I'm the dog sitter, but drop off and pick up were on point

Super friendly, professional, and it really seems like they care about the animals! We started taking our dog to VCA over the pandemic so today was the first time I was able to be in the room for his visit - I was SO impressed by the staff. Our rescue dog Charlie is very anxious at the vet and can be a real handful, but both the vet tech and vet were great at keeping him as calm and comfortable as possible while they took care of him. Would recommend this place to anyone with a pet :)

We went to this hospital today for my kitty first vaccines. All the staff is very friendly and the services are well organized. Also they are very helpful on the information we needed. We even got a kitty kit full of goodies as well. I cant compare this location with others tho cuz we’ve never went somewhere else. However, i’m very happy with this place and i think my cat is too. I recommend going online for the first time patient coupon, which helps a lot!

I will never go anywhere else. I have all three of my dogs coming here now and I live in Baltimore. They are worth any drive! They were able to squeeze my dog in last minute when I was switching vets and running out of her medication. Everyone on the staff is kind and caring.

If you are looking for a professional, loving and friendly vet family that makes you and your pet feel like family; VCA is the place to be. I will NEVER go to another vet. They have the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. My visits are so organized, as well as my emergencies. All of the doctor's are amazing. They call after each visit to ensure that your pet is doing well. AMAZING and Genuine customer service. You won't be disappointed.

I had a lovely first experience

I just got a rescue this past weekend. We already have another dog that goes to VCA so we naturally took him there. I have ALWAYS been highly satisfied with them but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of my new baby. Spent a considerable amount of time seeing him, spoke with me for a long time and answered all kinds of questions, were kind, loving, courteous, and professional. I felt like they genuinely cared and he got the BEST possible care. I would never take my pet anywhere else. I am so grateful. Thank you VCA!

Excellent doctors, staff, and service.

My puppy loves it here! He has had some minor health concerns so we have been coming at least twice a month for the past 4 months and he can’t wait to get in the door. The staff are simply amazing and the facility is very clean.

Dr. Davis goes above and beyond for his clients.

We could not be happier with this animal hospital!! We have a nervous 5 month old puppy that is a little hesitant when new people try to pet him. We unfortunately did not have a good experience at the first vet he was seeing who prescribed two anti-anxiety medications and wanted to increase the dosage each visit. After noticing the very much negative side effects to this medication, I called VCA Columbia Animal Hospital for a second opinion. They were very patient listening to my concerns with the amount of medication his vet was prescribing for such a small and young puppy. They instructed me to refrain from giving him the medications to evaluate him for his first visit drug-free. For the first visit to VCA, our puppy was a little hesitant but with some patience and lots of treats, he was able to become more familiar with the staff and came out with his tail wagging! If you ever call this hospital, the receptionist answers "where we treat your pet like family". This couldn't be more true!!! All our puppy needed was some patience and kindness to build trust and confidence. We are so incredibly happy and look forward for our puppy to see this vet for the rest of his life!!

Dr. Davis Melchius Jr & his team at VCA Columbia Centre Park are the best!!! I cannot express my gratitude enough for all exceptional support they provide to my dogs both on scheduled appointments and / or emergencies. Thank you so much for always taking good care of Iris and Oreo.

Dr. Emily Stefan is the best vet ever. Amazing bedside manner for little, nervous doggies and takes the time to follow-up on calls when I had questions! Thank you so much :) Prince is doing really well.

This hospital is always fantastic with our dogs , the only problem is they can be very pricey, but oh the things we do for our loved ones.

I ordered a special dog food for my dog with liver issues from this VCA for years. In the last few months they have had a hard time getting it. After calling constantly to check if they had my order in I was told today that they “don’t carry it anymore” and in fact had never ordered it. They didn’t call me to tell me this at any point I called them after months of waiting. They refused to give me any recommendations as to what to feed my dog instead and told me I should go to local vet schools and try to find a nutritionist there who could help me. TERRIBLE customer service and they didn’t seem overly concerned about what I should do with my sick dog in the meantime.

Great people to deal with. They love your pets. Pricey.

Last month I adopted a sweet cat, Mochi, from BARCS and he had some health concerns upon coming home. First 2 and a half weeks were fine while finishing up his meds but once they stopped, it was clear he needed more treatments. We've been twice this month and they've been nothing but helpful! The techs and vets I've spoken with have been incredibly kind and caring when speaking about my sweet boy. It's very helpful that I'm able to text them pictures and updates with his medical progress so I don't have to subject him to a car ride. While they are a little pricey, it's so worth it for the treatment they give to my boy! I definitely recommend if you want a vet that treats your pets like family!!

VCA was flexible in scheduling an emergency visit for our 3-month-old puppy. We were told that it would be a substantial wait time which we did not mind at all since they were kind enough to see our pup within 50 minutes. The receptionist, technician, and Dr. Davis demonstrated care and took time to answer all questions. Dr. Davis provided tips on housebreaking, diet, and overall care. I must add that we found the service and medical pet food to be reasonably priced. VCA for us stands for a Very Caring Atmosphere. :-)

There are just not enough nice words to describe this staff! They took great care for my puppy who is extremely submissive and explained how to better care for him and have gone above and beyond.

VCA Columbia was AMAZING to work with and continues to be! We had to go to the Pet ER a couple times over the weekend and never felt like we had doctors that cared about our puppy. The doctors and techs at VCA totally care and are so helpful and informative! I would recommend them to EVERYONE! :)
