Very happy with a new veterinarian service

Cancelled our dog's spay appointment last minute, and were unable to provide a reason. Due to our busy lives we schedule 3 months out. Due to the shortsightedness, we were kicked out of day care until she was spayed. Furthermore, Dr Longo was very condescending.There are a lot of great vet clinics in Annapolis, but this isn't one of them. Far from it. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Avoid this Vet Clinic. The Vet Clinic owner decided I was not a valuable enough client for them. I will go else where where my dog is treated better.

Good experience recently; we brought out young dog in for a skin problem. Our regular vet couldn't get us in for a few weeks. Very professional services. Would come here again!

Friendly and caring Vets, nice staff. They cut my puppy's nails for free. I feel like they really care about my fur baby.

Dr. Longo and staff have given great care to our cats over the years and especially recently.

Our Gordon Setter is 12 1/2 and a good judge of character! He knew he was in good hands from the 1st moment on.. a very caring veterinary expert with all the correct instincts. The entire staff is on the same page.

This hospital for my dog is friendly, expert and reasonably priced. Altho I have an elder dog, I’m so relieved to find caring staff and reliable service. Being late for my first appointment, they were forgiving and fit me in as quickly as they could. Following CDC rules and regulations during the pandemic, they were safe for me and my one-eyed Ocho. Thank you!

Very nice and knowledgeable. My dog Is in good hands here. Everytime I come here its gets pricey quick, but the vet is always expensive, it is not that they are any worse then anywhere else. Overall I'm happy and will keep coming back

Good local vet, been going there for my dogs for 17 yeats.

Over priced and sub par care. The only reason we went there was the proximity to our home. But immediately we realized that the hospital overcharged and provided subpar care.

My cat had a skin infection problem and UTI. When I told the vet what was happening, she came up with a prognosis. I let her know what SHE believed to be fleas may have been a rash, an allergy- but no. She was medicated for fleas. Because that’s what the doctor said. Her skin infection got worse, instead of just her collar and head, she had bumps everywhere on her body. Now the UTI- after pushing x rays ($800) and medication and a shot to the bladder- my cat is urinating more, she has blood in her waste still- I mean, my god the audacity of these people to upcharge you for treatment of your pet, pushing, only to run the bill up- I got an invoice in the mail for $60 dollars even though I had paid for treatment, and they let me know it’s because THEY forgot to charge the correct amount. Really? it’s disgusting. Huffard vet may be 20 minutes further away but it’s much more worth it. Thank you for your services, but instead of acting like you know everything about the animal, please, listen to the owners- you made my pet more sick, and like hell am I going to pay for that anymore.

We have been a customer for 17 years for 3 dogs and 1 cat. The veterinarians are very helpful and understanding. When our first dog was aging and having health issues, they gave of strength that we were making the right decisions for her.

Some of the staff need customer service training. Wondering where Dr. Powell went. She’s soooo caring and I hope she is ok? The good vet techs are missing too may be time to move on.

Dr. W is not a great vet for dogs. She May be be for a cat but definitely not dogs. I left this place and found Dr. Powell at VCA Edgwater and I can’t be happier. My dogs and foster dogs love going to see Dr. Powell. She is a hero of her profession. Dr. W misdiagnosed my dog and almost killed him. I will never go back so glad Dr. Powell still is in the area.

The people are great. They care about your animals. Curbside check in and check out was speedy. The veterinarian was very sweet and pleasant. They answer every question you have and inform you of cost and time of what ever test you have.

I wish that I could give a 0 out of 5. We took a stray kitten off of the streets and took to this animal hospital. The kitten obviously had health issues. When we took him there, we said yes to every test, medicine, and X-ray. Our kitten sadly passed away 6 days after starting treatment from this Animal Hospital. We used them as a reference for trying to adopt from a rescue. They proceeded to tell the rescue center that we did not have the funds to pay to save our kitten. I’m not sure how saying yes to everything they suggested and paying well over $800 in full is switched into my family not knowing how to save and be able to take care of animals. Not impressed and disgusted with this business.

We have been taking our sweet boy (lab) to see Dr. Susan LONGO for years. She is caring, direct about treatment options and always follows up in a timely manner. The team is friendly and professional.

I have been taking my dog to another vet for years, but when he got injured my vet said they couldn't see him that day. I went on a recommendation to Bay Ridge and I could not be happier with my decision. So much so, that I will now be using them as my vet hospital for my two dogs.

It is tough during COVID times but I am so thankful for Bay Ridge Animal Hospital. I was very concerned about some recent changes in my dog. I called on a Monday and they were booked solid all week, but told me to call each morning. I was able to get into see them today (Wednesday) I could not go in with her but they were caring, prompt and took the time to talk with me over the phone. Thank you so much.

I seriously cannot say how amazing this place has been for our pups. The staff are always so friendly and Dr. Longo IS AMAZING! My dog of 15yrs absolutely loved her and was always in a good mood to see her friends at Bay Ridge❤️. Anytime anyone in the area gets a new pet, I send them here. Keep up the outstanding work!
