I was very happy with greeting I received from the owner as well as the wonderful grooming job he preformed on my pet Chance,being he is a senior dog he was patient and compassionate and understood what I had felt dealing with other coroner's

This grooming salon is a real find. As others have said John is extremely calm, measured & kind. My Maltese Mutt & Silkie Yorkie come out of their grooming extremely happy & looking beautiful. I like that this is a place where I am not going to get groomer of the day - but someone who loves & cares for all dogs.

I have two dogs and we all hated the grooming experience. So grateful we tried Rags To Riches. I was a bit put off by my first scheduling experience until I realized it's John doing everything and he manages the dogs during the day and the phone after. You can really tell he takes care of the dogs and they really don't mind being groomed anymore. Now that I get his system, I genuinely appreciate it. He's not juggling multiple things and he's shop environment reflects the calm demeanor in which he works. Mine are pretty much wash, nails, ears, extract...done. We get consistently high quality results each and every time. Grateful we found this place.

They never answer their phone and on 2 occasions they were closed with no hours posted on when they are opened

John is awesome with dogs. This is the 2 ND dog he's taken care of for us. Taylor is Abit more "active" than the previous one, but John takes it all in stride. Love going there....

He did a great job with my bichon! Who is super high energy and a handful at times, will definitely be going to get his haircut here from now on!

I drive all the way from Woodbridge to Alexandria to have our Yorkie groomed here. She is pretty timid especially with men and even more skittish about grooming because she had a traumatic grooming experience a couple years ago. She does very well here with John. He does a great job grooming her and when we come to pick her up she is calm and not anxious and spun up. I am grateful a neighbor recommended Rags to Riches and I highly recommend them too!

I took my dog there, he kept her for almost 8 hours. When I picked her up she was so nervous, she was having a reverse sneeze fit that lasted about 30 minutes. I was so upset. He was also rude to me. I will not be taking her back there ever again.

John is fantastic, he is very pleasant to deal with (very calm and laid back) and my dog and cat always look great. My cat in particular is very, very difficult to deal with (will bite and scratch) but John is totally professional and knows how to handle her, she is never stressed afterwards.

John has always been outstanding. We've been taking our dogs to him since 1996. Always very kind and pleasant

John is excellent. He really knows how to handle dogs and cats and he's very knowledgeable about animal behavior. He doesn't use any restraints - no idea how he does it!
