Terrible. After spending over $500 for one visit, I’ve spent the last two weeks trying to get ahold of someone about test results and medication. These people are impossible to get ahold of. Go somewhere that will actually communicate with you about your pet.

I waited 2 weeks for an appointment with someone who specializes in cats as my 14 month old boy has had a chronic issue that 2 emergency vet visits have been unable to solve. Took off work early and drove in rush hour only to find out that they somehow never booked the appointment in their system even though they took the deposit. I will say the refunded the deposit promptly, however now I wasted 2 weeks where my little guy could have been in line elsewhere. Guess it’s back to the emergency vet for a 3rd try. I don’t recommend this place at all after this experience.

They are excellent technically and very compassionate and responsive.

Charged me almost $700 for nothing. Cat is still coughing and, after the probiotics ran out, still having loose stool. Spoke to TWO vets who said they were going to X-ray my cat’s chest only to learn they didn’t; that that was going to be another very expensive visit. Skip this place and go to Eastern animal hospital.

One year ago my kids rescued a kitty. We brought it to this practice for the initial check-up and gender identity. Per discharge instructions and communication, the kitty was a Female, app. 4 weeks old and noted to have an ear infection. We bought the recommended ear drops and paid all the visit fees. One year later, we decided to have the kitty spayed and made an appointment with the SPCA. To our surprise, we were told that the kitty was actually a male and he was neutered and assessed at the clinic. What a disappointment to realize that our kitty was assigned the wrong gender. Now figuring out a new name and living with the new fact. I don't understand how a trained and certified Vet assigned the wrong gender and in addition don't trust the diagnosis of an ear infection. NEVER EVER TRUST CAT HOSPITAL AT TOWSON.... SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE...REALLY UNFORTUNATE!

They were able to fit my kitty in for an emergency appointment when no one else was able to. They took good care of him and updated me frequently about his status and what was going on. My total bill came out less than what they originally quoted me too! Will likely be returning here in the future instead of my original vet.

Super grateful for this clinic! Dr. Scarborough and Marty made our cat feel at ease, provided excellent care, and answered all of our questions as first time pet parents. Thanks for a great visit!

If you’re looking for great cat care they clearly know what they’re doing and are genuine cat lovers. But look over your bill extensively before you pay. I took my cat for her first appointment and was almost charged close to $500. Including $247 for a procedure they weren’t even planning to do until my next appointment (which hadn’t even been scheduled yet). I was also charged $5 for the disposal of a waste sample, that they told me to bring in, that they didn’t test. I’m sure they’re great doctors but I felt uncomfortable with the sneaky billing method and will probably go somewhere else that is more transparent about costs.

This is the best veterinary experience I have ever had!! They are extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. Each visit the doctor (Dr. Scarborough in our case) calls and updates you on all information regarding the visit and takes time to answer all your questions and concerns. Recently, we had an emergency with our cat, and they got us in for an appointment the same morning. They clearly care very much about the wellbeing of the cats in their care, as well as offering amazing customer service for us cat owners. And they always follow up after the appointment!

They're super sweet! We've only received kindness and the best of advice as well as products to try out when it comes to our girl Buffy ♥️ - she's amazing might I add ???? my husband and I do see ourselves returning here regularly to make sure our girl is taken cared of as well as any future cats we adopt. We also notice buffy's SUBSTANTIALLY calmer at this vet than she was at the other one. They use feliway which shows me they Carr about critters as well as keeping a cat there occasionally to help boost adoption in the area ????

My cat is a bit of a special case... he has a condition that is extremely rare (my current cat's brother died of the condition). I actually dropped 2 previous vets I had tried because they totally misdiagnosed the conditions on BOTH of my cats, leading to the first one's unfortunate passing without even knowing what was wrong with him. The vets here are completely open and honest, extremely knowledgeable, and very open to working with "special case" kitties. Further, and here is the real plus that I consider the biggest plus of all, they are very open about what they DON'T know, and are more than happy to go learn about it if they are faced with a situation that doesn't come around every day. This, imo is the biggest sign of maturity and professionalism, and really is a huge credit to the staff culture they have here. I am very fortunate I managed to find this place, and if you are a cat owner, I would recommend you give them a try too.

I really love CHAT. I love working with Marty, she has a lot of knowledge and is always very helpful with my girls. Yes it's a bit pricey but the service I recieve from Marty and the vets is worth it! :) Thank you for taking care of my babies!

We've been taking our cats here for at least 24 years, and I would never take them anywhere else. Everyone, from the girls at the front desk, the techs, and especially the Veterinarians are the most compassionate, friendly, and highly trained medical teams you can find. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with the level of care they give to my "furbaby" now and have given to our other kitties for their entire lives. My family is forever grateful for Dr. Brundt and Dr. Sternfeld and the everyone else at CHAT. ????
