Awesome service. Very polite and clear. The personal phone call from Dr. Jacobs was great after Elvis’s visit. It was very clear and patient. Update a year later: We have only been here during COVID, but even so it's been great! Elvis always comes back happy and the phone call after and the reports are clear and easy to understand. We had Dr. Jacob both time and they are great! Clear communication and very nice on the phone.

This is the second dog I have had that was under care by the cardiologists at CVCA. Both times I was impressed by the level of care they received, and the caring, empathetic interaction with the cardiologists, techs, and staff. They have always taken time to explain my pets' conditions in detail, the likely progression of their disease, and options to extend the quality and duration of their lives. They are extremely good at responding to questions in detail and promptly by email or in person. Explaining prognosis, progression, and effect of medication.

We appreciate the expertise and kindness from the vets and staff at this office. They provide excellent care and really good follow up. Our dog experienced a cardiac related problem, and I had called a few times looking for a cancellation to have my dog seen earlier. Lacy notified Dr. Rosenthal who called to help us with medical suggestions while we waited for our appointment. We highly recommend if your pet needs specialized cardiac care.

Extraordinary service including telephone and e-mail help from Lisa for scheduling and information. Dr Jesse Miller gave us a detailed explanation of Bruno's condition and prognosis. He was patient and compassionate with us. Thanks to all the staff.

I appreciate Dr. Rosenthal at CVCA Columbia for his care of Mooch and his ability to explain heart disease in a clear, concise yet compassionate way. He has managed the care of two of my dogs decades apart and I have total confidence in his treatment. If the need arises, I will bring my pets here for care in the future. Everyone I spoke to friendly and compassionate. All my questions were answered. Everyone was positive even when being delivered news about the limited time our cat has left.

The staff, veterinary technicians and doctors really care. After my dog's appointment we received multiple follow-ups to be sure she is doing alright on all of her new medications. It really means a lot to find somewhere where you know all of the animals who come in are treated like they are the only ones being seen that day.

I have now used their services for two pets of mine, and they are amazing. Both times I've brought a cat with cardiac problems to them, they have been compassionate, understanding, and explained to me what's going on. I would recommend them to anyone who needs cardiac care for their pet.

Excellent. professional, but still personal

I highly recommend CVCA. I took my dog to CVCA for an examination of her heart. I appreciated all the information Dr. Rosenthal shared with me and his willingness to discuss the scientific studies on grain-free foods and dilated cardiomyopathy. I especially appreciated that I was allowed to observe the CT scan and Dr. Rosenthal's explanations throughout the procedure. The vet techs displayed the utmost care and concern for my dog and helped put her at ease. The entire process was efficient and all the staff were friendly and professional.

Face to face time outside with Dr Booth after our appointment (even with COVID curbside protocol in place) was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. Dr Booth was very personable and explained in detail everything he found on my cats exam/echo and answered my questions.

I feel very comfortable with the cardiac care my cat received at CVCA. I appreciated the time Dr. Rosenthal took to speak with me in person and explain everything in detail. With the help of the top-notch care at CVCA, I'm confident my cat will live his best life. BUT, be prepared to pay up front for costly services, and they are not willing to work with you on payments if carecredit and scratchpay are not options for you.

I was happy with the experience. The calm manner of the team, which helped keep my cat less anxious.

Overall I like CVCA and the services it provides. Everyone there seems to take the time and effort to make the care for the owner and pet seem important to them. Never has anyone ever said, "It's just a dog/cat." It is deeply appreciated that they understand the link between some owners and their fur babies. It's hard to thank everyone you meet there to let them know just how much their work/care means to you. They do a great job and maybe it's just not noticed as much except by those who use their services. They are a wonderful team of people who help to keep a family member well and alive. everyone was understanding about what was going on and did not treat it lightly because the concern was for a pet vs a person.

Easy scheduling and communication of procedures and costs. The vet and techs treated my great dane very well during her tests and helped to keep her comfortable and ease her anxiety. Thorough information received quickly. Highly recommended.
