Not sure why half of the reviews on here seem to be for a completely different vet clinic - mine is for the actual Animal Dental Center and specifically for Dr. Volker! I can't say enough good things about her, I've seen her with three of my (oriental/siamese) cats and she is truly outstanding. Very caring, kind, and competent!! I work at a regular vet office and we refer clients to the ADC a lot (because let's be honest, you wouldn't go to your primary care physician for a dental issue, would you?). I'm only ever hearing positive feedback, this is an overall really great facility!

Dr. Kim was amazing! Having had traumatic experiences at other places I was worried about my 13 year old mini Doxi and younger Malinois. Dr. Kim explained everything thoroughly and professionally and made sure I understood the procedure and aftermath. I felt my dogs were in the best possible hands. The results were excellent tool

Our dog has been spayed, and a separate surgery with ROCAH. We have had positive experiences every time. I also would like to note that their pricing seems fair compared to other vets.

I mostly like Pet Suites. However, when I picked up my dog, she had a honky cough. She is vaccinated for Bordetella so I was a little taken aback that she had developed this cough. She continued to have the next day so it took a vet visit to determine that it was kennel cough. So on top of what I paid for her "stay" at the resort, I had to pay another $146 to the vet. Not really what I wanted to come home to, but I guess it happens. She will be OK. My pocketbook, not so much. :(

Dr. Volker and her team are absolutely amazing. Our dog Rudy is a mini Australian Shepherd and is less than 2 years old. She required a full tooth extraction and the procedure couldn't have gone better. We were extremely nervous about Rudy undergoing dental surgery, but Dr. Vulker put our minds at ease and assured us she would be fine. The procedure took several hours but Rudy bounced back so fast and was back to normal the next day. There was minimal bleeding, minimal pain, and absolutely no complications. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vulker and her team because of their professionalism and their love for your pet. Rudy can now live a pain free life due to Dr. Vulker and the Animal Dental Center in Annapolis!

Our 9 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, Bindi, was diagnosed on 2 March with Acanthomatous ameloblastoma, an aggressive tumor in her mouth that would grow very quickly. Our veterinarian, Crofton Veterinarian Center, recommended that we act very quickly. She recommended Animal Dental Center for Bindi's surgery. Bindi would need a partial mandibulectomy. Just the thought of that is terrifying and unsettling. But we felt like we were making the best decision, given that Bindi is still otherwise very healthy, active, happy, and just a most precious family member to us. My daughter and I were pretty scared about the thought of a serious surgery. The day of the surgery, we arrived, Bindi was checked in, and it was explained to us what would happen. We were nervous. I'll be honest, we were both worried how she would eat, how she would feel towards us, and how it would look. I would definitely recommend getting the pain patch for your dog, as that was a tremendous help to her. We stayed home to be with Bindi and help her recover. My immediate reaction was, "did we do the right thing?" Several days post surgery, Bindi began eating again, little bit at a time. Each day was a new milestone back to her normal self again. It's only been one full week post surgery and she is doing absolutely fantastic! We are so pleased with how well she's recovered and adapted! It's definitely a scary diagnosis and procedure, but very well worth it. We now have years more of healthy life for Bindi! Thank you so much!!

I have brought my dog to a few vets in the area and none have been as great and caring as this one. Great friendly staff that explains everything very well. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr McCarthy was wonderful and really put us at ease with her friendly and calm demeanor and patience with all of my questions. The assistants were kind and gentle with our soon to be 1 year old pup as she was prepared for her spay. They stayed on top of updating us with what was going on every step of the way. Their prices were wonderful and their service was even better! Thank you for taking such good care of our girl. She is now home and recovering :)

I love Randall oak animal hospital ! I have always walked away feeling informed on my Pets healthy and How to make sure they have a good quality of life . Also, I don’t ever feel like I’m being ripped off or taking advantage when it comes to cost . I feel like everyone there loves their job and animals and it gives me comfort knowing my furry babies are in good hands .

My 11 year old Golden Retriever, Mason, had an abscess on his rump. He was also in dire need of a good teeth cleaning. Dr. McCarthy did both the same day so Mason only had to have one general. Outstanding work!

Dr. Kim was AMAZING with my elderly chihuahua. He needed ALL of his remaining teeth removed (~ 14 teeth). He has heart problems and had a scary reaction to anesthesia during a different procedure, so I was VERY nervous. Dr. Kim was reassuring, confident, and incredibly patient with both my nerves and my dog's nerves. The procedure was uneventful, and at discharge he was more alert than he normally is after anesthesia (photo is from his discharge). He recovered quickly and his follow-up appointment was fast and easy. I was thrilled with Dr. Kim and will definitely be back anytime one of my dogs needs a dentist. Worth every penny!

My dog Kali had oral surgery at the Animal Dental Center last year. After surgery they prescribed unnecessarily several medications which made my dog sick. On top of all the expensive oral meds they prescribed which are still sitting in the medicine cabinet, they gave her an expensive fentanyl patch that got her sick. She was vomiting and loopy. I had to call them several times to figure out which medication to stop. After about 2 days, she only wound up using one medication and I had to remove the patch after one day because she was walking around like a doped up zombie.. During her follow up I took the medications back and told the doctor that he gave her meds she didn't need and they only got her sick. No refund was offered. On top of that, they ordered a biopsy without consulting me and charged me. I would never go back here or recommend this place to anyone. I paid over $3,000 for my dog's surgery and got mediocre service and care.

Obvious in their care and affection for the animals and for their caregivers. My horror at my cat's condition was mitigated by everyone's assurance that I was not an evil person ("not everone looks down their cat"s throat"). And we got on with it. Surgery and follow-up care. Ictedible skill.

The day we had an icy morning I opened my back door to let my baby out to go potty. When he slid and flew down my steps my heart dropped. He got up but was yelping and pawing at his jaw. I rushed him in to the closest ER who referred me to the Dr. Luskin at the Animal Dental Center. I called praying I could get him in, the vet had said his jaw was fractured. A miracle it was they were able to get him in that same day to have Rex’s jaw fracture attended to by competent caring professionals. I rushed him in there, they immediately took him back and gave him something to help with pain and placed a muzzle to stabilize the jaw. Dr. Luskin and Dr. Kim came in and discussed the procedure that would need to be done to help my poor baby regain use of his jaw and be almost as new. They were very compassionate and helped calm my nerves down by going over every detail with me. I left Rex there and stayed in the area because I was a mess and there was no way I was going home. Stopped in to check on him and was given complete updates on how the procedure was going. When they finished Dr. Luskin came out to tell me how my baby was doing and he and Dr. Kim went over the whole procedure showing me the x-rays and pictures and gave me all the information I would need for home care to ensure his recovery. My Rex is now able to chew on his favorite stuffed ducky and eat like a normal dog. Thank you to the Animal Dental Center and the caring staff there. I have my Rex still because of you.

Dr. Volker did an amazing job with my dog, Charlie! He had his teeth cleaned, and a few extracted. Charlie made out wonderfully after the procedure, and I couldn't be more happy with Dr. Volker and her professional staff!
