I would rate this negative if possible. We got contacted after waiting for 3 months for our cats to see the vet and they finally called us back. Got quoted for an annual check up on the phone, vaccines and nail clip. $65 per cat for the check up and another $10 for nail clip. When getting there today, that price shot up to $384!!!! We are on limited income because covid destroyed our industry. We saved for this appointment and waited months just to have them change prices to 3x the price and when I expressed that, they decided to kick us out and threatened us by calling the cops because they didn't like being told about themselves. Absolutely disgusting. There is a shortage of vets out there but dont fall for this scam.

I went to get flea tabs for my pets due to being bombarded with fleas for the 1st time ever. I have 5 cats that are indoor cats and 1 dog. To my surprise I couldn't recieve anything to assist with flea problem eventhough I called the night before and was told that I could come in then but they were closing in less than 30 minutes. I decided that I might not make and told the person that I'd come in tomorrow only to be rejected. I was told that I am now considered a new client because I hadn't visited since 2014. Uh, well I don't have sickly pets. There is no reason to just go to vet to spend money for fun. Then to top it off I was told that NEW CLIENTS AREN'T being accepted at this time. I'm not even a new client. I'm in the freaking system. No problem, I've switched over to Evergreen. They're welcoming, sweet, and friendly.

Friendly service, good rates, easy parking, fast service. Just moved to the area, and am glad I found a great bet on the first shot. Will bring all my pets here.

We used another Vet clinic in Fed Hill. Compared to them,, this place is amazing.. Great service, the team takes thr time to explain what is happening with your pet(s). Really makes one feel comfortable handing your pets over to them.

Dr. Papke is a caring and knowledgeable vet who goes above and beyond to support her patients and their parents. When my dear Cairne carrier was on his last legs she and her staff were amazing. She talked to us for a very long time about our dear Paddy and gently led us to make the right decision. No pressure, just support. We are so pleased with the staff, the service and their caring attitude. We trust Dr. Papke implicitly.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Papke and the Hampden Veterinary Hospital crew. I moved to Baltimore in March and I didn't know where to go because my neighbors had no good recommendations. However, my dog got an ear infection and a hematoma, I messaged Hampden Vet Hospital, and they got back to me right away. The hematoma surgery went well and everyone at the hospital has been great in following up with us and fantastic every step of the way. My dog doesn't like going to the vet and they have been great with her and worked with us on it. Love them and I highly recommend them!

Horrible Vet! Mediocre services, price gouging on medicines, inadequate staffing. I have a wild dog. I was concerned about leaving my job on the Eastern shore to make it to an appointment and not having time to sedate my dog and the fact that Dr Papke had dropped her on her face before. After all that I was kicked out without receiving treatment when I brought those concerns up only to the tech. I know I have a wild dog. Dr. Papke knows I have a wild dog. In these stressful times Dr. Papke’s reaction was completely uncalled for

Everyone at this office is wonderful, from the individuals who help you at the front desk to Kyle and Dr. Papke. Because of COVID-19, they have a really efficient curbside system for bringing in the animals while you wait outside or in your car. Even though we only communicated with everyone over the phone, they were all so thorough and kind, especially Dr. Papke.

Had a wonderful experience ???? staff was super nice. The waiting area is very welcoming and I loved the amount of natural light. Everyone in the office had a smile on their face and seemed genuinely happy to be at work. Kyle was even nice enough to offer us some cookies the Dr. had made. The staff was extremely kind and sweet with our new cat which we could not appreciate more. We really look forward to coming back for future trips and know that our cat will be made comfortable and expertly taken care of the entire time. Thanks y'all.

What a great addition to the neighborhood - it is new for me. Dr. Papke, the vet has a kind and welcoming staff. She was knowledgeable and thorough with my beagle for his appointment and surgery. The price point was very reasonable. If you are in need of a great vet, please consider Dr. Papke and her team.

Dr. Papke and her staff are the kindest, most loving providers we have ever experienced. When our beloved dog was passing away from cancer, Dr. Papke helped us when we needed guidance and advised us as we navigate his illness. Now, Dr. Papke and her team are taking care of our new dog with just as much care and patience. To me, there is no better vet to see.

The most amazing customer service! Dr Pepke and associates are so very patient, caring and knowledgable. Highly reccomend if youre looking for a vet. They handled my dogs tummy upset with ease, while reassuring me with a solid treatment plan. The least expensive vet visit ive had considering i made two visits in one month. They also squeezed me in to accomodate us considering they were fully booked. The location is also very neat, clean and stylish. My dog doesnt take well with strangers, but the calming atmosphere helped keep her (and me) calm

Dr. Papke and the whole staff at Hampden Vet are the most caring, empathetic group of people we have come across in a vet practice. As our poor elderly kitty was in need of care, and eventually to be put to sleep, they were there not only for her, but for us. They gave our kitty the treatment she needed, and they helped us through this very difficult time. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Thanks to Dr. Papke and the whole group.

I am so impressed with Dr. Papke and as long as I am in Baltimore/she is around I will be a client. I have had some gastric issues with my pup that I felt were ignored by my previous vet. Her office scheduled me within a reasonable time, she was SO attentive and explained everything to me. She did a thorough dive and explaination into what might have been going on with my pup and the amazing thing is I didn't leave with a $400 bill. She was wonderful. So so grateful to find such a wonderful and caring vet ♥️

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Dr. Papke and all of the staff that took care of me and my doggo last week! Hampden Veterinary Hospital is definitely my vet for life. I had an emergency with my boy Kai. It was serious and they squeezed me in without an appointment. Everyone was super courteous and helpful. I was a bit of a wreck but they comforted me. Back story is Kai was sick since the week before. We took him to the ER and were sent home with antibiotics and a prayer. As things got worse I decided to get a second opinion. Dr Papke took the time to fully examine Kai and found a tumor on his intestine. He needed surgery and she suggested Catonsville Animal Hospital who also took great care of us. Unfortunately it wound up taking his life but I know he would have suffered much longer had it not been found. Through this pain I find comfort in knowing there are true professionals I was able to go to and my dude to and he doesn't have to suffer anymore. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! ❤️
