We have been taking our dog to Bay Country for two year since we have adopted her, and they are great every time! We've gone to both Annapolis and Crownsville locations.

Staff was all very accommodating and friendly. Knowledgeable vet provided a good visit.

My dog was sick and not eating. Her regular vet clinics both refused to see her although they did refer us to Bay County for emergency services. We ultimately had to make the agonizing decision to put our pet down, Dr. Coles and her staff couldn't have been nicer. We will never forget the kindness and compassion shown by Bay County Veterinary Hospital.

Great Vets and Vet Techs! We really appreciate the care they take of our 3 border collies and cat over the years. They take pet insurance and even help filing out the forms.

I've posted previously about this vet. They have two locations, one in Crownsville, and one in Annapolis. Always a positive experience entrusting my pet's care to them. Scheduling appointments is easy through their online site or the use of a PetPro app. With COVID they have an associate come out to get your pet while you wait in the car or parking lot. After the visit, the vet comes out and discuses the appointment which I find to be very helpful. Through the app or online you can also readily access past appointments and track upcoming vaccinations etc. Overall I have yet to find anything they don't do well.

They explained new COVID procedures of keeping the pet parents outside the office. Seemed to work well for us.

I had to put my dog down, and the staff was extremely kind and understanding if my grief. I wasn't just another customer. They sent me a condolence card, sent me a plaster cast of his pawprint and even donated to have a tree planted in his honor. I was going to take my next puppy somewhere else because I had a coupon, but Bay Country has me for a client for life. I just wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Would not recommend this place for small animals. We took our hamster here because their website says they care for small animals and exotics. The soonest “emergency” appointment was scheduled the following evening (no urgency for small animals). Our visit was about 15 minutes. As soon as they brought out the over priced supplements, my heart dropped, I just knew this was going to be a bad experience. Before bring in the bill, the vet said the hamster would probably die. The bill was $144: $78 for the 15 minute visit to look at the animal, $51 for $1 worth of antibiotics with a $50 “dispensing fee” and $15 for a supplement up sale. I have taken a hamster to a vet in Westminster years ago and the total for the visit and medicine was $25. I was prepared for this to be more, but not 6 times more. We had $80 to our name including my sons piggy bank. My husband said he could come back in the morning with more money for the medicine and the vet assistant snuck me the morning dose for our hamster (that’s why I’m giving 2 stars, because she was a star). The vet only gave 14 .01 ml doses of Baytril and said we could call and get more if needed. When I called for more, because the hamster was fighting to live, I was told they had a 48 hour turn around for prescriptions. This information was not shared at our visit or I would have called before her last dose. Our hamster took her last dose yesterday morning which is why I called. She has now passed away this morning, I still have not heard back from Bay Country Animal Hospital. I understand vets don’t want to waste their time on small animals like hamsters, but if you don’t care about helping these little critters, then your office shouldn’t offer the service. I also have Sugar Gliders that will I am looking for a vet care for, at least I know that we will not be bringing them here. I am writing this review to prevent others with small animals they love, from going through the same disappointment if their loved one is in need.

We had a great experience for our dog's annual visit here. Easy to schedule an appointment, good advice from the vet, and reasonable prices for everything. They were also great with following up. Would definitely recommend!

Friendly and knowledgeable exotic pet. Took my guinea pig Rodney up there for a skin problem and the vet went through several different treatment options for me to treat my pig. While we were waiting, the vet tech brought in a piece of carrot she had and shared with my guinea pig which was nice of her.

I only give a 4 star because of the prices, because the care is worth 5. The cost is outrageous, to be honest. The care that I receive for my pets, however, I feel is exceptionally good. I will continue to go there, because I want the best for my pets, but the cost makes it almost impossible for me to take them as often as I should.

Dr. Hall has been sorely missed. Since his passing this Vet service has charged three times that of previous visits and offers less services. Currently looking for a new Vet.

I walked into the vet for a simple question, to see if they carried a type of food for a cat I was sitting for, as I live right next door I did not think walking in would be a hassle. The receiptionst, although very nice, had no clue if …
