Rob was wonderful with Jazzy. We had not had a puppy in a long time and felt we wanted to train her correctly from the beginning. Rob was patient with her and had her attention from the beginning. Jazzy didn't want Rob to leave at the end of each session. Rob was also patient with me and it was great that the instructions were written our for me to review. I would highly recommend Rob to anyone who has a dog that needs training. It has certainly made our life easier.

Our experience with Rob was AMAZING. He taught us so much about dealing with our energetic beagle puppy, Sneakers. He gave us the confidence and know-how to handle him and we are so happy we hired East Coast Academy of Dog Training. Would definitely recommend --- our puppy is a brand new dog!

I was very impressed with the training and assistance provided. I have an small, older dog and needed help with some barking issues. Apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks! The trainer was responsive to questions and came up with different solutions to help me. During the pandemic he respected masking and social distancing requests.

I highly recommend East coast Dog academy. Rob is very profesional and has lots of knowledge about dogs. He was able to help us train our Lab puppy Daisy and retrain and correct the behavior of our Pitbull Benji. He was able to correct benjis behavior with positive reinforcement and slowly we have been transitioning off the E-collar. Rob was able to give us easy step to step lessons on how to deal with a new puppy at home and how to introduce her to our new house. I went from struggling walking Benji to being able to walk both dogs at the same time.

Rob helped us train our 8-9 month old Shichon puppy Luna, and we found his knowledge and experience exceptionally valuable. We saw continuous and noticeable improvement in Luna‘s behavior throughout the training period and afterward as we continued using the methods Rob taught us. He is professional, punctual, and of course has great dog energy! Luna loved him and was always excited to see him. His class is well worth it and we’d recommend it to anyone.

Rob is so kind and patient . I was so frustrated with my 12 week old Puppy . I called the phone number and he actually answered ! I booked him with my gut feeling , I never looked at his website. I was right . He writes everything down. I have called and texted him from time to time and he always responded . Hire him NOW. No matter what age , your little pumpkin can change ,,

Robert was awesome with our 5 month old Finley! He was very nice, alway on time, flexible, and seems to really care about our pup. Finley seems less anxious, better behaved (for a 5 month old lol), and is continuing with everything we learned from Robert! We highly recommend Robert! Thanks for everything!

Rob did a great job of training ME how to train my 1yr old English Bulldog. I'm still using basic techniques when addressing new, undesirable behaviors (i.e. bag of cans to deter licking clean dishes in the dishwasher! ). Rob is highly recommended.

I reached out to Rob about training our 5-month old Bernedoodle. He delivers! If you follow Rob's methodology, you will see results. Within the first few minutes of walking in the door, he had our puppy responding to his commands. It's the dog owner's responsibility to stay on top of the daily training to set the foundation of obedience. Our puppy gets better and better everyday. Took him to two soccer games on Saturday and he didn't try to jump on one person that said hi (I was completely prepared to do training in a new environment, but he did just fine without any intervention from me). Took him to Home Depot the next day with no issues whatsoever. Another thing about East Coast Academy, after your training sessions, Rob makes himself available for a phone call whenever needed if you run into issues. I highly recommend him to anyone needing professional dog training.

Rob did a great job with my dog. He was kind and very knowledgeable and has a good understanding of dogs. He effectively used positive reinforcement as a training tool. When I adopted Brady, he was over protective fo me. He was aggressive to anyone who came near me. Brady did not like men. Rob's working with Brady and me (one on one ) has given Brady and me confidence. Brady has manners, is calm and is responsive to my commands. He is now comfortable with visitors.....even men. Rob was always on time and accommodating to my schedule. Wrote down what I was to do and went over everything I was to work on. His teaching methods are with a calm voice and rewards. Rob is the best dog trainer!!! He's so patient. My puppy is super hyper and potty training and following directions was a challenge. Rob taught him how to respect his space, basic commands, and how to manage the separation anxiety. I saw changes in Bailey's behavior after every session. Absolutely the best experience my boyfriend and I had! Rob doesn’t sugar coat anything and is straight forward in the training which we liked. He was very kind to us and our pup. Rob is amazing! Before we met him our Shepard/Boxer mix, Roo, wouldn't listen to a thing we said! After the first meeting Roo was responding, obeying and was excited to learn! After four sessions she is incredible! My husband and I weren't the best following instructions and following up with her training between sessions and she is still a lovable well behaved pup! She listens when we tell her to do something and comes when called. We even trust her off her leash (in most places)! He was always happy to answer questions we had and give his advice on different subjects that would come up. Rob was very flexible and happy to work around my crazy schedule!
