Staff is always polite, attentive,, courteous and attentive to your needs and tequests.

My first time there and Elise Powell was the best! She explained everything. She made me feel comfortable. My dog loved her. She handled him with kindness and not once did he show any signs of discomfort. I highly recommend her and her staff. They all were very caring and kind.

From the minute you book an appointment, through an exam or procedure, and to the thoughtful follow up call VCA South Arundel treats pets (and humans) with incredible compassion and professionalism. We moved to the area a couple years ago and our only concern was leaving our previous veterinarian behind- VCA South Arundel immediately put those doubts to rest and helped our 3 dogs and 2 cats transition to their new home and maintain excellent health! Their care club offer is well worth the money if you can afford it- unlimited wellness visits are included in what is essentially the price of an annual exam and vaccination regimen. It really has put our mind at ease on several occasions! They carry a National franchise brand but this is truly a family animal hospital! If you are new to the area or looking for a great vet, I simply cannot recommend this practice enough… I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

I have to say I been to plenty of vets and none of them stack up to the quality of this one. As, a dog trainer my dog comes with me to appointments sometimes to help with the training. When I come her for her checkup or anything the atmosphere is great. From the front desk to the doctors Claire loves it there. She gets super excited when we get of the ramp. They always let me know what’s the cause and if it’s serious or not now that we are allowed back inside it’s back too normal for me.Claire I’ll definitely recommend them to anyone who has a pet

There is not a better place or more reliable place to take your fur babies. I almost want to be treated here! They are also on the ball and check in even weeks after! All 6 of my fur kids have been transferred here and I kinda feel like family at this point. I have been so impressed that referred friends that now drive an hour to get the vest care!

Decent vets, but crazy expensive and not at all responsive about follow-up. I've had to call them for test results several times and they didn't call me back when they said they would. At these prices, I expect better. I've had equally good care and better responsiveness from much less expensive vets.

Such a great place to take pets. Love the staff here, they really care about the animals and do a great job explaining to us what results mean. Even when I have a lot of questions I never feel like I'm not allowed to ask. It's really nice. Thank you for all that you do! Tesla and Sadie say "thanks"!

Brittany was great, and even came out with an umbrella to keep my kitter dry.

Was more than I expected. Bennie had infections ears; doing well. Grooming was very good.

I really love this place. They always get me in to see my vet in a timely manner. They have wonderful care and very fair prices. The vets are fantastic and thorough. They truly care about my pet as well as my family. When we lost a pet the hospital was instrumental in the process and really helped us. I can not speak more highly of this place.

They are the best. VCA treats your fur babies like they were their own. When my cat was sick they reached out every few days to make sure he was getting better.

Nice people, bad practices. Over priced and have changed me with services unrendered. Look elsewhere is just my opinion.

Wonderful visit for our American bulldog. Everyone, receptionist, vet asst., and vet, were all outstanding, courteous and professional. Would highly recommend for your pet care needs.

Dr. Kligge is terrific, and very kind!

They actually care about your pet and treat you and them like family. They also understand vet treatment can be very unaffordable for people and worked with me to find affordable options to get my dog the surgery she needed. Dr. Kligg is amazing. My dogs will only go to him from now on!

They take very good care of your pets. Everyone who works here, from the office staff to the groomers, and the vets are professional, courteous, and caring. Since COVID-19, it's been curb side drop off/ pickup. It's not perfect but they are accommodating. Stay safe everyone and WEAR A MASK ☺

I was going to let it go. I wasn't going to write a review. My girlfriend and I have been unhappy with VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital for several reasons, but when we learned today that they were vindictive enough to cancel prescriptions for one of our dogs that had three remaining refills for switching vets, I'm left blown away. Stay away from this place. Don't trust all of the good reviews. Bad companies hire media companies to boost ratings. VCA actually has a Facebook group called: "VCA animal hospital is a horrible place" with 52 members. We are much more happy with our new veterinarian, Greater South River Animal Hospital.

VCA takes great care of our dog and it very accommodating to see her whenever she needs attention.

Great hospital. They took care of both our previous dogs and when it came time to end their suffering they made that process very personal and private. Now they're caring for our current dog with the same personal touch.
