What an incredible program! I can not say enough wonderful things about this organization! The people I worked with (Bruno, Kathy, and Bruno's fuzzy partner, Bolo) are the reason I was able to get my cat, Rafiki, home safe and sound. Bolo was given a scent article of Rafiki's and was able to find where Rafiki had been so that I was able to leave a scent trail for Rafiki to find his way home and despite my skepticism I now believe it is the reason my cat is still alive and snuggling with me today. Thank you DogsfindingDogs! Specifically thank you to Bruno and Bolo who supported me, not only during the search, but throughout the waiting period. They are my heroes!

I cannot be more thankful to Dogs Finding Dogs for helping locate an area where my missing dog was hiding. The situation was little difficult, the whole world in the lockdown due to COVID -19 pandemic. Our English Setter Mosby vanished after ingesting what we suspected to be a stick of rodent poisoning, so time was really of the essence. After searching for a day and restless night, We contacted DFD and they put a rush to our order. . Couple of hours after our conversation the search team Felicia with the tracking dog K9 Riley arrived. After scenting the tracking dog we followed him in the direction I never would have thought to look. We covered quite a lot of ground in a rugged mountain terrain and I was assured that my sick Mosby was still alive and on the move. Riley was done, We now knew where to look and how to go about it. We went back into the area indicated by Riley and on our way back we found Mosby hunkered down on a steep bank of the ravine. Still alive, in the flight mode. I managed to bring him down and we brought him home. Thanks to the timely response from DFD we were able to get him help he needed urgently and pretty much saved his life. Felicia and K9 Riley team, you rock! Thank you for saving my beloved Mosby’s life!

They were able to track my cat to a part of the neighborhood I never would’ve thought to look… And because of them I was able to recover her the same night. My cat has been missing for about six days, and the temperatures were dropping drastically. I am so grateful for Bolo and His handler, Genna, as well as Sherry. Without their help, I don’t think I would have found my cat on my own; I’m eternally grateful.

A huge thank you to Maddy and Ragar for helping me find my baby! They came out for a second track and Ragar lead us right to my lost cat. I got him 10 minutes later! He had been lost for about a month. I’m so happy and so thankful! Thank you!!!

Amazing work! Sherry and our search dog Tucker were just phenomenal. Our Shiba Inu had been missing for 4 days and Tucker zero'd in on a block in our neighborhood and let us know that he was in that area somewhere. Based on that Sherry recommended we flyer that area to get the awareness up, and the next morning we get a call saying that they'd had our dog the whole time! These guys are just awesome and helped us through a very traumatic time. Thank you for all that you do!!

A very special thank you to our hero Tucker from #DOGSFINDINGDOGS. Our miniature Doxie Laya ran away Saturday evening during fireworks. We reached out to DFD and Tucker came out to save the day. This morning Tucker nailed her scent in a direction that we would have never searched. He was very determined our dog was in a large section of trees with a pond. And then Sherry spotted her run back into the brush. What a relief after 2 days without her DFD set up an action plan and after more attempts of going to the same area Tucker located. We are now reunited. Our Laya is fine and relieved to be home as we are as well to have her. A very special thank you to Dogs Finding Dogs and Tucker. You are the best.

March 2017 my furbaby storm went missing, I was referred to DFD. They were quick to respond and Felicia and Riley came and we found Storm in a very short time, Storm was also injured badly and Felicia was very compassionate and kept in close contact to see how he was doing. I see so many furbabies that go missing and I am and will always recommend DFD. They are great!!!!

Absolutely amazing. They called us back the day we contacted them and started making plans. They are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Our dog had been missing for days in a large neighborhood and he had little information as to where to look. They gave us so many tips and have us an exact area for us to search. We found him in that same area a day later. This service is 100% worth it in order to get your baby back. Thank you so so much.

Burt is home 7 days after neighborhood fireworks scared him through our wood panel fence terrified and running. My 4 year old grangdaughter and we thank Dogs Finding Dogs (especially Deacon and his handler Jenn ) for their tracking and their instructions. He made it out of hiding in the woods to our house, following the scent trails we provided from the areas Deacon identified (where he ran into and around in the woods). Again, thank you...it was a very hard week, with a happy and grateful conclusion. Paul Collison , Highland, Md.

TLDR: Beware My cat went missing in December 2017, just days before a cold snap (freezing temperatures day and night for almost a couple of weeks). I tried what I could for the first day, handing out flyers to neighbors, leaving food out, posting on multiple Facebook lost and found groups, craigslist, nextdoor, etc. No luck. Someone suggested Dogs Finding Dogs to me, so I shoot an email over to them late at night and get a call around 10:30AM the next day. Their website states "Our teams are ready to go on very short notice." Sounds great if it turned out to be true! The lady who called me mentioned that they would not be able to get a tracking dog out until "at the earliest Tuesday" which was still a "maybe". This conversation happened on a Saturday morning, so I'm being told by them that it'll take at least 3 days to get out here. But they're happy to charge me I believe $80 for advice over the phone, how convenient... I understand that they're a non-profit organization and many of the trackers are volunteers, but the reason she explained they would not be able to help me sooner is because they're shooting videos for a show that will be on the Discovery Channel. THANK YOU, Dogs Finding Dogs, for putting media coverage before what is supposed to be your mission and your customer. After I declined their phone service and decided to hold off on scheduling the tracking dog because of the huge delay, the lady on the phone kindly suggested I check out their program on the Discovery Channel. I could not believe that my request to find my beloved cat turned into a lousy advertisement. Eventually I came to the end of my options and called them back to schedule the tracking dog. Their fee for this is $200 plus I think 53 cents per mile for the tracking dog owner's vehicle expenses. Little more money than I expected to pay, but fine, I want my cat back and they claim a 97% success rate. Take my money. They make you pay via Paypal before the tracking dog owner leaves for the visit; fine, I understand, people probably don't pay after the dog leaves pretty often. Probably because the tracking process often feels pathetic and like a waste of time. The dog assigned to me was Riley. We did a scan of the property and I showed the dog owner what I've done so far. We start tracking and eventually end up in the woods where Riley spots a couple deer and becomes EXTREMELY distracted. He stopped, looked at the deer, barked a few times, and then we continued when the deer ran away. Guess where we continued moving toward... yep, toward the deer. We eventually get near a property and Riley wanted to continue in a certain direction (toward the property somewhat up a hill). Riley's owner did not want to continue in that direction because she "did not know what was up there". I offered to go first and see if the property owner is okay with us searching around and she suggested we move on elsewhere. Fine, you're the professional, I'll follow your lead. Regardless, in the back of my mind, I'm thinking "I paid $250 for your dog to track my cat and you're not letting him go where he is suggesting my cat may be?". We continue through the woods, along the edge of the property, and make our way back to the car. The dog's owner said "when he gets back to the car and waits, we know he is done". Keep in mind, it's almost rush hour at this time (3PM). We get close to the car and Riley stops and stares away from the car, suggesting that's the next area to search. I see the leash tighten; the owner is holding the dog back from continuing. 30 seconds pass and the dog goes back to the car and gets a donut. I'm furious at this point. The dog's owner left me with a plan that involved leaving food in a trap, leaving some scent articles outside, and pouring food chum out, then left. I did pretty much everything they recommended except leaving food bags in my neighbors mailboxes; I found that to be invasive, but handed out over 300 flyers nonetheless. I get a phone call every 2 weeks just to check in with no good news to share.

My pet turkey, Scout went missing just shy of thanksgiving. I searched the area for days but was unsuccessful in finding him. He was at least 50 pounds so I know he was not taken by a predator as I would have found a feather trail/body. I called dogs finding dogs and they were very responsive, they got a tracker dispatched to me the next day. Felicia and K9 Riley responded. We began the track and k9 Riley followed a trail that ended abruptly at the road way. Although it was my worst fear, it was most likely Scout was stolen from my property. She assisted me with an action plan in case he wasn’t stolen to get him back, and even though they don’t track many turkeys she made my action plan specific to my case. Dogs finding dogs shared my lost post/reward post on social media and it reached many people, they even helped get my story on the news. Unfortunately Scout was never found due to his theft, but I received the closure I needed thanks to dogs finding dogs.

I cannot recommend Dogs Finding Dogs enough!!! They are incredible! Our cat was missing and we had EVERYONE in our highly populated neighborhood looking for him. I had them come out twice to track my cat and he was found EXACTLY where they told me to place a trap. Sherry and Tucker were a great team! Tucker seemed to pick up a scent, and Sherry was able to read his actions so well that we had him caught the next night. All I can say is, DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU!!! Trust the process and they will find your missing pet!

Our indoor cat darted out the side door one night after standing there countless times and never attempting to get outside. I called DFD the next morning (referred by a friend), and within 1-2 hours of the initial call, their intake staff called to set up the initial track for the very next day. Sherry and her dog Tucker were able to narrow our cat's location to a thicket of trees behind our community. She gave us an action plan to help him find his way home, and she was consistently available by text to give us tips or feedback on additional things to try. It took 10 agonizing days, but we went out one morning and our cat was in the trap right outside our door! DFD helped us to get organized and gave us a sense of hope when we needed it the most. We are very thankful for them and their help!

I never thought that Pookie would live this long on her own trapped inside a wall for 11 days! She is my kitty and my best friend. Its Amazing to see what dogs can smell to find a hidden animal. As I was in the process of moving from my home, the landlord was remodeling the basement. Pookie went missing and I thought for sure she got out the door. Dogs FindingDogs brought over one of their dogs that is trained to look for pets in a house. First they checked outside for Pookies scent and there was nothing there. So they went inside and the dog zeroed in on a wall in the basement. We cut open the wall and there was Pookie. Pookie had accidently been dry walled into the space between the wall and the drywall. No food or water for 11 days!!! She is perfectly fine. I am so greatful to them for finding my baby. It was a happy ending for all of us!

Riley and Felicia were beyond wonderful. I followed their guidelines and our gokden came home 9 days after going missing. Injured, but home. Felicia remained a resource even after Amos was home.

My cat Lily was missing for 3 weeks. Dogs Finding Dogs was instrumental in pinpointing her location and telling us where to set traps to get her. They gave us an action plan on how to get her plan and was with us through the whole ordeal. A huge shout out to our tracker Cheryl and her dog for helping us get our kitty back! If you have a lost pet contact Dogs finding Dogs immediately!!!

Our cat, Boh, went missing this past Christmas Eve during the extremely cold weather that passed through. My family called Dogs Finding Dogs to try and help us find him. We got a response back very quickly and within a day, Felicia and her tracking dog Riley came out to help us track him. We were able to locate the general location of our cat. She gave us several extremely helpful tips to lure him back to our home. We followed everything she suggested and did not give up hope. Thanks to Felicia and Riley, our Boh was back home a week later. I would highly recommend Dogs Finding Dogs to everyone! We are forever grateful!

I cannot thank Anne and K9 Gretel enough for helping me get my cat Panda back. Panda escaped my house and I was so upset. I reached out to Dogs Finding Dogs spoke with them. Anne and K9 Gretel came to my house and Gretel took us to my neighbors building but it was locked and we couldn't get inside. My neighbor came home and Panda was indeed locked inside the building. I always recommend Dogs Finding Dogs and thank you again.
