This is going to be a bit of a "stan" review. Recently, my dog Tucker, collapsed at boarding while I was out of town. For understanding this happened just after a major winter storm that shut down everything. Because of the quick action of the staff and owner, Tucker was immediately taken to the emergency room and rushed into surgery that afternoon. Without fur-get-me-not, Tucker wouldn't be sitting at my feet recovering now. I can't say enough good about this company, it's team and how they have provided excellent care for my two dogs over the past two years. These folks know my dogs, their personalities and their needs. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Puppy social is a great way to get your new canine pal some life skills, and it is a great way to start your day.

TLDR: NOT EFFECTIVE training for some aggressive or reactive dogs. If you don't know, this is a positive-only training company as opposed to balanced training where you introduce both positive rewards and negative consequences. While this place was great for our one dog who needed more confidence, it was a DISASTER for our other dog who was reactive. Our 2-year old chihuahua was reacting on walks to other dogs, people, strollers, ect by barking and lunging. He was also reactive in the house, growling at me if he got scared. We spent 8-months in a 1-1 aggressive training course and his behavior only got WORSE. We were advised to accommodate his bad behaviors, distracting him with reward. We felt hopeless. Our trainer asked us to consider anxiety medication and told us about re-homing options. Finally, we decided to try balanced training with a different company. We used Ridgeside K-9 but I'm sure there are others. They introduced an e-colar for negative consequences in addition to positive rewards. Fur-Get-Me-Not is against these methods and our trainer actually warned us not to do this. But it was the BEST decision we ever made. We are about 3 months in and he SO much less reactive. He knows how to manage his emotions he is now super relaxed on walks, staying right by our side when dogs or people pass by. He even heels on walks now! But also, he is sooooo much happier. His anxiety is actually significantly lower!! He is friendly and calm when meeting people. We can even bring him to outdoor patios now. He is so much happier, and so are we!

I highly recommend Fur-Get Me not training services. I have a dog who is HIGHLY reactive and have been in similar situations to others who have left reviews as well. The trainer that I worked with has been nothing but gracious and understanding giving me concrete tools and ideas on how to help my dog become less reactive. I appreciate the suggestions and training I am getting, along with my dog! If you want good ethical training for your dog, I would say, look no further! I'm looking forward to continuing working with Fur-Get Me not trainers to learn more to help my dog.

I used Fur-Get-Me-Not for dog training on basic manners, and currently use them for midday dog walks and occasionally day care. They are exceptional. Unfailingly professional and responsive, and most importantly they care for my pet in a very personal and mature manner. I recommend them to anyone in the market for these services.

Long overdue review... I only have good things to say about FGMN. My dog Simon started training and attending daycare in February 2019. I was happy with the training we received, and Simon continues to attend daycare three days a week. Every trainer, daycare attendant, and support staff has been friendly and nice to work with. FGMN manages their play groups carefully, making changes when necessary to ensure that all dogs are safe and happy. Attendants are always present, and daily report cards are provided (greatly appreciated!). I'm always confident that, when I drop Simon off each morning, he is in good hands and receiving great care. Simon is a happy little punk, and I know FGMN plays a role. Also, if the need arises, I will not hesitate to board Simon at FGMN.

I have nothing but good things to say about Furgetmenot. They treat your pet as if they were royalty - everyone who works there is a true dog lover. My dog LOVES to go to daycare, will willingly submit to a bath by the Furgetmenot folks, and often doesn't even want to come home after boarding. I've also used their dog training and dog sitting services and have been 100% satisfied. You never have to worry about your pet if they are in the hands of the Furgetmenot team.

My husband and I have been taking our 14 month old Golden Irish, Kilroy, to FGMN for the last 10 months and we love it! As soon as we pull into the parking lot, Kilroy's tail starts wagging like crazy so we know he loves it there! From daycare to boarding, we have had great experiences working with the FGMN team, even when we make last minute requests. Kilroy almost always comes back looking/smelling clean (which we *really* appreciate) and is tuckered out for the rest of the night which is the best! When we drop him off for daycare or boarding we know he is having fun and being taken care of!

I have been taking my dog to Fur-Get Me Not for about a month now. They have been fantastic! I really feel that they care about my dog and I can see how much he loves going there. Over the past few weeks, his confidence has increased so much. I love the report cards they leave at the end of the day that lets you know who they played with and how their behavior was. Keep up the great work!

My dog does weekend daycare and boarding at Fur-Get Me Not. We love the place, the staff is so friendly and genuine and my dog adores them. We recently boarded her for more than two weeks and she came back as healthy and happy as when we dropped her off. Another time when my dog was boarding, she unexpectedly got sick and they took her to our own vet on the other side of town. This place is the real deal.

I love this place! They do a great job with the dogs. My boy is a handful and I’m grateful and impressed with how they are able to integrate him into the daycare pack. Great management and front desk staff.

We’ve been bringing our dog to Fur-Get Me Not since we adopted him almost 3 years ago. He LOVES going there and I always know he’s being well taken care of. He is high energy and can be a handful, but they’ve always been able to manage him. They’ve been especially flexible with our ever changing pandemic work schedule, which is so helpful. Couldn’t be happier that we chose Fur-Get Me Not!

We rescued a small dog who had been very neglected and therefore had A LOT of fears. We took him to the Confidence Building I class a few years ago and it did wonders for him. It helped him gain so much confidence that he is like a different dog. He has really blossomed over the past few years and we think much of that growth is due to Confidence Building. We would recommend Fur-get Me Not’s training classes to anyone. They are professional, friendly, and worth every penny.

We adopted from a partnering rescue facility, but because we live in a different area, Fur Get Me Not's "services" to their partner shelters were void. This of course is their choice, but as such seems rather self serving and not a service to anyone - themselves, or the shelters with which they partner.

I’ve been using Fur-Get Me Not for about 3 years for dogwalking and I’ve tried out the doggie daycare. I took my dog to daycare once a week for probably 6 months, and I still run into daycare folks who remember and are excited to see my dog when we’re out and about and it makes me so happy to know that the people who work at FGMN really love the dogs they take care of. I especially love their dogwalking service, in addition to every dogwalker taking such good care of my dog and working with her leash aggression, it’s nice that they can always get a sub if our usual walker is unable to make it. Thanks FGMN for everything, Stella loves you all!

They really work with both the owners and dogs to successfully build a relationship where you can teach your dog new things and how you want them to act even in new situations outside of class. Our dog loved coming to class and is always the best behaved dogs when we are out with friends!

This service is dangerous to your pets. I arranged for twice-a-day visits to my cats while out of town for a week, but they only sent someone once a day. In addition they left open cans of cat food sitting on the counter, did not dispose of litter properly, left the kitchen counters and floors covered in dried canned cat food, and did not clean up urine on the floor in the bathroom. The entire house smelled terrible and it took two days to clean everything. Do not use them, they cannot be relied upon to show up when they say they will and they will leave your home looking like a pigsty.

Great port in a storm! Arrived to our hotel, advertised as pet friendly, only to find out it wasn't so. Thanks for keeping Clyde.

My cat was cared for, which is the most important consideration. But they lost a keychain that was very unique (a picture of my cat) and had great sentimental value to me. I really don't know why it was removed from the key in the first place. They had the key, but lost my keychain.

Loved the free puppy socials at this place. Free for dogs uptil 6 months. Great way for your pup to be around similar age and size dogs. My dog loves the beef roll treats available in the office.

We have boarded our dog there multiple times now and previously they were fine. This time they kept mixing our dog up with another dog boarded there and so we have no idea if she was receiving her proper medications. We had two sentence updates about her stay. When we went to pick her up they brought out the wrong dog. No final paperwork about how she did during the week. They are very nice but I no longer trust them to make sure MY dog is getting her medications properly. We will be finding other dog boarding for future vacations.
