The Staff is very nice . My Babies got spayed & netured yesterday. They explained everything to me & answered all the questions I had.

Dr. Chapelle and staff were very professional and courteous on my first visit today. They took care of my cat, Baba with the warmth and comfort I expected. I'd certainly recommend them for your pet.

The individuals who work here are so kind, but I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with a bird. I took my small bird here to remove a single blood feather. Because of the pandemic, he had to go in by himself. When they brought my bird back to me, they had removed the blood feather, which was great. But they also clipped his wings WITHOUT MY PERMISSION because his feathers were a little wonky (it was all aesthetics, he was doing well). They told me that he would be flying again within a month and I trusted them despite being concerned they had done that without even asking me first. For months and months my bird struggled and never improved. He passed away without ever flying again and it really hurts that they took that away from him for no good reason.

I changed vets and had an annual appointment with them today. This vet office is amazing and they were so gentle with my cat, Allie. I definitely recommend this office for sure! Thank you, ladies for being so kind and gentle with my cat!!

Love this place. The staff are very awesome with dogs. I have a doberman pinscher and they treated her sooooooo well. I think I found my dog's permanent vetrinary clinic. The doctor was sooo patient and handled the dog very well. Everyone there did a great job. Will definitely be coming back.

Our family got a new puppy and NVA was highly recommended. It was a bummer that due to Covid we had to do curbside drop off but the vet tech and Dr. Gulani were very nice. They answered all our questions and gave us take home materials to read as well as free heartworm and flea/tick preventative meds. We look forward to a long and happy relationship with NVA. :)

I have been going here after leaving Banfield, when my puppy had an accident and they were closed. They fixed him up no problem with a few stitches. So thankful they were open and were able to take us last minute! The difference in care is pretty big. They are very thorough. He actually likes going here and follows the staff inside happily. (Due to covid you can't go inside) The staff are very kind and the vets explains things so that it's easy to understand. I have seen almost all the vets on staff and they are all great! Definitely worth switching vets.

From the first email inquiring about their prices to our vet visits, the staff have been excellent! At our vet visit, they took us back earlier than our appointment time and quickly completed the exam, blood draw, and vaccines. The prices are great and the staff really care about their patients (and their parents!). Within 15 or so minutes, we were on the way home! I won’t be going back to my previous vet.

This is the most amazing veterinary clinic I’ve visited. Dr. Keller is the primary doctor for my shiba, and she’s amazing! Shibas are not a super common breed and it was amazing to find out that she had a shiba as well, she always takes amazing care of Nala and gives us advice whenever we call and ask to talk to her. I’ve took Nala to the other doctors in the clinic and they have been amazing too. The vet Techs and all the personal are super nice and take great care of their furry patients, Nala jumps with excitement when we visit, and that is always a good sign. If you guys need a vet don’t look any further choose neighborhood veterinary associates!

I have had such an amazing experience with this place with my cat and my puppy. It's really hard for the animals during covid times when their hoomans can't come in, but the staff really does a great job trying to make my pets comfortable without me. The doctors are also really good about returning calls if you have a health concern, and they usually have good availability time frames. Definitely not like some of the other vets around MoCo where it's a 3 week wait even if you have a problem.

My dog got very sick and I went to Neighborhood Veterinary Associates. Dr Gulani and Dr Keller we’re the vets who treated my dog they are fantastic. I have seen other vets at other clinics in Maryland over the years and no one comes close to these two vets. The vet techs were all very professional and caring . They treated my dog like it was there own pet. My dog bonded with a vet tech and she treated him the whole time he was in there care. I have been to other vets in the area and no one comes close to Neighborhood Veterinary Associates . If you want your pet to get the best care then this is the place to go. I have never seen a more compassionate and caring staff .

I had to take my two parakeets to be seen because they were scratching a lot and I thought they might have mites. When I called to set up my appointment the lady I spoke to was very helpful and friendly. My appointment was so easy. They came out and asked a few questions and took my birds right in to be checked. The staff were very helpful. Dr. Willens was so nice and informative and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this place. They get an A+ customer service!

Informative, caring and one of the few exotic vets around!

Been bringing my cats here for years and they are so wonderful. They always make sure to explain everything so you know what to do if medication is needed and are so flexible with their hours for emergencies!

Best care team out there. Had an emergency on the farm and my baby goat needed to be seen ASAP, no where would take us because it was closing time + she’s a goat! The doctor and nurses on staff were so quick to squeeze her in, even though closing was in 20 or so minutes. They took such good care of her and gave her the whole nine yards (xrays, sutures, etc). I was blown away by how kind they were and what such great care they took of my baby. Not just anyone would stay open and provide such amazing emergency care to any pet, let alone a goat lol !! I am beyond grateful. Would recommend them to any pet owner and can’t wait to be back to see them.

Overall very good experience with the vet herself. We got a lot of good advice and she was very patient in explaining answers to our concerns. She didn't push any unnecessary tests or prescriptions (which was why we decided to change from a different vet). However, we had two concerns to point our as a FYI 1) we understand that the clinic may be understaffed due to the pandemic but never got a reply to an email (until I called a couple weeks later) 2) despite me letting the clinic know on two separate occasions that our puppy is nervous around strangers and will need them to go slow & let him smell them for a minute or two (as we could not accompany him into the clinic due to social distancing restrictions), they were very rushed in retrieving him (even though there was no other patient before him) and did not take the time to let him smell them first before rushing him into a strange place. I thought this behavioral issue would be noted in his records but I also should have remember to let whomever picked up the phone day of know again just in case. I hate to have our puppy be afraid of his new vet when he has such a sweet personality once he is given the time (just a couple minutes!). Luckily he was able to adjust despite all this and the vet also acknowledged the mistake on their part as well as give us some advice on how to continue to help him overcome his fears! Nevertheless I'm still happy to give this place 5 stars and likely will continue using their services!

We've had some pretty rough visits over the past month with both of our Boxers and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing everyone has been. I would absolutely recommend them over and over again and cannot thank them enough for being there for our family through everything!

Dr. Fu is very patient and straight forward. She seems to really care and gives us great advice concerning our senior kitty. We hope to bring our younger girls to her for a check up soon!
