I have a 6 year old shetland sheepdog that I've been bringing to Annandale Pet Spa since she was a puppy. Paul and the team provide consistent great service and my girl comes out beautiful every time!! Plus they have good liver treats, according to her.

We followed Rachel when Hairy Situations closed. We love her and she does an amazing job grooming our pug and Australian Shepherd.

Best cat groomer! I’ve tried several pet groomers and my cat has come out looking all sort of fugly. Here I am able to get an appointment within a week of calling. Even though my cat doesn’t enjoy going to any pet groomer, he always comes back smelling and looking a lot better :)

This is the best groomer around! I have tried other places and nobody compares! Will be coming back everytime. Paul and Sisi do an amazing job on my 13 year old golden retriever and treat him like family!

Excellent service! We have always taken our dogs to get groomed by Joaquin after our friends recommended him, and he has been so wonderful with our two Shih Tzu pups. We are already dreading having to move out of the area as I am nervous about finding another quality groomer that is as kind and skillful with our pups as him!

You can tell that Paul really cares for and loves the animals that come in to the salon. Use it he did a wonderful job on my little Molly and I will be going back

We’ve been coming to Annandale pet spa for a long while now and we are so happy with them! Sisi does the most incredible job every time (we’ve used several other grooming services before and none compare to how great she looks after seeing Sisi), our dog Mandy absolutely loves her and I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

Have had good experiences before but we hadn't been for a couple of years. Took our two cats here and my mom said there must have been a change in owner or management or something as the workers seemed rude and not to care at all. Our cats have never acted the way they did when they came back from here this time. They were showing signs of extreme stress and fear that they hadn't any other time they'd gone here, the vet, or boarding. They also absolutely reek of perfume. Even 10 hours later the smell is so strong that it gives me a headache just being a couple of feet within my cats. It legit smells and feels like they were doused in fabric softener. The one time we had their nails cut, they were cut so short they bled.

I highly recommend Annandale Pet Spa! We got our girl a little over a month ago. I was a little nervous taking her to the groomer for the first time because she can be apprehensive around new people. Rachel did an amazing job - Freya seemed totally comfortable when I picked her up and she looks gorgeous! Absolutely will be returning for her next grooming!

Paul consistently provides excellent grooming to Mia, always doing exactly what I ask for at a reasonable price. Mia loves going there. Paul has been a groomer for many years and at one time groomed only show dogs. Love this spA!

Stay away from here! My cat had a uti last week. I had to take him to the emergency vet and although now better, he desperately needed to be cleaned up. Everywhere was about a months out but this place. My cat has NEVER had any issues and has been going to groomers since he was a baby. When I came to get him they talked about how “not nice” he was especially when they “tossed him on his back”. THEN they charged me $20 extra because “someone else had to help” groom a cat. If you were an animal, recently sick and in a new place, you’d be upset to get “tossed on your back” like an object. Super disappointed at the treatment of animals, how they talked about him to me and to their fellow staff, and charging me more for them doing their jobs. It was clearly a paycheck to them. No love for my poor cat at all. I will not be going back, and recommend you don’t go here. Only getting two stars because the lady on the phone was great and they did a great job with the style

Our dog, a poodle mix, looks great, but their prices are higher than both Petsmart and Petco. $80 vs $65.

I have a very anxious rescue puppy and I cannot believe how great Rachel did with her! I was nervous because our puppy had some past issues with groomers but Rachel took her time getting to know my dog’s specific needs and asked many question about what my dog would be comfortable with. The grooming was fantastic and I’m so relieved to find someone I trust. Cannot recommend them enough!

Finding a good groomer for my anxious German Shepherd can be really hard. I have yet to find anyone who is confident with her and makes her relax. Until I came here. I explained to them (as I always do) that she's an anxious dog and needs a confident hand. The groomer told me that she used to work with Dobermans and was very confident around big dogs. While I was sure she had those skills, the true test came when she took my dog back. And I'll be, she was right. My dog went with her willingly because she was confident and led my dog like a true professional. It seriously warmed my heart to know that my fur baby was in good hands. When I picked her up, she looked great. My dog had no problems with the staff and they said they would be happy to have her back. We are looking forward to bringing her again and highly recommend this groomer! Very professional and clearly passionate about animals.

Paul took great care of my cat named Guapo! Truly, I appreciate you Paul, my cat Guapo is so happy, his hair looks purrrfect! The cut is very even and all his little knots are gone. Did I mention that he smells lovely too? You are the best! I would recommend Pet Spa to anyone who is looking for a professional pet groomer!

My puppy can be difficult when it comes to grooming, or so I thought because other places were not able to groom him. But today he came back so cute. I really appreciate the time they took with him. We will be back.

Recommend booking an appointment with Rachel if you have a nervous pup. My yorkie looks adorable and is clean and happy.

I wouldn't trust my precious 4-legged child to anyone else besides these fantastic people at Annandale Pet Spa! I absolutely adore Paul, Cindy Lou, and Joaquin - because they just give my little guy the best care while he's there getting his regular "Spa Day" each month! Don't be discouraged if you can't always get the appointment you want, there's a reason why they're OFTEN fully booked! Just be patient and you won't be sorry! It feels risky leaving your best pet companion with someone else for an extended period of time. These folks gives their clients (pets) as much love and care as they would receive at home. In addition to that, they come home looking terrific and HAPPY. I could not be more pleased with this place. Joaquin listens to my concerns, gives my dog an A+ experience and puts this nervous dog parent at ease.

My 2 years old Morkie is always beautiful groomed I couldn’t be happier! We also cleaned his teeth there and they r now clean and white! Highly recommended!

Dropped my terrier off just after 8am, the groomer was not wearing a mask and had to be told by another client. I gave her all the info on my dog and left. I called at 2pm to check on him and she said he was doing fine and that he was a little skittish. I was told to pick him up at 3pm. I showed up just after 3, they brought my dog out and the only thing done was literally the top of his head. They told me that the groomer had gotten sick. Okay, I’d be fine with that, but I talked to his groomer at 2pm and she said everything was going well. So I’m looking at my ungroomed dog and they try to charge me the full $200, I said no, I’m not paying the full amount, this isn’t anywhere near done and I don’t think I can trust it to be done at my next appointment in two weeks. I ended up reluctantly paying half which I shouldn’t have because it wasn’t even near half the work. When I got him in the car, I could see beneath his eyebrows and on the bridge of his nose was super red and irritated. What was done was not done in the proper manner. DO NOT take your dogs here to be hand stripped. I’m glad I only lost $100, I think it could have been a lot worse. My dog was practically dying of dehydration when I got him to the car and looked just miserable. This place is a dump!!!!

Our cat was groomed here a few months ago. They did a solid job. She reeked like perfume which is unfortunate, but I didn't tell them not to use it so maybe that's on me. Only real complaint is that the staff weren't wearing masks. That made us extremely uncomfortable. So we went looking for another groomer and just tried For Pets Sake - HORRIBLE CHOICE. I guess we'll just have to double mask it and go back to Annandale Pet Spa for a fix up!

Our groomer of 10+ years, Rachel, recently moved to Annandale Pet Spa and did an amazing job with our new standard poodle puppy. Our pup is still learning how to be well behaved for the groomer and Rachel made it look easy - especially since poodles have such specific grooming needs! Rachel groomed our toy poodle for 10 years, even as he became an elderly grumpy little man, with kindness and patience. I couldn’t recommend her more for your pup!
