Nice selection of saltwater fish. but both times I made purchases the fish died within 48 hours from velvet (a serious marine fish disease)

The aquatics employee, Cole, is super helpful and very kind. Has helped me troubleshoot and set up my first tank. I am grateful for her help and expertise!

Amazing petco. Small store that really takes care of most their pets. Some algae on some tanks, but the lowest mortality rate of many of the other petsmarts and petcos in Alexandria. They are also one of the only petcos nearby to offer their pets at a clearance- i saw hamsters, crested geckos, and bettas all on clearance, most likely due to them being ill or kept too long. This is actually a very good idea, as it not only gets them out faster, but can then provide medication and a proper habitat at a reduced cost to the customer. We took in a very tiny female betta, and she is thriving in a 15 gallon tank now.

Their website is really terrible. Confirmation emails cone late and pickup orders take lots of time when you show up there.

Good place for refill clay litter, but disappointed Petco decided to limit cat food to what Petco considers higher-end brands.

Really explained how I should take care of my fishy :) they were so sweet and gave me their recommendations for the materials I should buy ( that won't break the bank since I am a broke college student)

We called to return a crate we bought only a couple days ago (prior to an international move) and no longer needed/never used. The young lady on the phone (very kind) told us she would speak to her manager to double check we could return it. We were ultimately told it would be no problem and were even told how we could receive a full refund - no problem. Our friend goes to return the cage and was denied - they no longer are capable of performing refunds without the receipt (even though 3 hours prior, we were told it would be no problem). Very confused how 3 hours can change the answer between managers and employees and disappointed. The employees there were kind but Petco and communication between employees needs to do better.

Very nice low key store, Rarely crowded, offers great trainers, they Have what I need, the isles are nice and wide, and are extremely clean. The associates are friendly people who also talk to my dog. Sometimes they give a milk bone treat at the register, my dog loves when they do that

The staff here are helpful. The inventory is sometimes not the best but these are hard days. I'm glad to have this store in the neighborhood.

Thankful to Christina and Briana for helping me bring home a happy baby tortoise. It was a one stop shop and i was able to get everything I needed for her. Coming back soon!

Great staff, super knowledgeable. Bought three ferrets from them and countless fish, frogs and supplies. They are always there to help when we have questions.

A smaller than the others but still plenty of supplies and critters

Visited this store for the third time since I moved to this area and never feel welcomed. The young lady who normally work in the fish section always short with me and seem as if she doesn’t like to assist me. But the main problem I had was the insect selection pacifically the mealworms and roaches. Every time I come here their insects are always died. Why do they always seem to Neglect their insects, I really wish someone from upper management would step in a handle this situation, it would be such a inconvenience to travel to other store.

There was a wide array of pet food and accessories.

I take my pup to get groomed every couple months they do a great job.

Petco is an awesome pet store that I've been going to for 10 years or so but at this store the staff are very nice and informative.

Ordered online for pick up in-store. Was efficient and on time. Did not wait long. Will shop again from the app!
