This place failed my 8 month kitten, they let him suffer and ultimately didn’t do enough for him, at all. They told me to wait for blood work to come back 48 hours later when they found fluid surrounding my kittens heart and engulfed his lungs. There would be no 48 hours later. This place straight up took my money from me and gave me no kind of answers or options to help him. They didn’t even send anything home for my suffering kittens pain. Horrible. I would never recommend this place. My kitten ended up passing away a few hours later at a Pet Er due to FIP. The vet there had no idea how they could have missed this diagnosis. There’s not many reasons an 8 month kitten should have fluid surrounding their heart or in their lungs. They could have taken away hours of suffering. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Dr Yosef and Dr Anis are amazing! Dr. Yosef is a top notch surgeon who has saved our pets lives more then once. Which we are forever grateful. Their love for animals shines through when they interact with your animals, their staff is wonderful and caring as well. We have been trusting them with our furry ones for almost 9+ years and can’t imagine having any other Veterinarians. We highly recommend them.

I am pretty new to Maryland and my almost 16 year old lab needed to be seen in a hurry. I called several other vet offices in the area and none of them could see me. I called Padonia Vet and they got me in to see the vet right away. Checking in was easy, the staff were all great and friendly and made my anxious dog feel comfortable. The doctor and tech who saw my dog handled him gently and calmly. They gave me a great peace of mind in a really stressful situation. I couldn't be more thankful.

This is the best veterinary hospital I have ever taken my cat to. Dr. Youssef and his staff are so kind, compassionate, professional, and efficient. They saved me money on insulin, which I really appreciated.

I called and told them my puppy had a chipped shoulder and falls rd said it needed surgery I was told both of there doctors didn't think so but come out and see you can guess what happened next they needed to do surgery but never done it before but changed me for the consultation fee

I took my pet to be cremated and returned to me. The receptionist gave me the wrong information, charged me the wrong price and now I will never get my loved one back. Why would I pay for a nameplate and box if I wasn't expecting to have my loved one returned?? UNFORGIVABLE

literally the best vet in the area. the staff are wonderful the Dr. is very knowledgeable and fair. I've worked in many vet clinics so I know when vets over charge or suggest something unnecessary. when we had to put our cat to sleep they were soooo amazing!!!! they sent us 2 cards and a bottle with our cats fur in it. I was also reading on the website that some of the Dr.s grew up taking care of many different types of animals so I think that knows is really cool and adds to their expertise! they also are easy to reach and Readily available ❤ receptionist and vet technicians are lovely and sweet and I couldn't ask for a better vet.

Padonia Veterinary clinic has been really good to me and London. She had some issues and I couldn't get into the clinic that I was originally going to set her up at (Banfield), seems like there are never any openings at any Banfield, even for sick visits. So I have been coming to Padonia for the past 6 months for all London's veterinary needs. I think we will remain at Padonia. I am happy she gets the care she needs here, and the staff has been very kind. I respect this practice! I recommend anyone looking for proper vet care to come here!

UPDATE 5/29/2021 I felt the need to update my review. Dr. Y potentially saved my dogs life. During my dogs yearly bloodwork, some of his levels came back outside of the recommended ranges. Dr. Y suggested doing an ultrasound on his spleen to make sure nothing more serious was occurring. Well, he found a mass on his spleen that was potentially bleeding. I was able to get my dog in for emergency surgery the next day and was able to have his spleen removed BEFORE it ruptured. Dr. Y’s thoroughness saved my dog from a potential horrendous emergency situation. I’ve said below, but he truly cares about the animals. The staff at Padonia is extremely incredible and they always give so much love to my boy. ******************* I moved into the area about 6 months ago and was lucky to find Dr. Youssef at Padonia Veterinary Hospital. He's helped me NUMEROUS times. I rescued a kitten who was misdiagnosed at Banfield Hospital and almost passed away (his weight went from 2.2lbs down to 1.2lbs). Dr. Youssef put him on medication and provided guidance that helped me save this little dude. He's now a healthy, happy, 5mo kitten. If it wasn't for Dr. Youssef, I'm sure he wouldn't have made it. In addition, my 150lb dog has been to Padonia multiple times from limping, to thyroid medication refills, to an ulcer on his eye. Padonia is always there for me. They've fit me in last minute on multiple occasions, they've been available to answer my thousand questions, and they've stuck around late to make sure I had medication. I can't speak highly enough about Padonia. I left an incredible vet and was worried I'd never find the same thing again. I was wrong. Padonia has been beyond incredible. The assistants that work here are incredible, they'll love your animals as much as you do and they'll remember you by name. Their prices are some of the fairest that I've seen. Padonia is also the type of vet that will not ask you to do unnecessary procedures or give your animals unnecessary vaccines/medicine. I'd also like to mention that Padonia has some of the fairest prices that I've seen. I highly recommend Padonia Veterinary Hospital to those of us that love our animals more than we can even explain.

We’ve taken our cat and dog here for 6 or 7 years now! Reception staff and vets are all super friendly and very helpful and our pets are always happy and healthy!

Please do not take your cat to this vet - they support declawing cats and claim it as surgery on their website. Declawing cats has been known to cause a number of physical as well as mental issues.

I was lucky to have a place like this as a first time dog owner. My rescue had Heartworms, and they were very patient with all of my questions as he recovered. If I hadn't moved over an hour away, I'd still be going here.

We have 3 pugs and 1 Shepard so needless to say we we need not just a good but a great Vet! We couldn't be more pleased with the service , professionalism and good common sense practices that we have found at Padonia Veterinary. Great Drs., Great Staff and they value their customers. Tim

I recently became frustrated with my dogs Vet. I felt that I was paying a lot of money for little service and even less results. A high school friend recommended Dr. Anis and Padonia Veterinary Hospital. I was thoroughly impressed by both Dr. Anis and the vet techs. They Zoomed me during the assessment of my dog. They were very good with her and extremely thorough. We discussed best course of action as well as our plan going forward. For the first time I am confident that my dog is in goods hands. It’s a small practice but both doctors are very caring and compassionate individuals. I switched vets for my pets and never looked back. They know my pets by names and know their medical history. Exactly what my family needed when it comes to our pets’ healthcare.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We started going here after our last vet kept trying to sneak in hidden fees. The people here are very friendly, honest, and professional. They do their best to be accommodating for scheduling and as complete in their answers to questions as possible. The vet himself is great. Our dog used to hate going to our last vet and would freak out when they had to give her her shots. Since coming to the vet here at Padonia she actually remains calm when he gives her shots and during the general checkup as well.

I had to take my Henry to a vet for the first time since our move (we’re from NJ), and I couldn’t be happier that I chose Padonia! Dr. Yousseff was very gentle and knowledgeable about what was going on with my baby. I won’t lie, I’m a bit of a helicopter mom, so I was happy to hear that they do zoom or FaceTime during appointments. All in all, I am happy with the care that he received. Thank you again!

I can not even begin to express my appreciation and gratitude to the folks at PVH. We have been going there for years and while I have left reviews on other sites, I am shocked to find that I didn't leave a review here ages ago. They have always been professional and have treated our pets as if they were their own. We've recently been going through some issues with one of our little guys and we've been receiving great attention in trying to resolve the problem. Their efficient and caring nature is top notch!

Dr. Anis is an incredible vet. He removed a big mass from my 16 year old pups chest and given her age I was extremely worried about her surviving the surgery. Dr. Anis really cares about his patients and his bedside manner is amazing. He reviewed in great detail the risks of proceeding with the surgery vs. letting the mass continue to grow and get infected. I felt as though my decision could give Mags (my pup) a longer and higher quality life or end her life related to kidney failure or some other surgical complication. Dr. Anis was very liberal with his anesthesia which kept Mags safe and he successfully removed the large mass. Maggie is doing so much better, her appetite increased and I think Dr. Anis gave her a few more comfortable years with me. I can’t thank him and his staff enough. He called and talked to me multiple times before and after the surgery and was very honest and sincere.

Absolutely wonderful vets. Super happy to explain things, easy to work with, and they do great work. You can tell they care. Got most of my old gal's teeth extracted expertly.

This vet has seen all of my cats for various reasons, and Dr. Anis has been particularly wonderful, as well as the veterinary assistants. Dr. Anis caught something in my cat Franklin that the emergency vet did not, and saved him! He was friendly and gentle with my older cat, Lily, and two of my cats needed to be spayed. The attention to details, the willingness to answer any and all of my questions, and the friendliness of the staff makes this the best vet my cats have been to. I truly appreciate the veterinary hospital for how much they have helped me and my little family. :)

I am so thankful for Dr. Youssef & team for their incredible care and compassion. This is the best facility I’ve ever been to. Last week they truly saved my dog Maddie’s life. I would NEVER go to anyone else!!

We have three dogs of varying breeds and sizes. The vets and staff are professional and thorough and obviously love the animals they care for. We look forward to our visits and know that our “kids” are getting top notch care.

Dr Yousef and his staff are wonderful! We’ve had our kitty at Padonia Vet since we brought him home 15 months ago... he was neutered, treated for ear mites and recently got into paint thinner ( I was sure we were going to lose him????)...Dr Yousef and his staff are caring and kind.. I highly recommend this office.

I had called in regarding an emergency and they got me in within a half hour. Once I arrived they took my dog straight to the back. It was the best service and care I have ever seen at a vet. Incredible people and place 10/10 would recommend.

I found this place when I needed an evening appointment for my dying Missy (17 y/o cat). They were so kind and compassionate that I continued to go there and I've since taken my dog Kente and my new cat, Tigerlene. Dr. Youseff is the doctor I've seen and I enjoy his kindness and willingness to explain what he's found and what he suggests for my fur-babys. I won't go anywhere else for the life of my pets.

Padonia Veterinary Hospital was recommended to me when we had an emergency that our regular vet was not able to take care of because he was on a mobile call. I am so very grateful they did because I have never met a kinder, more caring and compassionate Doctor and staff ever! They took time with us in the middle of an extremely busy schedule and handled our emergency with tender compassion. They have gone out of their way to help us find a solution to a complex situation regarding the sweetest , most lovable cat ever.
