him the 1st time now he has the same problem again & there giving me different prices smh never again will I go here !!!

Dr. Walcoff and Dr. Deans always take such good care of our dogs. We went there recently for a wellness visit and immunizations, and the check in process was smooth and quick, and I didn't even need to go inside! UPDATE: We had to take our dog in for removal of a cyst on his eye, and the process went very smoothly and safely and he already looks so much better! It's great to know that Bennett Creek now has urgent care and evening hours, so I don't have to take my dogs to a vet I don't know in case of an emergency, they can just see the same great team we know and love!

I can't even begging to describe how excellent the doctors and staff are at Bennett Creek. I had a urgent situation. My veterinarian of 28 years found a lump on my dog near her spleen and with X-ray he could not tell how serious it was but he needed to have an ultrasound performed to have a assurance that this was even operable. The specialist of ultra sound was busy due to COVID so the the only time we could get him to look at my dog was in 3 weeks. I was desperate and called many urgent care places at my veterinarian suggestion to get a ultra sound ASAP and I could not get anyone to see my dog in les than 3 weeks. I called Bennett Creek and they were busy also but Joanna explained to me that the spleen could be serious and could rapture at any time as my vet explained, but also if it is too far gone it was best not to do anything if the lump had spread or f it was cancer. She said she will try her best to see if she could get my dog in less than 3 weeks. I got a call back in 30 minutes and Joanna said she spoke to the company that does ultrasound and they could come and do the ultra sound the next day .. I was in shock... I told her she is amazing and took my dog in .. they found that the lump was larger than expected and the doctors explained to me all options, including the possibility that after surgery she could only live a few months if it was cancer and it was all up to me on the steps to take and they would do the best to give her the best quality of life. I opted to do the surgery and Dr. Duncan did the surgery and kept me posted before and after surgery. The great news was that my dog did not have cancer and the spleen was removed and all worked out for the best. If it was not for Joanna, the doctors and all the amazing staff at Bennett Creek my dog could have had the spleen raptured if I had waited 3 weeks. I cant thank them enough on their efforts and amazing care they took of my dog and the care and time they gave me to make the right decision for my dog. God Bless Bennett Creek :-)

I brought my dog here due to a grooming experience gone wrong and resulting with a laceration on her neck. They triaged her immediately and Dr. Williams completed her intake and indicated that she would require stitches and provided me the estimate. I told him of my current financial concerns, and he provided me with referral for an urgent care that generally costs a bit less (and one he trusts). He waived the intake fee and sent over the paperwork to the urgent care immediately. I am shocked by the generosity and honesty that I experienced with him and this hospital. It is so rare to see these days. If my dog was ever god forbid in a more immediate bind, I would absolutely come here again due to their integrity. Thank you so much for helping me believe there are good and virtuous doctors out there that care more about the well being of the animal than the money!!

My chiweenies and I are happy that Dr Walcoff and his team finally opened up their emergency clinic. He is a very caring vet and it is a relief to know they are available for my aging babies.

The staff and veterinary services were excellent and friendly. Took great care and time in checking my bearded dragon, Ziggy. I finally found a vet that I can trust to give her the care she needs.
