My Blu has been through the ringer the past week. He had a corncob stuck in his intestines. I highly highly recommend Homeward Bound Veterinary Services for God forbid any pet emergencies or just regular vet care. The Vet was so empathetic and she got him in and in to surgery within minutes, which in his case every minute counted! If you’ve ever had to go to an animal hospital you know it can cost as much as a used vehicle but she did it for a fraction of what the unnamed hospital in Bel Air was going to charge. She also was so thorough in explaining everything and actually took the time to listen and get details from me. I will never go anywhere else!

Great friendly staff. They were kind and did an extensive workup on my Airedale.

So very impressed with Dr. Sorum and staff. My husband and daughter took our rescue pup in today, who is working on her socialization skills, so we were a bit nervous. They handled her like a charm, and were so informative and helpful. They took their time with our dog, and explained everything. Even before our appt, I had contacted them twice thru Facebook with questions and they got back to me quickly. Thanks for making what we thought would be a stressful experience, not at all stressful for Riley or ourselves. We look forward to coming back!

The best!!! Most caring people! We have a older great dane they came out for. They were honest gentle ,I cant say enough about them. I was scared to get the bill when i looked it was lower than when i use to have to take my Bentley (great dane) to the vet. With the gas prices the way they are. All i can say is wow and thank you. Use them . U will not be sorry.

Called about getting kitten neutered and first shots the receptionist quoted me 1100-1500! No thanks ! Not sure how to respond to the owners response, but assure you that is what the girl at the desk quoted me after putting me on hold. I am a previous client and she kept saying your dog and I kept correcting her no it’s a kitten. Maybe that’s the price for the dog however that was the price she quoted me.

Very easy to make an appt on line. The vet Dr Kats was very helpful and informative. The tech was very friendly. They were both awsome with my dog.

If was a difficult day that I had to bring a cat in. Being torn and made to feel I was the one holding up the whole process when in fact I was the innocent one just doing what I was told to do just made matters worse. The doctor was a kind person when she called to tell the outcome, though I fully didn't understand everything. When I went to pick up the cat, is when things were tense. I do think the lady who came to my car could have been a bit more kinder. You all see things like this sort of thing all the time, I do not. I am disappointed with the way I was treated. It could have been a better experience for me I feel.

Can’t thank Homeward Bound enough! They came out to my home, were able to give my unruly cat his shots without too much cat-drama, and gave me some good advice on keeping him healthy.

My 8year old Pit needed ACL repair surgery. Dr. Cooley explained everything in terms I could understand. I called after the surgery because I had questions and the receptionist, Karen Vance, was attentive and got the answers I needed. Whenever I call with a question, prescription or appointment, everyone is super nice. They speak to me and I never feel rushed or pressured.

New to the area . My Dog Bella was very comfortable going here. If your looking for a new vet well look no further. Very nice place and friendly.

Would not recommend. Vets are okay but dealing with the front desk and vet techs is nothing but frustration. My dog had major surgery to fix a broken jaw. When picking him up a vet tech just brought him to the car and could not answer any questions I had. Was not able to see the vet either and didn’t get a response until 48 hours later. Extremely frustrating and makes me question the care my dog received. Will be going to another vet once my puppy plan ends. My wife and I have nicknamed this place Frustration Bound. Look elsewhere

Even though our Pixie girl passed they were extremely sweet and helpful especially when no other veterinarian would see our pixie due to all the covid restrictions soon as we called them we were told to bring her in asap ,we appreciate all they tried to do to save her but it was her time Pixie was 16 and had a very long life with us she will always be missed

Came to the house to give both my cats their checkups and shots. So friendly and nice. No stress for the cats.

I called and setup an appointment April 19th for my dog to get her shots and I asked how the process was as far as my dogs shots records because she was previously with at another vet that retired. I was told that they would call and get all of her shot records so I booked an appointment for the 28th of April at 9am so I took off of work. I show up right at 9am and wait 30 minutes only to be told they don't have me down for an appointment. In addition to this the woman that came out to speak to me says "well it's 930" after already confirming they don't have me on their schedule to which I replied I've been here since 9am and she said well did you call to tell us you were here LOL at this point because of covid rules this vet set in place they come out to your car so I waited patiently.... She did say that they would take my dog as a drop off but I am sorry if a company cannot do something as simple as take down an appointment I'm surely not trusting them with something as precious as my dogs life. I went to this establishment because of all their awesome reviews so it was a huge let down.

I was helped by Alexia and Rhonda and they were so wonderful with my timid cat. I genuinely couldn't be more pleased!!!

Took Amazing care of our new pup . They made room for us on a busy day ❣️ We are so grateful and our pup is feeling so much better.

I called late in the afternoon with an emergent issue with my dog and they got me right in to see Dr. Sorum. Even though they were closing very soon, she took her time and did everything she could to save me from going to the emergency vet. My dog was feeling better within a few hours of the visit. I would highly recommend Homeward Bound to anyone!

They came out to my house to see my cat, were very professional and very friendly.

They come to my home due to my medical issues. Makes my life so much easier.

I had never had to put a pet down and was assured my dog would be sedated before she was put down and she would feel nothing at all, my beautiful, sweet chihuahua was yelping in pain until she succumbed to the overdose. The vet was very uncaring and unsympathetic to her pain. I wouldn't take my worse enemy to Homeward Bound Veterinary.

The staff is so patient with my nervous Cane Corso. His previous vet muzzled him and that made him panic even more. At his first visit with Homeward Bound, he had a lump in his mouth that needed to be examined, so a muzzle wasn't an option. They coaxed him with treats and didn't treat him like a scary monster as he had been treated in the past, and by the time the appointment was over, he was best friends with the tech. It was a positive and affordable experience for both of us.

They were so kind and understanding. They helped me out so much providing comfort when my dog was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and had her leg amputated

We have had 5 of our dogs (4 Great Danes and a mutt) seen by Dr. Vance and Homeward Bound over the years and we love the care she offers. We have recommended Homeward Bound to friends and family. (This morning when I called, I was told to make an appointment via the website. I declined, as I find it to be less than user friendly (I am a stroke patient it may be just me) and was told that I would receive a call back to schedule an appointment because the person taking my call "just has too much going on at the moment". I have not received a call back. This is the second time that I have received, what I consider to be, less than good, customer service from the Atwood office.)
